Everyone here has been very nice and helpful in taking care of my Aunt. From the Director to the Activities Director. The facility is always clean, and her laundry is done daily. She loves going out to lunch once a month (prior to Covid-19). She has been at this facility for almost 2 years, and has not come across anyone that did not treat her right. I could not have chosen a better facility for her care.

The Heights of Bulverde has just hired a new director for the section, so there is better supervision than before. They had no director of nurses and stuff, so they did what they wanted to do. I visited my mother there. What I like least is the communication issue. They don't communicate well between nurses and directors, and down to the clients. The food was good. The staff members are good when they are doing their job, but sometimes they don't give me a call. They notified me late after the fact. Sometimes they don't clean very well. They have balloon activity, play bingo games, and sometimes they go out. They did well on activities. They have a roommate.

My dad is living at The Heights of Bulverde. It is clean. The staff members are friendly. The patients are smiling, and they seem to be happy. The food is excellent. We have nothing but good things to say about the place. For us, it is convenient because it is ten minutes from my mom's house, so she can visit him on a daily basis. For us, that's of the fantastic things about it. The other thing is that it is a brand-new community. There are plenty of nursing staff members for each wing. It is in an H shape, and there is one registered nurse, and two CNAs for each wing. They have good staffing for the patients. There are religious groups that come for spiritual instruction, and they have music, and sing-a-longs. The staff members are very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very helpful. The place is clean. They have regular cleaning staff there. It also doesn't smell; it has a good odor.
