"My father was at Country Manor La Mesa. The setting was nice. The staff was about average. He had occupational therapy and physical therapy there. He was also in a respiratory program. It had a nice outdoor area, and the residents could go inside or outside. All of that was fine. They had manicures, pedicures, or haircuts. They had people that come in once a month, and you could sign up on a list to make sure that you get your haircut or whatever when they come in. They had a really good social coordinator. They did lots of things. Every day there'd be one or two different events that would happen there. If you wanted to participate, you could; if not, you didn't have to. He stayed there for three months one time, and then one month another time."

"The rooms are very clean. They have a very conscientious housekeeping staff. The nurses and therapists who cared for my family were so helpful and available to answer our many questions. We were very happy that we chose Brighton Place Spring Valley."

The Center has up to date equipment and medical machinery, which provides for a great experience for the residents. iMany of the living spaces have available doors to the outdoor area and patio, which is beautiful. The Center organizes many activities and events for the residents which are fun and varied. The center has a partnership with nearby Universities providing for students to come and interact and care for the residents, which makes for really excellent learning for the students and wonderful relationship development for the residents. This is really the highlight of the center, because even though some of the residents do not receive visitors very regularly, they all are able to become friends with the students and build relationships. I recommend the Lemon Grove Care Center to anybody in the area looking for a wonderful place to live. "

"My mom is in a skilled nursing facility in Chase Care Center. The facility itself is an older building and it definitely needs upgrade. They have small rooms. My mom is in a room with another lady and it is really crowded. Most of the staff is involved with the patients. They work very hard to treat and take care of their patients. "

"I was very impressed with University Care Center in San Diego. They had a very nice facility with professional Cali-style landscaping, and a very clean interior with a welcoming atmosphere that was nothing like a "typical nursing home." They were located right next to a hospital, and were within walking distance of a very large park where the elderly could go sit with their visitors. My client had everything nice to say about this facility, from the food to the staff to his treatment - which is the most important part. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in the San Diego area. "

"My brother is in Somerset for a month and a half now. The place is very convenient, and we go there twice a day. The staff and caregiver were very nice and pretty attentive to everybody. The room is fine -- typical two to a room -- and they keep it clean. He doesn't like any of the food, and they offer 3 meals plus snacks. "

"I love this place. This is my home. The staff is my family. I kick them in the butt and tell to be nice or mama will get them. I love these people so much and there's nothing I wouldn't do for them. They are marvelous people. I was the first patient on station 2 and I love it here. They have treated me like a queen. The staff treats me like their family as well. I recommend it here. "My 91-year-old father went to Villa Las Palmas for 7 weeks to recover from injuries after a bad fall. Our experience there was really good. The caregivers were helpful, kind and polite. The facility is well maintained and very clean. My father liked his meals. My mother and other family members were there every day. We watched his therapy often. The physical and occupational therapists were especially helpful and knowledgeable. It was amazing to see Dad's progress, with their instructions and assistance. My parents appreciated every one of his many therapists and are very grateful for their expert work. I have recommended Villa Las Palmas to others and will continue to do so."

"My mom was at Stanford Court. For that period of her life and her medical circumstances, it was what we needed but I wouldn't like for her to stay there on long-term. Their rooms were like hospital rooms. The staff was excellent though. The activities director, the nurses, and the caregivers were excellent. The food was alright; however, her condition prevented her from really appreciating food. "
