North Central Care Center is good. They got my dad better. They made him walk and exercise. He was so debilitated he couldn't even move. Now he can walk. The staff was fine and helpful. Whatever activities they had, my dad didn't do them. But it wasn't their fault. He's just wasn't very sociable. The rooms were nice and clean.

Like any business, some of the staff is good and others not so much. But overall I would say that most needs are ignored. The patients are left alone and forgotten in their rooms. very little empathy from the staff. The food is unbelievably horrible! Absolutely everything is canned or processed. No fresh fruits or vegetables. Ever! Very sad. I am very disappointed and saddened. Especially because my sister is on Medicare/Medicaid and has very little options. So here she is in a place that is understaffed, overworked, and not given the tools that they need to succeed in their jobs. I do believe the employees may have tried at one point but give up because of exhaustion and poor working conditions and it is the patients that suffer.

North Central care is an assisted living facility located in Spokane Washington. When I visited there, I was impressed by the professional demeanor of the employees as well as the apparent satisfaction of the patients. It became clear to me when I volunteered there that the patients were treated with respect and dignity, which they obviously deserved. I will always remember several of the patients there telling me how much the staff cared for them and how it made them feel during a hard time in their life. The facility itself is in the northern part of Spokane across the street from North Central high school. This is a relatively nice area with a low crime rate, and little traffic. The building which houses North Central Care is a state of the art assisted living facility, and the amenities provided to the patients are as well. I can honestly say that North Central Care is the best assisted living home I have ever seen.
