"We have chosen Iris Memory Care for my uncle because they specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia. They have been attentive to his needs and follow all Covid regulations. He seems to be very happy there. He enjoys the food. He is eating and he is actually gaining weight. They have various activities, too. The thing that I like is that they encourage him to come out of his room and participate. The facility is very clean and the rooms are nice sized."

"I toured Signature Pointe. They have very nice and courteous employees there. The people that live there are very nice and friendly. The whole environment looked very clean and very nice. The apartments were nice and clean. They had a lot of space. They always had something going on which was good. I enjoyed that. They have a nice lake outside. You can see the ducks and all that, so it's very, very nice."

"My brother in law was a resident at Metroplex 8/08-2/12. He received very good care. He resided on the Secured unit and was always clean and the activites were support. My family and I attended the Resident's council. This group helped us understand the rules and regulation. Some families expect one-on-one and that is not the case. We would go back again if services for LTC are needed again. Thanks Metroplex!!! "

"My mom's room at Encompass Health Rehab Arlington was fine, it was clean. The staff there was very nice and they provided her with rehab. They didn't have any activities because of the COVID, it was just rehab. I tasted the food and it wasn't bad, but she didn't really enjoy it. They can get awfully expensive, but Medicare is paying for it."

"I moved my mom to Townhall Estates in Arlington in May. After having my mom in another facility. Townhall Estates is so much better. Where in the other facility my mom wouldn't eat but here at Townhall Estates she eats good. The room is spacious enough that we could bring some of mom's personal items to make feel homey. The nursing staff is very patient with mom even though she gives them a hard time with her hygiene care. I can't say enough good thing about staff from the housekeeping to the administrator. Signed by one very happy daughter."

"I'm in Greenbrier Healthcare Center. The staff is fantastic. They're helpful and supportive. The staff, from the administrator, all the way down to the housekeepers are just pleasant, friendly to be around, helpful, and very supportive of my physical therapy because I'm learning how to walk. The food is OK. It's not the greatest, but they're working on it. They're accepting suggestions from their patients. Right now, they're having renovations. They're painting. They're putting down new floors and stuff like that, so everything's a little bit in chaos, but it's very clean. The housekeepers are always coming in, cleaning the room, sweeping, mopping, and taking care of the bathrooms and stuff. We have a lot of activities. They have an activity room that we can all go to. They have different games like dominoes or cards. They have trivial pursuit and they have puzzles. The activities director has set up with the Texas Rangers baseball team for us to go to a free game and we're going to be doing that on Thursday."

"The staff is the crown jewel of this facility. Not the managers or leadership, but the nurses and CNA's, and the PT's! It was clean and well maintained. The interactions with the staff were the best, I did not meet anyone who was not caring and kind. There were no activities other than group therapy. It is a beautiful facility, Food was OK. "

"I admitted my aunt to The Villa at Mountain View a few weeks ago. It was clean and had no odors. The staff was nice and friendly and seemed to genuinely care about her well-being. My aunt celebrated her 97th birthday while she was a patient and the staff bought her a cake and sang happy birthday to her. That gesture truly made her day. The Rehab team was great too. They worked with my aunt every day and she showed great improvement. My family and I were very pleased with our experience and allowed her to transition to a permanent patient. "

"I was in rehab over at Gateway Post-Acute Care at Arlington Villa for a month, and it's wonderful. The other side is for assisted living and retirement, which was not that great. The rehab is in a newer area and it's good. The rooms are nice, clean, and just great. It's strictly for post-acute care. They're single rooms. The physical therapy gym is there. You just stay there and it's like being in a hospital except it's not a hospital. They have nurses and you get all your medicine. The staff and the services were excellent. The whole experience was excellent. Everybody's so nice, even the office workers. They speak walking down the hall. The rooms were bright. They've got a little window where you can get fresh air, but they've got big windows as well. It's like a hospital room, only it's bigger. You get a huge bathroom and you can take your wheelchair in. The staff, the nurses, and the aides were wonderful and they did their job. There was a little dining area, but I always ate and stayed in my room. The food was the least impressive part of it. It was not delicious, it wasn't done by a chef, but it was OK. It was down to earth food. I certainly enjoyed the rehab gym. They've got equipment and the therapists were wonderful. They have OT, physical therapy, speech therapy, and memory therapy, all of which were really nice. It was all new where I was, but the other side (Arlington Villa), was old. I went to church at a chapel over on the other side, and I would not want to stay there. I would recommend Gateway to anyone."

"I stayed at this facility 23 days for rehab due to a broken fibula on my left ankle. I must brag about the fantastic staff that took care of me during my stay. Absolutely wonderful people! The staff should be recognized for the ongoing care, patience, knowledge, positive attitude. I could always depend on the staff for expert performance. The staff always put my needs first. This was my first time to undergo surgery for a broken bone and I couldn't be happier staying at this facility. It made, "my first rodeo" one where I made new friends and was under the care of such caring professionals. The rooms are spacious and handicapped friendly. Very clean and kept clean by the fun loving housekeeping staff! The Physical Therapy staff is one you can't beat! Tammy and all the PT staff go well above and beyond your expectations/needs! What a great team they are! I'm still amazed at the knowledge and the many different treatments they have at their fingertipss! The facility gym is very clean, organized, well equipped with everything and more for rehabilitation! I HIGHLY recommend Interlochen Rehab in Arlington! You won’t find better care!"

"My family was in the process of transferring my grandmother out of this building. There is a wonderful lady name Sherise the Director of Nursing that made me and my family a promise to correct any problems and shortcoming that we experienced. Horrible nurses that are no longer there and the treatment of my grandmother within a 2 week period I admire this lady for keeping her word and making sure that my family was informed and given great service. My grandmother remains in facility and Sherise is a GOD send. Thanking her for turning a negative to positive"

"Duncanville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center was willing to help. The rehab center itself is more geared toward stroke patients. The staff there are pretty good; they're great. They tried to accommodate my mother and all her needs, and they were willing to learn about different and new patients. I haven't heard her complain about the food. She's in quarantine. I haven't been in there, but just by looking through the door, it's nice. I'm getting what I pay for."

"I chose Manorcare Health Services for my mom because it was close to my grandmother's house and I knew some people who used to work there and she referred them. The rooms were clean, big enough for two people and she shared it with another resident. The staff was very good, professional and they communicated with you. I had been pleased by the care she got because she gained weight since she moved in. I liked that the staff interacted with the family member and they contacted me before they did anything to her. Every month they called and gave an evaluation. I had not eaten there but she seemed to like the food. I thought that she needed more activities for stimulation because she was a high-functioning individual. "
