We went to visit the Ashton Palms assisted living facility since we were already in the region, looking at places for my friend's mother. We noticed that the outside was very nicely landscaped, with nice trees, shrubs, lawns and places to sit. The staff that greeted us was pleasant and friendly. We could see how well they interacted with the residents, who appeared very well cared for. The restaurant style dining area offers many delicious choices. The lunch looked like what you could find in a nice casual diner. They also had areas for residents to enjoy meals privately with friends and family. The private housing options were well decorated, fresh, clean and bright. The staff takes residents on weekly outings for shopping and entertainment, including local events, walks, dining, theater and other interesting excursions. The exercise area had nice equipment and also offered regular classes, assistance and instruction. This is a nicely designed assisted living facility that we could see is enjoyed by the residents, who are very well taken care of by professional, respectful and caring staff.
