"This facility has recently come under new ownership about 2 years ago. The rooms have recently been remodeled and the atmosphere is a great change from when we visited the first time in 2013. The staff are bright, cheerful and care about those they assist, the food was great, they have a great activities program and overall our experience was above par. I would definitely send my loved one here when the time comes. "

"When my father could no longer take care of himself, we found a room at this facility. The staff was amazing! For two weeks while my father was dying, these people took care of him and allowed him to die in peace. They were very friendly, and took pleasure in making my dad, and his family, feel right at home. I can't say enough about the kindness that was shown to us ... something I will never forget. "It was the only one within our range and her physical ability that had an opening. The staff seem very friendly and know their job and what was required of them. The room she is going to move in to is very open, has lots of storage space, and is accessible to the restroom. They have bible studies and music coming in, games, puzzles, and exercises."

" I moved my husband here after he was booted out of the previous facility for his bad behavior. He was welcomed here, with open arms. After all many Alzheimer’s patients have bad behavior, but the staff must be trained on how to deal with it. After being at Generations for a short time, his bad behavior has disappeared. Why? Because he is receiving good care from people who have affection for him. They tell me he is very sweet and polite. I’ve seen, (and smelled) a huge difference in him now that he’s here. He seems content and comfortable, which gives me peace. "

"Wellspring Meadows is a great place and a nice facility. The people are very nice, and the residents were also very nice and comfortable. It was more like a home setting than a hospital. They cooked them breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They take them out for drives, they do bingo, and people come out from the church and sing for them. They have their own little rooms. It?s pretty nice. The food was really good; they were home cooked meals that they prepare and give to everybody; my grandpa liked it. It?s a good place and very comfortable. My grandpa fell in love with it as well as us. "

"My mother-in-law lives in Peterson Place in Hayden, and they've been wonderful. They've had some COVID cases there, but they keep us updated since we haven't had the chance to visit. She is doing really well there. The last time we visited her room was very clean, and she's very clean, so she's being well cared for. She's been there for years now and the staff has been wonderful to her. The food was good the last time we visited. She's been thriving on it. The whole facility is very well-kept and very nice. I have not seen any activities but I'm looking forward to spring because they got "The Blessing Bike." They got into this competition with other places in Idaho, and they were gifted blessing bikes. They're bikes with a seat on the front, then somebody gets behind you. It's really nice because we're only about a mile away from the lake, so as soon as the weather gets nicer, we can ride her down there where there is a bike lane. She is not very active, and she doesn't walk around anymore, but the staff gets her up so she doesn't just stay in bed all day. The price is perfect for what we can afford."

"Life Care was very nice, and as home-like as such a large building can feel. The staff were obviously a little over-worked, but still very kind. "

"I was referred by a friend to look at Living Springs because I was looking a place for mom. When I first walked in, it felt very homey. I was looking for a place with a fireplace and that was the first thing I saw. It felt very comfortable. The people all looked very happy. The residents that were already there looked very happy so I was really taken by that atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and caring. They were very willing to show me around and to tell me what they could provide. They seemed very happy with their work. The rooms are very clean and decorated the way that my mother would have liked and its comfortable. They have a very big library. They had a sun room where they have exercise equipment for the residents to use. They have TVs and card tables setup. They also have a calendar of activities posted for the residents. "

"We toured Garden Plaza of Post Falls for my parents. Everyone was friendly and the residents were all saying, "You want to move here" as we were going on the tour. We were just a walk-in, we didn't schedule an appointment, but they took us right away. And then when we were able to do a more thorough tour, they took us on everything. We loved the garden. My dad wants to be able to go outside, but we can't have him outside, and they have an inner courtyard that you can go to, and it's just beautifully cared for. And so, they can do that. They have the meals that are there that meet my mom's needs. They've got a variety of sizes of apartments that supports what my mom's looking for. They have, not only a doctor but a dentist on-site as well, along with the rest of the amenities that are there. And they do a lot of extracurricular-type things. When we were there, people were coming back from horseback riding. I thought that's good because you need to stay active, and especially with my dad being active. So, it was just a lot of those little things. Val and Tamara were wonderful. And what made them that is the fact that even though we were just walk-ins, they immediately took us on a tour. They made time for us, and they get back to us. And they were also kind. On the second time that we took the tour because we had a little more time, they took us up into a little conference room area where we could sit down and have a good conversation about what we were looking for. They took the time to understand what it was we wanted so that they made sure they showed us exactly all the things that we wanted. And then a few other things, like they said, "Well, you didn't mention this, but based on what we're hearing and seeing from you, we think you would find this good," and they were right. Everything is way better than in some of the places we toured. I wouldn't have even thought of some of the stuff that they've got."

"My sister is in Life Care Center of Post Falls. They take good care of her there, they're friendly staff, and she's safe. She has a shared room and it's nice and clean and they have a nice bathroom. It seems to be doing just fine. They are very accommodating. They help with cutting the food up smaller, and they give her extra large pieces of foam to go on her utensils. The place is nice and very well-kept."

"A loving friend of mine was admitted here. The entire situation has been heartbreaking. There is very little effort from the staff to help and assist her do things, and very little interaction. Aside from the necessary assistance, there is no attempt from caregivers to engage themselves with her. Many of The caregivers behave in a manner where what they’re doing is just an inconvenient chore, rather than out of care for the person. The actual care itself seems to be lazy and incompetent. She’s lifted and transferred in a lazy manner by multiple caregivers, and she’s actually been dropped once already resulting in a bruise (which will be addressed by other friends to the proper agency). There is a lack of expediency when it comes to issues within the room and with care. Examples include a toilet running issue that took multiple days to address and they still haven’t tended to other things like her television box. After many months, she still isn’t able to flip through channels and watch the shows she likes. We are talking about a basic amenity here!! There have been multiple times to address problems with her call button, and when it is working, it can take help an excessive amount of time to get there. When going to the bathroom, she is left on the toilet alone to the point where her bottom starts to hurt, and she has to call out saying she’s done. I could list more examples, but you get the idea. Bottomline, she seems to be treated like an inconvenience who they are required to put up with. That’s the main feeling I come away with in all of this, and the one big point I want to stress in this review. It really is heartbreaking seeing my friend reside at this place. "

"My mother is in Guardian Angel Homes for a couple of months. It's very nice. They've done an excellent job for us; they've been very helpful. They call or e-mail quite often to keep us updated. She seems to enjoy it. We have never been able to go in there, just because of the Covid rules at this point. She seems to be very comfortable in it. They seem to have activities in the afternoon, and couple times they've taken a few people out for like a little drive. So, seems to be good. I think that they do a good job. After talking to some other places that were a lot more money, I think this one is pretty reasonable. She's in the assisted living, but she does have her own apartment, just by the community the house that she lived in. I thought it was very, very nice. People are very nice to work with, and she seems quite happy there."
