My husband is going to Legends Oaks Healthcare And Rehabilitation Fort mostly for rehabilitation. A family relative is staying there in the nursing home. It's a nice place. She started in the rehabilitation center, and she liked it so much that she decided to stay. We like the place. The people are very nice and informative. You ask questions, and they're very quick to answer. The place is clean and organized. The facilities are very pretty. It looks like a hotel when you go into the lobby. When you park in front of the place, they have like an extent, so when you are dropping off people, if it's raining, the people don't get wet. When you open the door, you see a big lobby, and there's a big piano in the corner, and plants. It's very nice and pretty. It has a lot of different activities and facilities. They have a therapy area like a gym, and it has machines and things like that in the rehabilitation section. They have a movie section where people can go and watch a movie or TV. They have a beauty salon or barbershop for men and women. They had another place for people who need to use their motor abilities, like hand movement and things like that. They play with different objects in there, and they draw, and it's an activity room. One side is rehabilitation, and the other side is nursing, and both of them have a nurse's station. It's very nice, and you feel like you're in the hospital. They have good lighting. It's not dark. The bathrooms are nice, and the rooms are very nice too. Every room has a shower, toilet, and sink. It's only two people per room. Some of them are private for single people. Every person has their own TV, their own closet to put their clothes, and a nightstand. It's very comfortable. It also has an inside patio that you get out and it's still inside the building, but you feel like you're outside because it doesn't have a roof. It has plants, benches, and water fountains. It's very nice. You cannot ask for more. The best thing is that for people who are low budget, they accept Medicaid help. They're very, very nice people. I have asked my mother-in-law, and she liked the food and everything there. I never heard her complaining. They celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Valentine's Day. They celebrate every holiday, and every month they celebrate the birthday of the people who are born in that month. They also have a Baptist or a Pentecostal pastor. They have services there every Sunday, and the people who are believers go to the service. For the Catholics, they have a priest that come. Value for money is OK because of all the things that they provide. They check your blood pressure. They check your temperature there. There's a doctor who comes and sees the people living there constantly, and they have nurses to do the medication.
