My dad has been at this facility twice for recovery after surgery. The therapy is top notch and the nursing staff was very caring and supportive. The recent renovated rooms are spacious and very nice. I would definitely take any family member here for recovery!

The morning/day time staff was very kind. The evening and late shift are rude. They allowed someone to fall out of their wheelchair and then laughed and blamed it on an illness saying they will be okay. If your looking for a great skilled care facility don't look to St Joes. Be sure you're loved one's are in the best care possible.

This facility is not fit for anyone even a dog. I have never been so poorly treated in my entire life. Medications were given when the nurse felt like giving them out. I was in so much pain and the nurse didn't care and would deliver meds 1 1/2 hours later after begging for them. Food was a joke. Always cold, always made like dog food. My room mate had open sores and the nurse would come in say he forgot something and leave the sores exposed for hours until he came back to change the dressing. The ONLY good thing about this place was the PT dept. Kudos to them for sticking it out in such a horrible environment. If you are thinking about placing a loved one here, I'm begging you PLEASE DON'T!

The facility has newly remodeled rooms that are private and very large and adequate to family visiting. Initially there were a few issues with some of the staff, it was very quickly dealt with and we ended up with a close family like relationship with many of the staff. They provide daily activities as well as physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapies all developed to the individuals needs and preferences. I would recommend any family member to St Joseph care center, not so much because of the excellent care but their ability to adjust and make things the best they can be.

Do NOT leave a family member or loved one here. Call lights go hours without being answered. The patients are left lying in their own filth, calling out into the hall for “Help” that doesn’t come. The best of the staff is uncaring. The rest are rude and belligerent. Patients are not given basic medical items they need such as a wheelchair with legs, a commode, or a walker. Requests for these items are ignored. The food is cold and not edible. It is prepared elsewhere. Quite often there is not enough food for all the patients. Patients who were unable to feed themselves went without food unless other patients helped feed them. Personal hygiene -- showers, shampoos – are not provided by the care team. There are no toilet wipes. You have to use wash clothes for cleaning the diaper area of your family member. The dirty wash clothes lay around the room stinking for days. No one (unless the family does it) comes to clean the room in any manner. There are no doctors or Physician Assistants on staff. These are just a few of the concerns we had with the treatment of our 90 year old mother.

My mom was a short term resident at Providence St. Joseph Care Center for about 40 days. It was fine, warm, and friendly. The staff was professional and kind. I never had any trouble with them. The new rooms were very nice and well thought out as far as access to the bathrooms. It seemed to be a very nice renovation. There were lots of activities that my mom was interested in, and they were spot on. My mom liked some meals, and there were some that she didn't.

The facility is nice. The room was large with a good sized bathroom.. They have a room for celebrations and events. The patient food looked average. This is a challenging choice for the uneducated patient and family. We made our decision based on a past experience. Should not have done that. I feel the patient and family needs to have the ability to fend strongly for themselves in this facility. Asked to talk with the executive director because of frustrations, excutive director must have delegated to social worker(s) Do your research, walk the halls, greet staff & patients, ask questions, meet with the doctor(s) and have a second choice in mind just in case your first choice does not work out. This was mid 2016.
