"Alderwood Manor is easy to get around and the people are very helpful. I'm happy with the service that Mom is getting. They do bingo and they have daily activities. She's happy with the food. They have a nice selection and the dining area is fine."

"My sister-in-law is at Rockwood South Hill and I go up there a lot. It's expensive to get into. You have to outlay a tremendous amount of money to be able to get in. I have a lot of friends that live there and they have private homes there. It's a beautiful community, but you have to buy in and there's a long waitlist. It's a five-star place if you can afford it. It's a luxury full service but it's for life because once you're in, you go all the way through until death. You're there forever. You never move out. The staff is very friendly. They go over and above. What I like best are the restaurants. They have different levels. They have great big 3000 square foot apartments and small ones. The atmosphere is outstanding. The layout is sprawling."

"I have moved into Touchmark on South Hill. I've been here about six weeks now. It's a beautiful place. The grounds are lovely. There are places to walk and to walk your dog, but I think the most important thing is the staff. They're very accommodating. They have church services. It's very good, and I would recommend it to anyone."

"My dad has been at this facility twice for recovery after surgery. The therapy is top notch and the nursing staff was very caring and supportive. The recent renovated rooms are spacious and very nice. I would definitely take any family member here for recovery! "

"North Central Care Center is good. They got my dad better. They made him walk and exercise. He was so debilitated he couldn't even move. Now he can walk. The staff was fine and helpful. Whatever activities they had, my dad didn't do them. But it wasn't their fault. He's just wasn't very sociable. The rooms were nice and clean. "

"My loved one loved Royal Park and was there for rehab for a month. He loved the people and nursing staff there because they took good care of him. He loved the food. It was great."

"Been here 4 weeks. 3/4 of staff are great. Occupational and Physical Therapy personnel and shower girl very good. 1 bad apple in physical Therapy. Many mix ups on medications. Fell out of wheel chair once due to staff error. Failed to be served any meal twice. Poor response to call for assistance 50% of time. Staff responsive to complaints after the fact. Do not go there without strong advocate. Much room for improvement. "

"Rockwood at Whitworth is fine. My dad's room and the staff are terrific. He doesn't participate in activities because he can't hear. He wanders the halls sometimes to talk to people, that's about it. They got a fairly big facility, so he walks up and down the halls. He doesn't go outside much really. The facility is terrific. They have cable, a community TV room, and some stuff that he doesn't do much. They're also limited now because of all the protocols that they have to follow via the governor so they're not going outside much anymore as a group. They can go to doctor's appointments but with just going out to shop or whatever, they don't do that right now. I get weekly updates from them. I also talk to him every day so I get updates from him too. It's expensive but it's good."

"My brother is in long term care and does share a room with another resident. They are very well matched. My brother is so happy here. I live out of state, but when I call for an update or with any potential need for my brother, the staff is always ready to help. The staff always make me and my family feel welcome to call and ask for help. My brother needs help answering the phone. The staff are always happy to go to his room and make sure he is ready to pick up a call from family. Originally, my brother didn't want to be in an assisted living situation. Now he doesn't want to leave.I can't say enough about the attention to details and personal touches that the staff give to the residents. Thank you to each person who spends their day helping the residents with their daily living. We appreciated you!"

"Cheney Care Center has a good staff-to-patient ratio, so the residents get one-on-one time with the staff every day. The nurses and other staff members are attentive and kind. Any problems that arose were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. As a volunteer, I interacted with many residents and all of them had positive things to say about their living situation. Even particularly difficult patients being looked after with patience and consideration. "

"This place is an outstanding facility to re hab in. Clean, fairly good food, wonderful staff. Nice hard working nurses,excellent P/T and twice weekly on site doctor who knows what she's doing. I highly recommend it. "

"I'm in here and it's ok. We're about three or four blocks away from a big shopping mall and about 4 to 6 blocks away from downtown. It's just a convenient location. It's homey, it's clean here, the staff is friendly. It's a good place to live out your days. I have a single room where I'm by myself. The windows open up, it's a good-sized room. They let me hang whatever I want, I keep it comfortable for me. I like the painting, it's a beige color, it's bright. They want the family to do activities with us. I'm very happy where I'm at."
