I use Mystic Park for respite care with my mom. The staff in her unit is amazing and it puts me a ease to know that my is being well cared for when I need extra helping hand. Amanda and Cassie are so good with my mom and my mom is happy when she comes home so I know she is being well cared for. The disease she has is a difficult one and it is not only hard on her it is hard on the caregiver. Knowing that my mom is being well cared for takes the stress out for me when

My husband and I evaluated the facility on the possibility that I might need rehab after surgery. The facility seemed to be run extremely well. The individuals that we dealt with were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Based on my experience I would recommend them.

If I could rate a minus star I would. There is only a handful of staff that are caring. The room was dirty and the drawers still had items from a previous resident. This place was very neglectful toward the elderly and is supposed to be "assisted" care. The only time I saw people checking on the patients was only when a supervisor was present. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very inconsistent as well as administering meds. Not to mention my loved one was almost given the wrong meds more than twice while in my presence. This not only resulted in more severe illness but I truly believe this is why my loved one lost their life. I'm sure this place must have it's "good" moments but sadly not while he was there.

Communication is key! When someone vital to your loved ones care leaves either by being transferred, quitting or being fired it is important for the family to know. On a happier note, they are fully staffed compared to other places we've checked out, ghost towns. And the main thing is that Mom is happy their. We love the covid precautions they've taken to keep mom and the other residents safe.

They also owe my family money. The care they gave my relative was horrible. The staff seemed annoyed and unhelpful. Keep an eye if you choose to use them.

when families get over the issue that nursing facilities are unable to provide the same one-on-one care they received at their private home, they can begin to see the quality and dedication of the staff. Perhaps a kind word or compliment would get one further than a continual drip, drip, drip complaining or nit-picking. Perhaps if one walked in a CNA's shoes for a season they would develop an appreciation in lieu of fault-finding. People find it easier to complain than compliment. Why? Mystic Park has that quality nursing staff that cares for your loved one. I understand that a third party does the food and housekeeping, which is mediocre at best. Families need to know this and vent their displeasure accordingly. Give suggestions on how you would do it. Volunteer and see how you can improve the operations. Mumbling, murmuring never solved any issues. Become an active participant in the healthcare solution.

I was a resident at mystic park rehab. We had to put down 1000.00 for co pay. My insurance paid 2000.00. So now Mystic park rehab owes us 870.00 now they have to investigate that I was a resident. This was 6-19-18 and we still dont have our money. Be careful people you may not get your money. We have our check and duplicate copy that we paid. Today this day we have not gotten our money. This is not how you operate a business. Very unacceptable. Stealing money from people. I call every say to see if my check came in and the answer is always no. They have no cooperation office to call. It's a hot line to make a complaint and they say we will have to investigate. Its wronged people. Take your beloved family members else where so they dont steel their money.

This staff was amazing. From Belinda helping with Financials, POA papers, Marisol and Hilary checking in on us constantly, and that's on the admin side. The nurses, Robert, Danielle, and Rene were very patient (we were a little difficult) with us and our mother. This is a very difficult time and you question every decision when choosing a facility for your mom. This was the right choice and I hope they know how much we appreciate the hospitality. Hilary be proud of your staff abs thank you.

While visiting a resident at Mystic Park, I observed,on several occasions, that the staff needed to be reminded to dispense medication, to put the resident on oxygen prescribed by the doctor, and forgot to take the resident back to their room after dinner (leaving the resident alone in the cafeteria long after the cafeteria was closed.) When this concern was brought to the attention of the management staff, they quickly dismissed it as a minimal concern. The management staff is rude and uncaring. They are more concerned about how you're going to pay them, than the well-being of their residents.

An uncle of mine used to be at Mystic Park, and the programs they have available include hydration program, wake up program, and supposedly activities for dementia people. The staff was pretty friendly for the most part, but my dad said that one of the CNAs was not very friendly to my mom. It was OK. My mom didn’t like the food, and all she eats she will order. I find the environment very boring.
