"We're using Mira Vista Court right now as a nursing rehab. Once my mother gains a little strength back, we'll be placing her again to a memory care facility that's a little closer to my dad and my sister. She just got placed a day and a half ago. I don't think her therapy actually starts until Monday. They're very helpful, and they transported her today to get her second vaccine dose. The staff is fine. They don't come as quickly as we'd like them when she calls for a nurse, but I understand that's pretty much anywhere she's gonna go. It's not instant response from a nurse like, push the button, "Oh gosh what do you need?" Other than that, it's fine. The food is fair. She hasn't been there long enough for me to really give a very calculated review, and I don't want to mislead anyone."

"I just love Tuskegee Airmen State Veterans Home all the way around. It felt wonderful. My husband did 27 years in the Air Force, and there were veterans there, so I think that is the place where he would want to be. The staff was excellent. As a matter of fact, they're having an open house on October 8th, from four to six, and anyone's welcome to go on tour. The facility is just beautiful. It's huge. They're getting ready to open up another portion of it. Everything is so modern. They can go out and sit in a screened-in area. They can go beyond that and walk around. Everything is gated. So, it's very secure."

"The staff here at Ignite Medical Resort Fort Worth are quite nice. The facilities, especially for physical therapy and occupational therapy, are quite good. They are really good and they are very strong in that department. Their medical care seems to be good as well. The other facilities are very comfortable and very nice."

"My husband was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View. They took good care of him, and he got a lot better in that two-and-a-half weeks. They worked with him every day for several hours a day, and he is now doing very well. He got to order what he wanted to eat every day, and he said he liked it."

"I was in rehab for 10 days at Cityview and they did a great service! The rooms were small, very clean and the food was good. I first opened the dinner and I saw there were just three items and I wondered about them, but when I looked at them, they were well proportioned and well suited for a recovery meal. There was a protein, vegetable salad of some type, and the dessert was often fruit, which was great. I was impressed with the food. The staff were wonderful. They were helpful when we needed them and the people that took care of us at night were really good too. The PT was fantastic. They were great to be with. They were friendly, but they did make you work and it really helped strengthen me and get me ready to go home. I would definitely go there again."

"Garden Terrace of Fort Worth is an old facility. They were the only facility available when my father-in-law was discharged from the hospital. The two places that he had been before that he wanted to go to did not have availability, which is why we ended up at Garden Terrace. He is in a shared room. They've taken pretty good care of him. I think he's a little disappointed that it's not his top choice of where to be, but he's reconciled to that's where he's got to be."

"Pecan Manor accepts a variety of payments including Medicaid which most of these places do not, which I understand. It looks like a nursing facility, which gave us a little set back at first because it was really hard for my two daughters to acknowledge that their father needed to be in a nursing facility. However, the first thing that impressed me was their staff. I went there eight different times before we decided, and I went there sometimes unannounced, but I never once saw anyone who was short-tempered with the residents or any of that. They are extremely pleasant, loving, and smiling. They're caring for my husband physically. Every time I go there, he has been kept clean. Also I rarely walked through the front door with them not hugging me. It's been a good experience given our circumstances. The staff is mostly younger staff and they're loving to the residents. They also have lots of activities like bingo and even for residents who can't really comprehend how to do that any longer, they help them so that they can feel like they're playing. They also have entertainment that comes in for them. "

"I've been at Town Hall Estates Keene for a little over a week now. I get treated very well, and I'm here for PT or rehab. They work me up pretty well every morning. Everything seems to be very nice. The food is very good, and there's plenty of it. My room is nice and comfortable. Most of the staff members are nice and helpful. They're a five-star except for one night aide. They keep it pretty clean and everything seems to work fine. It's easy to get around and everything seems to be just like it should be."

"I knew a couple of patients in this facility and would visit on a weekly basis. The facility had alarms and locks on the doors to prevent patients from wandering out, but they were not in constant use. I was able to come and go freely through the side door which was propped open most times, or not securely locked other times. I think I only had to be buzzed out once of this facility and that's when I had went through the front door. I didn't realize that the doors were supposed to be secure until then. The staff at this facility was very friendly towards the patients that I visited, and I noticed that they were kind to other patients as well. The activities at this facility were well coordinated and all patients that wanted to participate were encouraged to do so. I even sat in on couple of Bingo games, Bible Study and a crafting class which were the appropriate pace for the participants. The Cafeteria was clean and well maintained however the food selection was rather bland, not appealing and limited choices were available for patients. The grounds of this facility were well maintained and their was an enclosed outdoor area that was available for patient use. The area that this facility is located in is pretty safe and has little to no crime activity. This was an average facility in regards to amenities and staff. "

"I am going home next week. I received wound care, PT, OT, Nursing and medication management while here. I truly enjoyed my stay. I was seen by the amazing wound care nurse every day. PT and OT are truly making people better. The nurses go above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. The kitchen tries to provide a variety of options and the staff is very kind. No place is perfect but Stonegate Nursing and Rehab is, in my opinion, very close. Thank you to Nurse Jessica, who got me through some rough days."
