"My grandmother is at Sunshine Gardens in Spokane Valley. They've been great. I was in there to see her when our mom passed away and they've been phenomenal for us. I saw her room before moving in through Zoom. The staff is great, they are very informative, and I talk to them every other day. She's doing some therapy, which is good for her, and they do whatever the daily activity plan is. They modified it, just a little bit, but she has something to do every day."

"I am a daughter of Them. My Dad was a resident of Sunshine Gardens 2 times .He is very happy and super comfortable with all staff. My whole family is very appreciated everything the staff did for my dad. From the office to social workers, the therapy staff, the doctors, the nurses....they are all very professional, helpful and taking care my dad so good with their hearts. "Been here 4 weeks. 3/4 of staff are great. Occupational and Physical Therapy personnel and shower girl very good. 1 bad apple in physical Therapy. Many mix ups on medications. Fell out of wheel chair once due to staff error. Failed to be served any meal twice. Poor response to call for assistance 50% of time. Staff responsive to complaints after the fact. Do not go there without strong advocate. Much room for improvement. "

"For the past two years I have been the contact person for person who was legally blind and receiving dialysis three times weekly. I visited on average about every ten days during that entire time I never saw or heard anything negative from my patient nor from anyone else I encountered at the facility. The room was always clean, the staff respectful and helpful and even extended themselves to accomodate my needs in reference to my patient. I absolutely would recommend this facility to anyone needing their services and would choose this facility for myself should it ever become necessary for my own needs."

"Rockwood at Whitworth is fine. My dad's room and the staff are terrific. He doesn't participate in activities because he can't hear. He wanders the halls sometimes to talk to people, that's about it. They got a fairly big facility, so he walks up and down the halls. He doesn't go outside much really. The facility is terrific. They have cable, a community TV room, and some stuff that he doesn't do much. They're also limited now because of all the protocols that they have to follow via the governor so they're not going outside much anymore as a group. They can go to doctor's appointments but with just going out to shop or whatever, they don't do that right now. I get weekly updates from them. I also talk to him every day so I get updates from him too. It's expensive but it's good."

"Sullivan Park Care Center has proven to me to be a very solid place for our loved ones to get care.   My brother, who is 72 and a dialysis patient has just completed an extended stay there after spending 15 days in the hospital, eleven being in ICU.   The care at Sullivan Park was thorough, kind, and simply good.  From the individual care my brother received to the real concern the employees demonstrated consistently.  They went above and beyond what we expected.  They made special arrangements for my brother to get physical therapy because he had to leave the premises for his dialysis.  They arranged transportation for him when his Paratransit rides got messed up twice.   It is so nice to have a place where we can trust our family members to when time of great need occurs. My wife and I read poor reviews and having such fear our elderly father won’t receive the care we desire for him we were very jaded my dad wouldn’t get the care he needed. We were wrong, this facility more the other patients and employees were all so respectful and supportive. We felt so much love and compassion, we came to support our dad and ended up with other patients as friends and staff members we idolize at how great they do their jobs and include us in dads recovery. I am very awestruck at everyone at Good Samaritan Society - Spokane Valley. Many many stars to all of them. Thank You so much."

"Cheney Care Center has a good staff-to-patient ratio, so the residents get one-on-one time with the staff every day. The nurses and other staff members are attentive and kind. Any problems that arose were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. As a volunteer, I interacted with many residents and all of them had positive things to say about their living situation. Even particularly difficult patients being looked after with patience and consideration. "

"My brother is in long term care and does share a room with another resident. They are very well matched. My brother is so happy here. I live out of state, but when I call for an update or with any potential need for my brother, the staff is always ready to help. The staff always make me and my family feel welcome to call and ask for help. My brother needs help answering the phone. The staff are always happy to go to his room and make sure he is ready to pick up a call from family. Originally, my brother didn't want to be in an assisted living situation. Now he doesn't want to leave.I can't say enough about the attention to details and personal touches that the staff give to the residents. Thank you to each person who spends their day helping the residents with their daily living. We appreciated you!"

"My wife is at Ivy Court. It's pretty good. She receives high level of care. I got to know the people very well, and they took very good care of her. I made some good friends. A couple of times the staff gave me something to eat, like on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they were good meals. They have an activity department, and they provide music, movies, popcorn, ice cream socials, puzzles, drawing classes, and coloring classes. They would ask my wife if she wanted to go to the music or whatever. They don't force anybody to go and do any of these things, but they always went around and asked people if they wanted to do it, and those that did, they would make sure that they went to it. The physical facility is in dire need of remodeling. It's an old building. They have two maintenance people, but they have a hard time keeping up with everything. But I would have to say that they make sure that everything that needed to be running was running appropriately."

"I'm in here and it's ok. We're about three or four blocks away from a big shopping mall and about 4 to 6 blocks away from downtown. It's just a convenient location. It's homey, it's clean here, the staff is friendly. It's a good place to live out your days. I have a single room where I'm by myself. The windows open up, it's a good-sized room. They let me hang whatever I want, I keep it comfortable for me. I like the painting, it's a beige color, it's bright. They want the family to do activities with us. I'm very happy where I'm at."

"he EDC oh of this facility does not care about resor wants providing only the bare minimum for which is required by state. continuously jokes at the expense of residents about the meds they take and complaints they make followed up with a. I really shouldn't joke like that comment. he lacks the leadership Skills Needed. to provide good care to Residence. this review comes from observation.. this facility has had eight Ed's in the last 3 years..."
