My mother was at Bandera Rehabilitation And Health Care Center for a month. They didn't have enough help, but the people were very nice and tried their hardest. When people call for help, they wait a long time. You hear people calling and screaming for help. The facility was OK and had enough room for everybody. They had a dining room and activities every day. They didn't have enough aides to individually take care of them. They had taken her to the dining room in her wheelchair and thought that she was staying there, but a patient caught her going out the front door. There was no security at the door. I asked them to put an alarm on her wheelchair and they never did. Some of the food was very good, but they give things to people at night that older people shouldn't be eating. She's been there twice. It was better a few years ago.
