"My mother is at The Terraces of Roseville. It's decent enough, though she needs a little more care than what they can offer. I haven't been able to get into the place other than the lobby, that's as far as I can get into because of the COVID. The person who answers the phone is polite and friendly. The building is a fairly large 3-story place. They have activities for the residents, but currently they're on lockdown."

"I moved my Uncle John from San Mateo into Roseville Commons with his lil' puppy and both were welcomed with open arms. One would have thought the move would have been very difficult after leaving his home and friends that he had for years, but it wasn't. My Uncle John is deaf, even with a hearing device, but still mad many friends at Roseville Commons. The wonderful thing is you may choose to participate or not in the actives offered. The location is excellent with all the close restaurants, banks, food and clothing stores within scooter or walking distance. The real gem is the staff. They treat their residences with respect, dignity and truly care for them. They have so much patience with each and every residence. Marlene was my go to girl, but ALL staff, from housekeeping, to dining room to front office were wonderful. If there is a concern for your loved one, they will call you. After five years at Roseville Commons my uncle needed more care and sadly I had to move him to residential care. Thank you Roseville Coomons. "

"Atria was an older facility but nice and I liked it. I didn’t eat with them but I looked at the dining area. It’s close to my house, convenient and on a great location. "

"Everybody at Summerset Senior Living was very friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. They took us on an extensive tour of the facility, answered all our questions, and everything was very clean and very inviting. Then at the end of the tour, we were invited to have lunch in the cafe so that we could experience the food as well and everything was delicious. We liked the facility a lot. We saw a studio and a one-bedroom and both were very spacious with nice big bathrooms, walk-in showers that had a sitting bench, and hand shower near to it so you don't have to stand in the shower. So, everything was very accessible. There was also a little kitchenette. Everything was just very nice."

"I thought Revel Folsom was excellent. It was very, very clean and very modern. I liked the rooms. They seemed a little bit bigger than normal. They're very clean and very modern. The only thing I was confused with is they're on a point system for food. Most places serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while they're on a point system. You get so many points, and you can use the points for any time you want to eat. I was able to sample the food and it was excellent. They have a chef on staff and it's run more like a restaurant where you can order off a menu than some of the other places. The staff was very friendly. They have all kinds of activities. They have a pool so they have swimming activities and exercise around that. They also have all kinds of different classes. They have a library there so you can check out books and they have the normal activities that most places offer."

"My cousin is moving into Winding Commons. The adult living there would seem to suit our needs. The people are very nice. The floor plans were the big push. It also is close to her doctor in Mercy San Juan. So that was another big draw. It was within our price range, so this worked out well. I've only met about three of the staff. Hillary was just wonderful and so is Christine. We saw a lot of the menus. We were able to see some of the residents, too, and they were very thrilled with the food. It's close to a market so they can buy food. If she wanted to buy food and cook her own in her kitchenette that was an option. The square footage of the room made sense. She had ample square space for her living room and her bedroom, plus a patio. It's also on the first floor. My cousin has a dog, so that was important. We were able to go to an end unit, which was another plus. She can go out and take the dog out through the exit which was just right on the end of the unit, which is kind of nice. They have a monthly calendar of all the activities. You could pick and choose whatever you wanted to do or nothing. So that's kind of nice. They could take them back and forth to the store or over to their appointments, dentists, and physicians. And that was another big draw, too. All she had to do was to sign up. They had a nice bit of a theater there, a library, and a big computer room with several computers in there. The washer and dryer units were close, just right down the hall in each area. They also had a maid that came in twice a week if you wanted them to do laundry for your bedding, towels, and the heavy stuff. So that was another nice feature."

"The Landing at Carmichael looked comfortable. It's not very big, but it's all right. The staff was excellent, and it was a clean, kind of joyful place. They have an ice-cream social every week and happy hour, and the outdoor spaces were clean and pleasant. It's laid out fairly well too. Once you get to know the place, it's a lot easier to get around."

"It was very nice and good. The rooms were good-sized. They had an activity room and they explained that they had lots of activities going on during the day. The dining area was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and nice. They had an exercise room, beauty shop and a library."

"I've been here for a little while and I'm well pleased with the place. I am a happy with the decision I made. Everything is furnished, you don't have to do anything, and it seems to fit me fine. The rooms are adequate, roomy, and suite my tastes exactly. The staff is very friendly, helpful, very courteous, and nothing's bad about them so far. The food is good and there seems to be plenty of activities."

"Bear Hollow Estates Gracious Retirement is a brand-new place. It's just a complete facility; it's got everything. The people working are professionals. The facility itself is very clean."

"El Dorado Estates is fabulous. It's brand new and my mother loves it. It has a nice layout. She has a studio and it's perfect sized. Everything is perfect. She has a balcony and it's great. Everyone there is so nice. The food is really good, but their meals have times and you can't just go in when you want to eat breakfast. You have to get there at 8:00 and she doesn't make it for breakfast very often. Their lunchtime is at 12:30, which is their big meal, and supper is 5:30. She has a little kitchen with a full size refrigerator and microwave. She likes playing games like bingo, Mexican train, and beanbag baseball. They have church services, a movie theater, and a bus and they have scheduled outings a couple of times a week. They'll take you to doctors and dentists and to the casino. It's spotless, too. It's good value compared to the other ones and a little bit less expensive."

"Atria Rocklin is absolutely amazing. When our family began our difficult journey to look for Senior Care placement, we visited Atria Rocklin. Immediately, we knew it was the right place to move her. It felt so welcoming and Nate answered all of our questions. After making the move, we are 1000% certain it was the right decision. Everyone cares deeply for the residents and their families. I have personally spend many hours among residents and staff. Residents are happy and treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Employees are happy and they work as a team. Dana is the Director, and she is just as likely to be in the trenches as any other employee. And that is what makes Atria Rocklin so special. Employees work so hard but still always smile and have unbelievable patience. The common areas are clean and there is always attention to safety. The rooms are individually decorated to suit each resident. Food is carefully prepared to offer variety, portion, and healthy options. Desserts are so yummy! Our family member was very reluctant to leave her home of 60 years but she has adapted well and is loving her new home. I credit Atria Rocklin for making this transition easy for her. Our family is now so relieved she is in a wonderful well maintained caring environment."
