"The people are so friendly. We are comfortable. The people who work here should feel good about their work. We love the putting green, the garden and its flowers. We like the food, we have lots of choices. We are looking forward to using the jacuzzi. "

"The tour experience at Oakmont of East Sacramento was excellent. The staff was very forthcoming with us as far as our budget and what they provide. She took us all over the place, and we got to see different kinds of rooms. She was very knowledgeable. She knew all of the guests' names. I thought that was pretty impressive. It was like going to the Hilton Hotel. We did get to see some of the activities were set up, and it looked like a lot of fun. They had the 12 days of Christmas, so in each room, they would have a different activity to do, and that looked like a lot of fun. They had a movie room. All the cupholders had candy canes and bottles of water in them, all ready to go. It was beautiful. You're going to get pampered there."

"We found a place for my dad. It's called Campus Commons. It is very nice. They have lots of activities. My dad is in an apartment where he could live independently, but they do have a continuum of care should he require more care in the future. His apartment is nice. It has a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small kitchen -- your basic apartment. The place itself is in an off the beaten path in a wooded area, so it is safe if you go for a walk or something if you want to do that. When I was there, the staff was fabulous. They were very friendly and welcoming. I know my dad hit it off with one of the secretaries there. They're both from Kansas, so they enjoy chatting. All the staff that we came in contact with was very friendly. "

"Carlton Senior Living center (off Fulton Ave): Very clean and well kept facility with independent living, assisted living and memory care options. Folks seemed happy to be there, nice wall of employees who have been at the facility for 15-20 years as employees. Nice that meals are ordered when seniors need rather than limited by certain meal hours. Central location of Carlton center. Appreciated efficient tour of center by Innes. I felt safe, like a haven from the hustle/bustle of surrounding area. Nice plan in place in case someone falls e.g. on site RN, and paramedics."

"Bear Hollow Estates Gracious Retirement is a brand-new place. It's just a complete facility; it's got everything. The people working are professionals. The facility itself is very clean."

"It was like I was walking into the lobby of a beautiful resort! My husband and I are touring many facilities in the area before we decide where we will take her. We have to be very choosey or she will say forget the whole idea! . She is reluctant to move but I think she will love the feel of Summerset as soon as she walks in the grand entry and will feel right at home in the spacious apartment as it is big enough for many of her personal things. The staff was friendly, the residents seemed cared for and I am looking forward to bringing mom in for a visit."

"I moved into the Landing at Carmichael. The meals are wonderful. I like the people. The staff and the residents are great. They're very friendly here. They take you to the grocery store or wherever you need to go. It's very convenient for a person to live here. They're very hospitable, as they will make it the way that you need it. The facility is very clean. There is a garden courtyard. There is an area where you can go and smoke. They have laundry facilities on the premises, as far as washers and dryers go. There is a barber, a beautician, and a manicurist who come. I can say everything's here that a person would need."

"Excellent, professional, caring, my mom had been to another care rehab facility about 10 yrs ago. She couldn't stand it and demanded I get her out within hrs of arriving. She is being treated so well here. I don't think she wants to ever leave. "

"I really liked Winding Commons. It was very clean and very welcoming, and the size of the apartments appealed to us. It was larger than some of the others. The person who toured us was great, very friendly and informative. Everybody's in their room because of COVID. My mom used to live there about 15 years ago. It was a very nice place, and I got the same sort of feeling during the tour. There were activities like in-room bingo and things like that. It's totally different with COVID, but the staff showed me the activity schedule that they normally do, and there's a lot going on for people who want to participate."

"We toured here. The location is what I liked the least, but that was the only thing. They have a salon, a reading room, a little entertainment room, and outside a get-together area. I found the size of their rooms and quarters to be excellent. It's new, so it kind of has all the bells and whistles. They were comparable size-wise to the other place I toured."

"My friend is a resident of Carlton Senior Living Davis. It's very nice and very well-kept. I believe she is well cared for. She had a little dog for a while who has died now, but they helped her take care of her little dog. She said they have a nice Christmas tree up now to see. The first time I was there, we had lunch with her, and it was very good food, very nice to have the food just served to us. Her personal space is quite small. She went from a large home, but she seems to be doing fine. The staff is very friendly and welcoming."

"My first impression of Lodi Commons Senior Living was very good. The grounds were very well kept. They were mowed, and the bushes were trimmed. The inside, the lobby, and the common areas were clean and well-kept. The apartment I looked at is move-in ready, clean, and well-kept. The staff members were very knowledgeable. They'd been there a long time and knew what they were doing. Some of the people I saw were playing a game that kind of looked like dominoes, although I don't think that's what it was, and then some ladies were playing a card game. All the people seem relatively happy and excited to be there."

"This facility provided outstanding care for my mother for over two years. The Caregivers were attentive and caring understanding her difficulties in hearing and her cognitive decline. Has mom transitioned into Hospice, the care and communication with the family was compassionate and comforting. The owner is very engaged and always available to answer questions."

"Very nice facility. Friendly and cohesive residents. There is a genuine feeling of belonging here. Food is chef prepared restaurant style served from a menu of choices for all tastes. Staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to see that amenities and activities are varied and well suited for the population. Location is very convenient to area shopping and entertainment. Shuttle service is available for shopping and/or medical trips. Revel also provides 10 Lyft rides per month included in the rent. All in all, a great place to live."
