"I toured Trustwell Living at Ridgeview Place. I like the facility. I like the activities that they offer. They had a lot of community-type activities that were good. Some of them use a studio, and I don't think I saw a one-bedroom there. Some of the studios did not have a sink in the kitchenette area, and some of them did. So the lack of a sink was something I didn't want. They serve three meals a day. The person who gave the tour was very kind. He knew what the place offered, and that was really helpful. The information he could give out was very helpful. They were encouraging that even when I told them we chose the other place, he was really happy that we found a place that mom stepped into and very supportive of that."

"I liked that Brighton Court Assisted Living and Memory Care allowed pets and the atmosphere was very nice. It was calm and homey, and clean. There were some ladies in the living room when I came in and they seemed fine and happy. I talked to a couple of the staff and they were very nice and I felt very comfortable. "

"This facility has recently come under new ownership about 2 years ago. The rooms have recently been remodeled and the atmosphere is a great change from when we visited the first time in 2013. The staff are bright, cheerful and care about those they assist, the food was great, they have a great activities program and overall our experience was above par. I would definitely send my loved one here when the time comes. "

"We are leaning towards the Gallery at Spokane Assisted & Senior Living because of its price. While it was high, it had much better amenities compared to other places. We also liked the fact that it was a true age in place. If Dad potentially needed to move from independent living to assisted living, he would not have to move to a different room or a different building. They could provide either of those services in the apartment that he would rent. The apartment was impeccable. It's brand new, so it's clean and bright. It's very well laid out. It is updated and modern. We looked at their menu offerings and it exceeded the others. As opposed to the others, which had set eating times, or were limited to one meal or two meals per day, you can go down at the Gallery at Spokane Assisted & Senior Living at 3:00 in the afternoon and get a sandwich if you want from the bistro. You are not restricted to any particular dining area or any particular dining time. You get three meals and I liked that the dinner has a selection of entrees. We saw the gym, the hair salon, the common areas, and the outdoor spaces, and they were all lovely, well-designed, open, bright, and airy. We really liked having the nice concierge up front. It felt like an upscale condo/apartment or hotel that I would gladly stay in. The only thing that made it seem like it was for senior citizens is the handicapped accessible bathroom. Otherwise, it wasn't like some place my grandmother decorated. They were also very informative and easy to talk to."

"My father is at Cherrywood Place. The manager and head nurse -- Janet -- runs an excellent place. The place is clean and organized, but they just don’t have an exercise room, and I think they need one. "

Its a Godly, loving, caring and protective place for all people regardless of age and their limitations. We provide a friendly safe and home environment to both our residents and their families. We also encourage participants of events like Christmas, thanksgiving and not forgetting different anniversaries and birthdays for our residents. "Wellspring Meadows is a great place and a nice facility. The people are very nice, and the residents were also very nice and comfortable. It was more like a home setting than a hospital. They cooked them breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They take them out for drives, they do bingo, and people come out from the church and sing for them. They have their own little rooms. It?s pretty nice. The food was really good; they were home cooked meals that they prepare and give to everybody; my grandpa liked it. It?s a good place and very comfortable. My grandpa fell in love with it as well as us. "

"Life Care was very nice, and as home-like as such a large building can feel. The staff were obviously a little over-worked, but still very kind. "

"My mother-in-law lives in Peterson Place in Hayden, and they've been wonderful. They've had some COVID cases there, but they keep us updated since we haven't had the chance to visit. She is doing really well there. The last time we visited her room was very clean, and she's very clean, so she's being well cared for. She's been there for years now and the staff has been wonderful to her. The food was good the last time we visited. She's been thriving on it. The whole facility is very well-kept and very nice. I have not seen any activities but I'm looking forward to spring because they got "The Blessing Bike." They got into this competition with other places in Idaho, and they were gifted blessing bikes. They're bikes with a seat on the front, then somebody gets behind you. It's really nice because we're only about a mile away from the lake, so as soon as the weather gets nicer, we can ride her down there where there is a bike lane. She is not very active, and she doesn't walk around anymore, but the staff gets her up so she doesn't just stay in bed all day. The price is perfect for what we can afford."

"My mother has already moved to The Renaissance at Coeur d'Alene. It's really nice. They have food and she's getting 24-hour care right now. They have activities every morning, they also have a schedule. They provide three meals a day. I haven't eaten it, but it looks pretty good. They have good staff. It's pretty expensive, but it's pretty good."

"A loving friend of mine was admitted here. The entire situation has been heartbreaking. There is very little effort from the staff to help and assist her do things, and very little interaction. Aside from the necessary assistance, there is no attempt from caregivers to engage themselves with her. Many of The caregivers behave in a manner where what they’re doing is just an inconvenient chore, rather than out of care for the person. The actual care itself seems to be lazy and incompetent. She’s lifted and transferred in a lazy manner by multiple caregivers, and she’s actually been dropped once already resulting in a bruise (which will be addressed by other friends to the proper agency). There is a lack of expediency when it comes to issues within the room and with care. Examples include a toilet running issue that took multiple days to address and they still haven’t tended to other things like her television box. After many months, she still isn’t able to flip through channels and watch the shows she likes. We are talking about a basic amenity here!! There have been multiple times to address problems with her call button, and when it is working, it can take help an excessive amount of time to get there. When going to the bathroom, she is left on the toilet alone to the point where her bottom starts to hurt, and she has to call out saying she’s done. I could list more examples, but you get the idea. Bottomline, she seems to be treated like an inconvenience who they are required to put up with. That’s the main feeling I come away with in all of this, and the one big point I want to stress in this review. It really is heartbreaking seeing my friend reside at this place. "
