ActivCare at 4S Ranch

My sister-in-law has moved into ActivCare at 4S Ranch. We've been very impressed with that. We looked at the other facilities, and they just didn't seem to be the right fit for her. We like the fact that they have full-time good staff, and they have a nurse that's available any time there's a fall or anything. They're right on top of it. They have activities for the residents. They're very good with their COVID protocols. It's a beautiful facility, and she's got a great room. The nurses are all caring. We like the facility; it's been probably the best placement for her. They do provide meals that look very healthy and nutritious. They try to get all the patients involved and doing things at their level, and they provide help as needed. The staff have all been very helpful and caring all around. In terms of value for money, it's not cheap to have residents live there. That's the only drawback, it is expensive. But on the other hand, you get what you pay for based on, the amount of staffing and everything they have. It's okay, but it is pricey. They try to keep the residents actively participating in the activities and the group. They don't just have them in their room all day with nobody to attend to them or just vegging. They try their best to do whatever they can to actively engage the clients. Another thing I liked about them is, I had called the Alzheimer's Society and asked for recommendations, and that was one of the places that they recommended.

My relative was a resident of ActivCare at 4S Ranch for 2 months. The place was beautiful and very clean. It was very nice to go visit. The staff was wonderful. They all were very, very nice and accommodating. They were very good to my relative. She had a private suite. It was a room with a bed, a dresser, a couple of chairs, and very adequate. They had a lot of little activities for them to do. Some of it was exercise. They did makeup and nails. They had different things throughout the day.
