I like Meadow View Assisted Living. I thought it was nice. The food was pretty good. I liked the people there. They did a good job. They were very kind and helpful. I had lunch with them. They had spinach, chicken, mashed potatoes, and cornbread. It's good. You had your choice of water or lemonade. I liked it. The place was spacious, and the rooms looked fine to me. They looked a little bit small. I wished they were a little bit bigger. In this particular facility, you share a kitchenette and a bathroom, but that's okay with me. I don't mind that.

I wss mislead by director about activities to come. Promised 3 new washers at x-mas. We got 1.So 1 washer w/ blk. Mold i reported 1 mth ago 1 new. 2 run dn. Dryers for 80 residents. That flr. Leaked heavily for 6 mths. Filthy dining room flrs and carpeted hallways. Never got garden club promised at x-mas. Maintenance gave few flowers then took them back. Poor staffing.half employees don't wear masks even preparing food.I had (mold) in room w/ severe allergy.In Er w/in few hrs. Of moving into Meadow view,on 100mg. Of benadrl daily.Now anti-fungal tabs 2 wks. W/ lessions,rashes, itching, ahotness of breath, then throat and tongue swelling past 2 wks. Only mold does to me and pcn. No transporation w/ van here since 1st of yr. Positive:peaceful area safe outside.8 beautiful cats. We lost the most efficient, friendly employee 8/1/2020. She had to do several others work while they smoked heavily or played around. And she took time for us w/ sincerity. Needs remodeling, better food, follow through...i am leaving by choice w/ no where to live yet do to allergic reaction here and follow through issues. 😔

I visited Meadow View and was impressed with John, the Director. He was very involved with his staff and the residents in the community. As a visitor, I felt very comfortable and welcomed by the staff i encountered.

My grandmother had needed some help after she started to develop dementia. The staff was so nice and caring and made her feel right at home. Since it is located on Medlin drive in Arlington, I was able to rent an apartment that is right down the road from her. The staff once again is amazing and she truly loves it there.
