Albert Einstein Residence Center

I'm staying at the Albert Einstein Residence Center right now. We're in the process of remodeling because they sold the property almost a year ago so they're remodeling everything. It's run under HUD and it's independent living. Before they remodeled, they had activities for us and they were very good. We had a service coordinator who helped the residents and did some of the activities. Everybody seems to get along well here. We have our own kitchen but when I first moved here, it was run by the Jewish Federation of Sacramento and we had a food program. We had to pay extra but we were able to get meals five days a week. When they sold the property, they stopped doing that. We're not too far from things like Target and CVS so the place is in a very good location.

Albert Einstein Residence Center is a such a wonderful facility, and it has been a great experience for us. They have activities, and they provide meals. The apartments are very nice, spacious, and very well maintained. I recommend this facility to others all the time.

I thought that the staff was very kind and seemed to care very much about the residents that lived there. My grandmother is a resident there as well as a worker at the front desk. There are activities for the residents to partake in. Another good thing that I saw and personally partook in was the food. My grandmother and I had Thanksgiving dinner at the center. I was expecting for the food to be very bad, but to my surprise it was very good. A lot of the staff ate with residents and it genuinely seemed that they were having a good time. After the meal, I talked to an older gentleman who was a friend of my grandmother. He was a military veteran and talked to me about World War II. He seemed very happy. This was seemed very common here. The center also was very clean and well kept.
