The staff in Knopp is awesome and wonderful. It's a very clean place without an odor. There are several times that if I call my dad and he doesn't answer, I can call up there and they'll tell me that he's in either the dining hall or visiting with one of the other residents. If there is any kind of incident, they would call me to let me know what's going on. They play bingo, card games, dominoes, exercise classes, and have people come in to play music. He's in a single room and shares a bathroom with another gentleman, and they shower down the hall. My dad likes it there and loves the food.

Absolutely horrible. Knopp had a door propped open & allowed my Dad to ‘get out’. He was lost for a period of time. Later learned there was no alarm on door as there should be & wanderguard on my Dad's wheelchair didn’t work. Knopp’s solution was to transfer my Dad without permission to their Memory Care unit & start charging us tons of money (for their mistake). This wing of place was filthy. Dead bugs in patient rooms, sprinkler heads painted over (fire hazard), black substance coming out of air vents and more. Would you want your loved one in this? We moved my Dad within hours. That’s a place of HORRORS.

My mom is at Knopp Nursing and Rehab for her therapy. She is a double occupancy right now, and her side of the room has two big windows and the ability to pull a curtain for privacy. She has a large closet; it’s very nice. The food is great, and the dining area is big with lots of windows. The staff is very professional and very courteous as well as very friendly. They are always offering suggestions. They have lots of different kinds of activities. She does bingo. They have church services that she goes to. They also have musical events where sometimes a lady just comes to play music or a cowboy comes and sings.

I have my mother and mother-in-law at Knopp Nursing and Rehabilitation. A lot of people from my hometown have used it and were satisfied with it. The people I've met there were very helpful, and it's convenient for us also. It's close to a hospital. It's usually two to a room. The staff is pretty good. Sometimes, it seems like they are maybe a little short-handed, but they've been very helpful. The food is very good. They have something going on all the time over there. They have music, birthday parties, bingo, and dominoes. They do crafts, and they play with rubber balls and kick them. The best thing is probably the attitude of the personnel.

I didn't like the environment at Knopp Assisted Living Center, it was not joyful, kind of dark and cold. They have a dining room and the food is good, more of like in a hotel, but my father-in-law is already a little tired of the food. My mother-in-law has a very big bedroom but when you walk inside, you can feel the odor of a hospital.
