About The Forum at Lincoln Heights in San Antonio, Texas

The Forum at Lincoln Heights, located at 311 W Nottingham Drive in San Antonio, Texas, provides residents with Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services in a beautifully maintained, campus-style setting.

The community spans approximately 15 acres of landscaped grounds in the upscale Lincoln Heights neighborhood, featuring a blend of residential buildings, gardened courtyards, walking paths, and shaded outdoor gathering spaces.

Apartment options range from studios to one- and two-bedroom floor plans, many with features such as kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and walk-in closets.

Inside, The Forum supports a full complement of amenities and services to enrich day-to-day life. These include restaurant-style dining, a beauty/barbershop, fitness center, library, private dining rooms, and concierge services.

Rehabilitation services are available via their on-site FOX Rehabilitation partnership.

The memory care program employs Five Star's "Bridge to Rediscovery" model, providing specialized support, structured routines, and safety features tailored to residents living with Alzheimer's or dementia.

Common areas and programming are designed to promote engagement and connection through social events, wellness activities, cultural outings, and resident clubs.

The community also offers transportation services for shopping and medical appointments, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance support.

Adjacent to the campus, residents benefit from proximity to local attractions and conveniences. Among the most notable is the Alamo Quarry Market, a repurposed cement plant turned lifestyle center with restaurants, shops, and a movie theater—just a stone's throw from The Forum.

The location also provides easy access to downtown San Antonio, major medical centers, parks, shopping districts, and cultural venues.

I visited this facility

I went to The Forum at Lincoln Heights. What I like most about The Forum are the amenities that it provides. It was clean and the location is close to shopping and churches. There's a covered heated pool where they do exercise. The staff is very knowledgeable and concerned about things that my mother likes.

The Forum at Lincoln Heights is an excellent facility and they're well-staffed. My mother has been there four times, she likes the place, so it's her preferred place. It's very comfortable, very clean, and very professional. It's topnotch. They're still in lockdown, but they're good with what they're doing. They're making arrangements now where you can go in for a short visit if you've been tested for COVID, or if you have to go through a PPE training process. Otherwise, all you can do is bring stuff for your loved one or mail, and they will just come out and bring them to the patients. You can go into their cafeteria or something like that for a short period of time, say only for 30 minutes. They're excellent. As far as their staff handling the insurance, the staff that books people into their long-term care, everybody has been professional and things are smooth as silk. She likes the food.

I visited this facility

The Forum at Lincoln Heights was very nice. The activities and everything else looked pretty nice. However, the interior seemed dark and wasn't as cheerful a place as several other places that we had visited. The other thing is that they have the old air-conditioning and heating units. It's a good location, which is in an older part of town. I love the stately old oaks around it and that it's in a rolling area. The topography is very nice there, but the space was limited.

Mom was at The Forum at Lincoln Heights and it was a wonderful place. The staff was awesome. They were very caring and wonderful people. The food was great and the dining area was really nice. They have happy hours where they listene t music a couple of times a week, and they play Bingo and cards. They really take care of their residents. They have a pool and a library. For an elderly person looking for independent living, this is the best place.

I visited this facility

The Forum at Lincoln Heights was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t see very many residents out. The rooms were clean and comparable to others. There was a variety of rooms that you could choose from.

I visited this facility

I enjoyed The Forum at Lincoln Heights, had a positive experience, and liked everything about it. It was spotless and like a resort. They had a chef, a formal dining room, and everything you could want. They had plenty of activities going on.

I visited this facility

I have placed my mother at The Forum. They have more services and their facilities are nicer than places I have previously looked. She’s in rehab. It’s very, very secure.

I looked at The Forum, and I liked it. I thought the outside was gorgeous. It's in a beautiful part of town. It's very nice, but from where I live, it is a long way away. At the time, my father was living and had my mother move to their memory care unit. He was not permitted to join her for meals and meals were important to my family, so that would not have worked for us regardless. There were 2 very separate facilities. I saw the dining room and it was nice. It's a very nice-looking facility, so I would expect nothing less.
