The administration have provided a more structured and finer establishment with a new manager. Sometimes, places need to get rid of the poor work ethics and bring in quality personnel. The environment is very clean, the residents are happy and the rooms are comfortable to live and have staff perform their duties. I will be placing my loved one here in the care of Waterside Nursing & rehabilitation.

I visit and provide transportation to a parishioner who has thrived in the past year within the supportive and caring environment of Waterside. I see improvements over the previous ownership of this facility. Kind staff managing the diverse patient population.

My dad has been at Waterside Nursing and Rehabilitation for more than 2 months now. It's a very good facility. It's a locked-down facility. He's doing very well over there, but he's too far from me. Their pricing is great, and the staffing is great. Their staff is very nice and very responsive, and they're very friendly and personable. The food is not great, but it's decent. I've seen activities going on. They need to improve the quality of the food. Also, the overall aesthetic of the facility could be nicer. It's not the best looking right now.

They abused my mother in law, twisted her ankle until she screamed and yelled at her. My brother in law caught them. She was heavily sedated. They nailed her windows shut. The place was filthy. She developed severe bed sores too. Please dont send your loved ones here. She would have died if we didn't bring her home.

Edgewater was terrible. My husband was there because of a water leak in another place. The place was not too bad but not very good, either. They were not very professional, and they actually called and threatened me. They did not give my husband his medication. It was not a good place to put someone.

Edgewater Care Center is a full service nursing home facility. In the past, it was well rated. It is in a good location. I understand they have completely remodeled the inside. I visited the patients in the wing for Alzheimer's and it really isn't a very pleasant environment. For Alzheimer's patients, I could not give it a very high rating.
