"We have chosen Iris Memory Care for my uncle because they specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia. They have been attentive to his needs and follow all Covid regulations. He seems to be very happy there. He enjoys the food. He is eating and he is actually gaining weight. They have various activities, too. The thing that I like is that they encourage him to come out of his room and participate. The facility is very clean and the rooms are nice sized."

"I toured Signature Pointe. They have very nice and courteous employees there. The people that live there are very nice and friendly. The whole environment looked very clean and very nice. The apartments were nice and clean. They had a lot of space. They always had something going on which was good. I enjoyed that. They have a nice lake outside. You can see the ducks and all that, so it's very, very nice."

"I've been visiting this nursing home for a couple of years and sometimes when I come in it doesn't smell so good, kind of like a man's bathroom, where urine is a foul odor. The other half of the time it smells like a body rub like green peppermint. (I prefer it to smell like that.) But it's normally when you walk through the door after awhile the smell goes away the further you walk in. The community area where everyone goes is pretty nice. It has tables and chairs spread out with a TV for watching and puzzles and games spread out on the tables. The rooms were pretty nice, just plain with white trim and flowery wallpaper. In the rooms they just had a bed, a dresser, some had portable toilets for their convenience, and some had pictures and flowers from, I'm assuming, friends and family while others did not. The staff was pretty nice and very helpful. Overall I would say this is a good place. "

"Park View was average, it was not too clean, but not too dirty either, and the lobby does not look like a lobby. The food looked OK. There were a lot of people sleeping in the wheelchairs. It seemed very crowded. "

"This facility truly cares about their patients and families. My grandmother is very happy here and constantly raving about the activities they have for their residents to participate in. The ONLY complaint I hear now is about the food. But it honestly doesn't matter who made the food she thinks it's too salty. Understand she says that about my food as well. However recently she has been given less choices. She previously was allowed to select a burger or grilled cheese after dinner But those choices are no longer allowed now. I do want to mention her nurses and caregivers. They are amazing and she loves all of them and I'm grateful for the care and love they give to her. Most importantly she is HAPPY here. And honestly that's all I really care about. "

"The staff here is totally professional, competent and attentive. I appreciate everything they provide for my parents on a daily basis. They respond in a timely way and they are sincere about helping my mom and dad. I am extremely impressed and grateful for the physical therapy they provide. An extra bonus is the food is delicious! "

"Best: Friendly and capable staff.Worst: Old, rather drab building. The facility appears to have been built about 50 years or so ago. It's very clean but doesn't smell of antiseptic or alcohol as such places so often do.The rooms are small and sometimes there are two residents to a room. The closets aren't big enough for that. The drawers in the built in chest tend to stick. It has a mirror above that's almost shoulder height to me. The bathroom mirror is also mounted quite high up so there isn't a mirror my mom can use from her wheelchair. The facility is easy to find, a church up on the corner with the main street makes an excellent landmark and is the only other thing on King's Court. It's only two minutes to I-820. Turn the other way and downtown Fort Worth is a straight shot at about 15 minutes.Mom has had no complaints with staff but says the food could use improvement. The normal resident diet seems to be heavy on canned and packaged food products rather than produce and fresh meat. Corndogs and other fast food type fare is common on weekends. Through the week the food is classic American; meatloaf, stews and such. Mom is a diabetic and complains that the jello isn't sugar free. She recently told me that a change in the kitchen has improved the food greatly.Since mom has some trouble operating her cell phone, I often have to call her on the back desk phone. This phone is available to reach residents who don't have or can't use telephones. It is often unanswered or answered by residents. However, every time the phone is answered I have been able to reach my mom. She's happy there and has made some good friends including members of staff. They've been very good to her there including shopping for her when she needs something between family visits. The staff certainly seem knowledgable and capable. They're also efficient about taking care of her. Medication is correct and on time and when a trip to the doctor is scheduled they get her there and back without excessive waiting.Overall, Richland Hills is a safe and reasonably comfortable place for mom to live on her budget and get the care she needs as well. "I chose this facility for my mom after a friend of mine stayed for rehab. The building may be older but we have been very pleased with the care. The rehab team has worked extra hard with my mom to build her strength and all of the ladies in the offices have been so helpful in answering our medical questions. They accept Medicaid here so she will be staying. This place is ran very well and I'm glad we made this move. "

"I stayed at this facility 23 days for rehab due to a broken fibula on my left ankle. I must brag about the fantastic staff that took care of me during my stay. Absolutely wonderful people! The staff should be recognized for the ongoing care, patience, knowledge, positive attitude. I could always depend on the staff for expert performance. The staff always put my needs first. This was my first time to undergo surgery for a broken bone and I couldn't be happier staying at this facility. It made, "my first rodeo" one where I made new friends and was under the care of such caring professionals. The rooms are spacious and handicapped friendly. Very clean and kept clean by the fun loving housekeeping staff! The Physical Therapy staff is one you can't beat! Tammy and all the PT staff go well above and beyond your expectations/needs! What a great team they are! I'm still amazed at the knowledge and the many different treatments they have at their fingertipss! The facility gym is very clean, organized, well equipped with everything and more for rehabilitation! I HIGHLY recommend Interlochen Rehab in Arlington! You won’t find better care!"

"I was in rehab over at Gateway Post-Acute Care at Arlington Villa for a month, and it's wonderful. The other side is for assisted living and retirement, which was not that great. The rehab is in a newer area and it's good. The rooms are nice, clean, and just great. It's strictly for post-acute care. They're single rooms. The physical therapy gym is there. You just stay there and it's like being in a hospital except it's not a hospital. They have nurses and you get all your medicine. The staff and the services were excellent. The whole experience was excellent. Everybody's so nice, even the office workers. They speak walking down the hall. The rooms were bright. They've got a little window where you can get fresh air, but they've got big windows as well. It's like a hospital room, only it's bigger. You get a huge bathroom and you can take your wheelchair in. The staff, the nurses, and the aides were wonderful and they did their job. There was a little dining area, but I always ate and stayed in my room. The food was the least impressive part of it. It was not delicious, it wasn't done by a chef, but it was OK. It was down to earth food. I certainly enjoyed the rehab gym. They've got equipment and the therapists were wonderful. They have OT, physical therapy, speech therapy, and memory therapy, all of which were really nice. It was all new where I was, but the other side (Arlington Villa), was old. I went to church at a chapel over on the other side, and I would not want to stay there. I would recommend Gateway to anyone."

"My husband is in a nursing home called Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation. I'm very pleased with the nursing staff there. The people are very, very friendly. I haven't gotten as much from the front office as I would like or had as much communication with them, but the nursing staff, as far as I'm concerned, can't be beaten. They're very caring, very attentive, and so watchful. If there's anything going on, they're right there on top of it, and when someone calls for help, they're right there. I just can't say enough about the nursing staff now. I've been there as early as 6:30 in the morning and stayed till as late as about 8:00 at night. I think they come on at 11 and they're there till 7 or so the next morning. My daughter met the nurse that's in my husband's unit one time, and she was impressed with him. We've got excellent care. The rooms are large. The facility itself could use an update, but it's an older building. It's also a little bit hard to get in and out of. There's plenty of parking, but a lot of it is away from the front door. I have to walk with a walker, but usually, I get to park up front because I'm there early enough. I can do without some of the bells and whistles on the building; it's the care that my husband gets that concerns me. The furniture and everything are adequate; I haven't had any problem. I'm pleased with the value for money. My husband has got a lot of problems and he needs a lot of help. Like he needs help eating, and they're right there on top of that. They're very alert to the needs of the patients. My husband is getting physical therapy, and there's a speech therapist that comes in. She comes in at the lunch hour and observes what problems we're having. They have activities. There was a couple who came in with the music. There's a lady there, and they were playing a card game, and they were painting one day. They have an activity committee. They're also very strict about people coming in with their masks. They take their temperature, and I think once a week, they test the patients for COVID. When my husband left the hospital, he had a very bad diaper rash, and the first time that this young nurse had to change him, she said, 'Oh, my,' and she went out of the room and came back with some cream. She started taking care of him and she had that cleared up in two or three days. They watched him, and I'm satisfied with the care. The facility is clean. The cleaning people do an excellent job. For an older building, it's kept very well. The food is excellent. I haven't eaten it, but my husband is eating well. He is eating better there than he did at home."

"Having to place your love in a long term facility it's never easy. After selecting dfw reheb, i feel like the family made great decision. I must admit during the covid phase , it was a difficult time for the families, staff and directors and a lot of changes were made. I am thankful for the new and improved staff. From Camesha, Racheal, Michelle, Tony, Gregory, Yolanda, Michelle, all the staff at Nurse station 2, and of course Mrs. Dee. I thank God for such a caring staff."

"Trinity Terrace was quite good. The facilities were very, very nice and the staff was terrific. They were very competent in all areas. Their PT and OT facility on the floor that I was in was small, but they had a second one on another floor that I didn't get to see (that may have been larger). The food was terrific and I gained weight. They had activities like puzzles, movies, chess, and card playing. They also had people that come in and play music, or they would bring books and leave them in the dining room area, so you could take them and read them yourself."

"Mom is at Fort Worth Center of Rehabilitation. The place is great and clean, and the environment inside is just really nice. The staff seems to be OK so far. They offer activities for their residents, and Mom played cards one time. The food looks really good, from what I've seen. This was highly recommended to us, and it is close to a hospital; that’s why we chose it for Mom. "

"I was not happy with Hurst Plaza Nursing & Rehab. My husband got pneumonia while he was there. I didn't like it. I don't think they had enough help, but they were doing the best they could. He had no activities at all. They had a room that had windows in it, and there was a whole bunch of people with memory problems looking out those windows. It was an older building, and the value was way too high for what the VA provided. The people I worked with were nice."

"The staff is the crown jewel of this facility. Not the managers or leadership, but the nurses and CNA's, and the PT's! It was clean and well maintained. The interactions with the staff were the best, I did not meet anyone who was not caring and kind. There were no activities other than group therapy. It is a beautiful facility, Food was OK. "

"My Mother is currently at Pecan Manor. The staff takes time for your questions. They are very caring and listen to your concerns. Mom enjoys the activities and tells me about the fun they have. All the residents are clean and encouraged to participate. My mom loves that she is not in the big city but more in the country."
