"My mom was at Cibolo Creek, but she has moved now. It was pretty good; my mother was very happy there. The staff was great and nice. The dining room was nice; it’s four chairs per table, and it was huge. They have a calendar posted for everyday activities. They have bingo and lottery. They need to get the business director to create answers and questions to family members when she doesn’t even know what’s going on. "

"Carechoice of Boerne is a nursing home Medicaid facility. We walked through it. It looked a little less like a hospital than the other one we looked at. It's smaller and has a more compassionate feeling. It was better than the other facility. The staff we met was very nice."

"Absolutely beautiful facility. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. As a nurse myself, I was looking for a place that would fulfill my standards for my loved one. This place files the bill and then some. "

"I really like Trinity Mission. The staff was great, they gave me a chair, and they had an activity director; they were just actually exceptional and interactive with the patients. They showed me the assisted living section. They gave me a whole tour, and the director was very informative. The dining is upfront; to me, it was more like a home. A little more homier, it wasn’t funky, but it wasn’t like it couldn’t mess things up. The nurse’s station was right in the area where all the patients were. I thought that was there, so that they can keep an eye on the patients. They had lamps on the doors. Everybody was interacting with everybody else. The rooms were smaller but nice. Security and safety was good. "

"My mom was there for 2 years and received great care. I was happy with the nurses, CNA's and all the staff were very caring. They handled all special, requests we had with rapid response and a cheery attitude. My mom spent her last days there after an extended stay in the hospital and we were treated with a great deal of love and respect. My mom often told me it was the best place she could be at. Thanks for all the great service."

"Everyone here has been very nice and helpful in taking care of my Aunt. From the Director to the Activities Director. The facility is always clean, and her laundry is done daily. She loves going out to lunch once a month (prior to Covid-19). She has been at this facility for almost 2 years, and has not come across anyone that did not treat her right. I could not have chosen a better facility for her care."

"I feel that this assisted living provider is very nice. My grandmother is a resident there and she seems very happy. I always observe the facility being clean and the nurses are pretty on top of everything that is going on. They put on plenty of resident activities, especially around holidays. They hold mass and she loves it! It seems that the nurses are very caring for her. The meal choices are amazing and she eats most of her food. She gets to interact with others her age as well. I am very satisfied with this facility. At one point my grandmother got very sick and they were great help during that time. They called an ambulance and a representative met us at the hospital. They sent her get well soon cards which made her feel much better. She was happy to return "home". I would definitely reccomend Recent Care to anyone seeking nursing, rehabilitative, or assisted living. They are wonderful! "

"My mom moved into The Enclave. More or less it's good, but there are issues sometimes. My mother fell about five or six times, and they just go to the residents to check maybe every two hours. They don't monitor them. Sometimes I ask them for something, like compression socks or an extra mat for my mother because she tries to stand up from her bed, and after a month and a half it didn't happen. No socks or mats. Some patients have to wait about 45 minutes to get their food, and I dont know why they take so much time. When the residents there need something, like a Kleenex or coffee, there is nobody there. If there's someone there, they don't care or they don't listen to them. The rooms are very good though and they have a beauty salon."

"My mother was at The Heights On Huebner. She spent a month there in rehab. They're great quality service and good people, but they're expensive. It was nice, clean and professional. For activities, they brought in animals to visit and they allowed the residents to interact with them closely but not well enough because they were little touchy animals. It was a good break for some of the people that had been in there for a while."

"My dad is in Bridgemoor for rehab. It's very good. So far everybody is very happy, and everything's fine. One of their big selling points is they have very good food. They used chef-prepared food, but our father doesn't like the food; he doesn't eat much of the food. We're having a hard time inspiring him to eat the food that they have there. They do allow our sisters to sometimes bring in something homemade from home, like meatloaf or cookies. He has physical therapy, he stopped occupational therapy because he doesn't need that, he is able to groom himself, brush his teeth, and wash his face. He needs help showering, and getting in and out to the bed or shower. The outside of the building is fabulous, there's trees, it's a beautiful building, fairly new, it's clean, well staffed, and everybody seemed on the same page in doing everything we asked them to do for our dad."

"I have visited one facility named Huebner Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. I was impressed because the facility is well run. It was friendly. I didn't find anything wrong with it except that I'm not sure about the price. We only went into the common area and into the administration office. It was clean, and it had a good odor. It was up-to-date, and it was relatively nice looking. The best part of the community is that it is friendly and clean. "

"Remington Medical Resort was very good. It was a very nice place. My husband had gone to Remington, and I went over there to visit him. It was carpeted and clean. The people were cheerful, and it was bright. There was like four nurses to four rooms, and they were always sitting outside. If you need them, they come in right away. The food was really good. I could spend a night and bring my dog. It was perfect. We liked it, so I went to check it for my mother also, and it was still just as nice three or four years ago when I took my husband there. I would recommend this facility. "

"My mother entered this center in mid January. I was very nervous about putting my mother in an center especially with covid. It became unavoidable and after much research I choose this center. I am so glad I did. From the very beginning my mother has nothing but good things to say about all of the staff. She says everyone is so nice to her. Everyone from the Administrator to her daily CNA have always been so nice to me . No matter when I stop by they are always friendly and do what they can to help me. Whether I'm visiting inside or at her window they are always so kind to me and my mother. Thanks Guys for being so kind!! "

"The staff is sensitive to individual patients daily living needs. They helped place my brother in a room that gave him a window view which improved his mood and helped him adapt to his new living environment. Patients eat in a spacious dining area that encourages everyone to interact together and build relationships. The Nursing staff is attentive, friendly and supportive. Family members are encouraged to participate in regular care plan meetings for their patient."

"I went to this facility to find out more about it for my mother. It was a bit hard to get into it, as its located on a busy road, (Wurzbach), but aftter I got in there its a nice, pretty clean facility. They have a neat courtyard and gazebo, and it seemed the residents were enjoying themselves as well. My initial thoughts were that this may be a place for my mom when she gets to the point she needs quite a bit of supervision, but not much on the being a independent living home. One thing I liked as well is they have a ala carte menu that residents can order from. I will be looking for something else that my mom can stay in and be independent still, but I will keep this one in mind very much for the future. "
