My dad has been at Fairwinds in Spokane's assisted living for almost 2 months now. It's a really nice place. He likes it a lot. They have different things that he can do there, and the food is really good. It's like a restaurant, so he just goes in and orders. They have a menu and everything. He gets to interact with other people, which is really nice. They have various activities he can do. They have a physical therapist to help if they need help. They take them for rides on the weekend in their little bus just to get out and see the scenery. They have a very friendly staff. They interact with him, and my dad keeps saying that they all know his name. He's in a studio, but it seems bigger. It's got high ceilings, a nice little view outside, and a little kitchen. He really likes it there, and he's really thriving now. He's much better since he's interacting with people; he looks much better.

I visited Fairwinds-Spoken and my husband said that the gym set up on the top floor was very good. The staff did a great presentation and covered all the bases. The place was very clean, easily accessible, and had wide open spaces.

I liked everything about Fairwinds - Spokane, the food, the environment. It was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was very courteous, kind, and helpful with information. They served us lunch. It was prepared by a chef and it was very good. It was excellent food. It was very clean. It was a very large facility. The one complaint would be it's a little too big for people to get from point A to point B.

Fairwinds - Spokane was very, very nice. It was upscale. They had like a coffee shop and different things in there that were a little bit fancier than the other place. It was three levels. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My mother-in-law was impressed with the living atmosphere. It was almost like walking into a fancy hotel. It was very polished and very plush. The people were very friendly. There were a lot of people milling around visiting each other. There was a lot more going on there than there was at the other place. I did not try the food, but I looked at the menu, and the menu looked delicious. They had a gym, a movie room, a hair salon, and areas where people could gather and play games. They also did outings. They had a calendar of events of different things that were happening. Like every Saturday night, they had a pianist that would come in and play in their lobby. There are a lot of things going on there. They also gave my mother-in-law flowers that day, and that made a big impression. The facilities were very, very well kept, and very nice. The rooms were very spacious, too.

My mother is in Fairwinds-Spokane. They had both independent living and assisted living. They have both independent living and assisted living. She's in assisted living. That place is very nice. The fees are cheaper than the memory care. They also have workers from the outside coming in. They have PT and OT come in, if you need it. They have LVN to give meds if you want that for your parents. They have assistance with bathing and assistance with toileting. They have a really nice dining hall and lots of activities. We like that place. She still has a room there and was living there, until five days or so when she went to rehab. She's in a studio. It has a bathroom and a kitchenette.

I was able to do an in-person tour at Fairwinds in Spokane. It was very good, very thorough, and they were very nice people. They offer meals, transportation, cleaning, and whatever you need. I saw their apartments and they have a two-bedroom with two bathrooms. Their one-bedrooms have different sizes, and the bigger the apartment, the more it costs.

Fairwinds Spokane is a very nice facility. The dining room is combined for assisted living and independent living together, so that felt positive. The food is good, the decorations in the rooms are nice, and they have a cap on the assistance prices, which is at $2,700 max. Some of the other places do a la carte and the prices can go up, so that was a factor. The staff is very good and really nice to deal with. They have some activities, but my mom was in isolation for the first few days until she got her COVID test.

My father moved into Fairwinds - Spokane. They've just been great to work with, considering the pandemic, we're allowed to go see him for the first few weeks, just to make sure he's coping OK with the change. But then after that they have a no visitation policy, which I could totally understand, because of the pandemic. They haven't had any issues there. They've been great, the staff has been great. It's a very clean, beautiful building.

Fairwinds - Spokane was a topnotch place. Everything's very good. The staff was good, and the rooms were nice. We're interested in the one and 2-bedroom apartments, but they had studios as well. They have a lot of ability to get out and about and take you places and do things. They have an exercise room and card games.

My mother is at Fairwinds. They have everything we need. I didn't care for the price, but that can't always be helped. My mother is receiving the care that she needs there. The food is very good. For what they have, I would say the value is a three because it is not really within my mom's means.

My mother has put a deposit down at Fairwinds. My impression of it is very positive. The whole place is clean and very nice. It is very welcoming from the minute you walk in. They showed us a one-bedroom and then we visited a friend who was in a studio. The dining area was very clean and beautiful. The menu looked nice. The people seemed socially engaged. We saw the exercise room, the exercise equipment, and the trainer in there. There were people playing board and card games.

I visited a friend in Fairwinds in Spokane and the place looked very good. I just did not end up going there myself because it was too expensive for me. I was also concerned about taking my dog there. It was a little bit fancier than I'm used to. They take the residents to the symphony, and I think that's very nice. I saw everyone in the dining room and everybody seemed to be happy there.

Fairwinds Spokane was wonderful and feels like you're at home. It's very clean and smells good. I have eaten there and the food is over-the-top. The price is my only problem. The staff was very personable and does a good job. They do all the activities, like movie nights, Wii bowling, and have parties every so often.

I toured Fairwinds - Spokane. It was a nice facility and what I saw was pleasant. We looked at a 2-bedroom and it had two full baths, but they didn't have the nursing home part. The people that assisted me were very pleasant and they made contact with me afterwards. They're very professional and I didn't have any complaints about them. They're not very far from where we are presently. The dining area was nice looking.

Fairwinds was OK, but it would be expensive to live there. It's a lovely, fairly new facility. I especially liked that they had two-bedrooms with two full baths, but I didn't think it was very large.

Fairwinds – Spokane is very nice but very expensive, and we couldn't afford it. The people were great and nice. They had a lot of amenities and everything you could want. If you were a doctor or lawyer, you could afford it.

My very intelligent father-in-law; "I've never felt lonelier than I do here." Once they get you to sign, and pay - you realize the care is less valued than the cosmetic look of the place. There are a few standout staff members - thankfully. Overall, the level of care is not up to par - we have to be an advocate to ensure our loved one gets the care he is paying dearly for, and deserves. Communication breakdowns are common and concerns are met with a defensive air. UGH

When you visit Fairwinds you see many things for yourself - how beautiful and spacious and modern it is; people enjoying activities and visiting with eachother; Fairwinds staff smiling, greeting and even hugging the residents as they go about their business. . . But what you might not see, yet, until your loved one moves in, is how very much the people at Fairwinds care about your loved one. They quickly learn every face and name, are always helpful and happy to see them, and honestly love being there with them. They will do anything they possibly can to make your loved one feel comfortable and happy at Fairwinds. They are experts in their fields, even to the point of saving a life, as they did Mom's. It took my mom awhile to adjust to what she called "the home", and fought to dislike it, but it is impossible when you are surrounded by so much love and attention. They softened her heart, and she loves her new forever-home.

My mom has received wonderful care from the wellness staff. The kitchen staff and all others are very caring and helpful. The transition is tough and can use mentor for newbies. Overall, after being her for a few months, my mom seems comfy.

Fairwinds was very nice. Our concern was that as your health deteriorates, you have to transfer to a more assisted level. They have shuttle services, 24/7 nursing staff, and a physician that is outside the residence, not on-site.

We chose Fairwinds because we like the look of it. It was well maintained with modern decors. We like the apartment that they have available for my mother-in-law. It is a two-bedroom with two baths. It is very clean. It is right by the dining hall, so it is easy for her to get around.

I didn't choose Fairwinds, but my mom did. My mom hasn't moved in there yet, but it is where she decided to move. The staff was really friendly when we toured. She was able to answer the questions that I have for her. The rooms and dining was very clean. I guess I like it because it is up to date.

My father-in-law was in Fairwinds. It was very nice. I don't think the food was good as it should be, and we had one experience when he needed medical attention; they got him to the hospital, but the communication broke, and we were never told about it. So, he was taken to the hospital and we never knew about it until two and a half days later. So, there was a lack of communication with the night staff, but that's really the only negative comment I could say about it in a year that he was there. However, the facility overall was very nice, and the staff was very nice and seemed to be qualified in all aspects. They could probably improve on the quality of food and perhaps better communication with the staff and the residents.

I checked into Fairwinds. The people were really nice. It was a very nice and clean facility. It had a nice courtyard. The rooms there were very nice. The apartments were bigger. I peeked in the dining area, and it looked nice and bright. It seemed like they had a little bit more activities. They had a pool so they can do exercise. It’s just they didn’t accept Medicaid so that’s why I didn’t go there.

My parents moved in Fairwinds in the last part of May. It is a fairly new place and I like that it is more like a hotel than assisted living. They have a restaurant where you can actually go in and order different types of food. The food is very good. The rooms are nice. They are painted nicely and they are in pretty good size. The staff seems to like the job. They are really nice people. They have activities like cards and other types of games. They even have a happy hour. They also have a valet car service and stuff like that.

Individual attention after move in to get Dad comfortable with the place was very good. Continuing encouragement to join in dining and other many assorted activities is good and low pressured. After 3 weeks, still liking this place. It comes highly recommended by a couple I know that have lived there 4 years now.

Newer facility that backs up to Walmart. Nice rooms with big closets. Staff are very nice and very understanding. The food is great. Families come to 'grandma's for dinner; the price for family is reasonable. I can't think of a single negative thing to say. My experience with my relative living there was excellent.
