The Best Assisted Living Communities in Flathead County, MT

"We have already selected it. It's fabulous. We're really impressed with it. The staff is wonderful. They have been really great to us as far as showing us around, giving us any information we need, and letting us come back and look again. I'm really pleased with it. It is the only one that was in Kalispell and it is near where I live, so it is absolutely perfect for my father. The menu looks great, the dining room is beautiful, and everything looks clean. As we walked around, everybody came and introduced themselves and talked to Dad; it was really nice."

"My dad is in memory care of Edgewood for two and a half months. They're very aware of Dad's needs and are meeting them. They communicate with us and have an open-book policy. Dad's happy. Their dining room is very clean and welcoming. Dad's room is very comfortable and has its own bathroom. The staff was wonderful, loving, and very knowledgeable of what they're supposed to be doing. "

"When I visited Buffalo Hill Terrace, it was all great, but a little more expensive than the other place I visited. The rooms were super. I saw a 1-bedroom, and another that's just like a studio. They have a lot of activities, a swimming pool, exercise equipment, and all that. They gave me a list of activities. They also showed me a library, it's bigger than the other one I saw. They have a little store. It's a bigger place but has a lot more people there. They have parking, but you have to pay for it. The facility looked good."

"I had only visited this facility one time so i will try my best to re-call my experience. It didn't remind me of a hospital or the typical nursing home. The colors seemed fresh and more modern and the outside was kept in a very neat appearance and there was several outdoor seating areas,which i admired. It had a "homey" atmosphere. The residents seemed to have a lot of independence and there seemed to be lots of activities to keep the residents occupied ( Bingo seemed to be very popular that day). I also believe they offer shuttle services to the residents so they can do their own errands. Some nurses seemed extremely nice and professional, others did not seem as welcome to having a lot of visitors. I did not eat there, but it smelled decent. Assisted living facilities can be, and often are depressing and lack luster, but this seems to be doing a good job at trying to make it a happy place for the residents to live. "

"My mother-in-law moved into Renaissance Senior Care. I liked the person running it. I liked that it was small, so possibly better care given that there are not as many residents. It was the only place that we could get into. Their staff has been great. The building is not brand new, but they keep it up. They have some kind of activity on their own. I noticed that there's a calendar with times for what they're going to do. They have something planned."

"I've got mom in Beehive Homes of Columbia Falls for three or four months now. It fit her budget. It's very nice. It's well taken care of. The staff is friendly and they've been really supportive of her. There are lots of things they do inside the home. They go to the senior center in Columbia Falls once a week. They go to the library once a week. They take the residents down to the Dollar Store and some other shopping, pretty much whatever they would like to do. It's run very well. She's really enjoying it. The food is very good, and they've got a nice and clean dining area. I haven't seen any issues with any of that at all."
