Texas Comfort Care Home is a private residence. It is a great community for my mother. They've got people there all the time. It is neat, clean, well-kept, and smells good. They said that they can take six people, but they only have five, and they are not going to bring on that sixth person. The room is just a regular, normal room that has been set up for that type of care. There are three bathrooms, and they have all the safety features. I checked them, and they are licensed and certified by the state. The owner is good; her name is Geraldine, and they call her Gigi. She seems to be a really nice lady, and she seems to be concerned about all of her clients. The staff in general is pretty good. They all tend to the people; they don't just put them in a chair and leave them there. They can play games, walk, and get involved in them. They go to dinner once a while, and they all go out as a group. They play cards and Bingo, and they have arts and crafts, like coloring and connect the dots. I have eaten there once, and the food was good. They have a staff that cooks in the kitchen, so they actually cook everything there.
