"My mom is at Knopp Nursing and Rehab for her therapy. She is a double occupancy right now, and her side of the room has two big windows and the ability to pull a curtain for privacy. She has a large closet; it’s very nice. The food is great, and the dining area is big with lots of windows. The staff is very professional and very courteous as well as very friendly. They are always offering suggestions. They have lots of different kinds of activities. She does bingo. They have church services that she goes to. They also have musical events where sometimes a lady just comes to play music or a cowboy comes and sings. "

"It was a very nice facility; my grandmother seemed to enjoy it. It was very well kept and the staff came to help very quickly when it was needed. They give us the freedom to take people outside to enjoy the weather and play a game, or really do anything. The other residents also seemed to like the place, as it seemed nobody was complaining or anything. The food seemed pretty good, as my grandmother, a picky eater, seemed to enjoy it.Staying there was nice also, they had televisions, magazines, newspapers, and much more to do while waiting for relatives to get up, eat, change, or really anything. This factor really did make visiting much more enjoyable for me and others. In general, it was a very nice community and facility, the staff was great, the food was good, everyone was nice, friendly, and happy, and it just seemed like a genuinely good facility. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nursing or assisted living home. "

"My mother was at Bandera Rehabilitation And Health Care Center for a month. They didn't have enough help, but the people were very nice and tried their hardest. When people call for help, they wait a long time. You hear people calling and screaming for help. The facility was OK and had enough room for everybody. They had a dining room and activities every day. They didn't have enough aides to individually take care of them. They had taken her to the dining room in her wheelchair and thought that she was staying there, but a patient caught her going out the front door. There was no security at the door. I asked them to put an alarm on her wheelchair and they never did. Some of the food was very good, but they give things to people at night that older people shouldn't be eating. She's been there twice. It was better a few years ago."

"My sister is a resident of this home. Unlike other nursing homes, I can walk in to this home without hold my breath. This place is super clean, and their staff is AWESOME! they work hard with their residents and they're super friendly/helpful!! They take care of the residents like there own kids. They are a 10 for me. "
