"My mother was in Burleson Nursing and Rehab for 15 months until her passing last week. There truly are no words to adequately express my respect and deep appreciation for the nurses, aids, doctors and support staff for the care they provided to my mother. I was there everyday. Sometimes in the morning and sometimes at night. I never arrived that I wasn't greeted by staff and updated on her care. I knew when I was not there she was being loved and cared for by everyone taking care of her. I loved my mother deeply and will miss her always. But I have peace knowing she was with a family of caretakers that showed her love and respect. "

"My grandmother was here in September for almost 3 weeks after being in the hospital. She came here for rehab after falling and breaking her hip. The nursing staff and the therapy team were top notch and would recommend anyone needing therapy to come to Crowley Nursing and Rehab. They got my grandmother walking again so she could go back to her assisted living facility!"

"I was there for a month rehabbing a hemotoma I received at a facility in Cleburne. The nurses and aides were great. It took them to respond a little while sometimes but they were busy with other patients or serving meals. The therapists were excellent. They tried their best to get patients involved in their therapy, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Everyone there had compassion for the patients."

"My family member was here not long ago and was given the utmost care. The respect and care were top notch and I can't say enough about the caregivers. Thank you doesn't seem enough. The room she was in was very clean and spacious, so we were not crowed in when we visited her. "

"I would like to share this with anyone looking for a home for a loved one. It's a difficult position to be in. My Mom was in assisted living and nursing homes for 4 yrs. The last 8 months at Mira Vista, where she got the best care. The staff was so caring and kind, even making cup cakes for her 95th birthday. I can't say enough good things. I wish we would had started there. But thank you Mira Vista for seeing us through till the end."

"The staff here at Ignite Medical Resort Fort Worth are quite nice. The facilities, especially for physical therapy and occupational therapy, are quite good. They are really good and they are very strong in that department. Their medical care seems to be good as well. The other facilities are very comfortable and very nice."

"My husband was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View. They took good care of him, and he got a lot better in that two-and-a-half weeks. They worked with him every day for several hours a day, and he is now doing very well. He got to order what he wanted to eat every day, and he said he liked it."

"With both parents in facilities, our father in California and our mother here in Texas, we looked at a lot of care sites. Mom needed skilled nursing and we were so happy to find Garden Terrace over a year ago. As a bedridden patient, she was very well cared by considerate and professional staff. The facility is clean, bright and welcoming. All staff I worked with from Exec Dir, Accounting, admitting (Charmaine), front desk (Cynthia), and all nursing and support staff have been friendly and compassionate. Great place!"

"My Mother is currently at Pecan Manor. The staff takes time for your questions. They are very caring and listen to your concerns. Mom enjoys the activities and tells me about the fun they have. All the residents are clean and encouraged to participate. My mom loves that she is not in the big city but more in the country."

"I've been at Town Hall Estates Keene for a little over a week now. I get treated very well, and I'm here for PT or rehab. They work me up pretty well every morning. Everything seems to be very nice. The food is very good, and there's plenty of it. My room is nice and comfortable. Most of the staff members are nice and helpful. They're a five-star except for one night aide. They keep it pretty clean and everything seems to work fine. It's easy to get around and everything seems to be just like it should be."

"I was at Renaissance Park Multi-Care Center for five and a half weeks, after having surgery for an infected hip replacement. I have often found that when the head administrator of any type of business or facility is visible, it is of good quality. My infectious disease doctor happened to mention that he had a physician assistant at Renaissance Park. I decided to choose that facility. When I was admitted there, I was happy to find that the friendly head administrator was visible every day, either in a department, in the halls, or even saying hello to clients in their rooms. It was mentioned to me the second day what an excellent Physical and Occupational Therapy Department this facility had. I was heartened by the way they communicated with each other and how they encouraged their clients. They worked as a team and when they needed an extra hand, each one was immediately available. They were amiable, light-hearted, and above all, knew their stuff. This may sound too good to be true, but it was definitely true here. Seems when I needed something special, it was often the nurse who was personally responsible for me to whom I was supposed to go. She was caring, reliable, and got things done for me. I felt confident knowing she was there. All too often, the specialized administrators and the liaisons between insurance and the client are not seen. It was different here. They were proactive, contacting me in person, up front with information I needed to know. Most of all, it was just a part of their being to call me by name and be truly interested in my well-being, much different from "just doing their job and going home." Sure, I was anxious and demanding at first. I soon learned to pace my requests, to apologize, and to be patient when people had their own particular job to do. Renaissance Park was further from my home than many other rehabilitation centers on the list I had been given to choose from, but I'm glad I chose this one. One other thing: the food was good !!"

"I knew a couple of patients in this facility and would visit on a weekly basis. The facility had alarms and locks on the doors to prevent patients from wandering out, but they were not in constant use. I was able to come and go freely through the side door which was propped open most times, or not securely locked other times. I think I only had to be buzzed out once of this facility and that's when I had went through the front door. I didn't realize that the doors were supposed to be secure until then. The staff at this facility was very friendly towards the patients that I visited, and I noticed that they were kind to other patients as well. The activities at this facility were well coordinated and all patients that wanted to participate were encouraged to do so. I even sat in on couple of Bingo games, Bible Study and a crafting class which were the appropriate pace for the participants. The Cafeteria was clean and well maintained however the food selection was rather bland, not appealing and limited choices were available for patients. The grounds of this facility were well maintained and their was an enclosed outdoor area that was available for patient use. The area that this facility is located in is pretty safe and has little to no crime activity. This was an average facility in regards to amenities and staff. "

"My grandmother was at Stonegate Nursing Center. I actually had an uncle who was there previously, and he liked it, so that's why we chose it for my grandmother, too. It had good amenities and the people there were nice. It was really clean. It was a big community, but they had very attentive people. I liked them. They were really nice. They have a little salon there. So, it was basically like your own little house. Like you didn't have to leave there to go and do much."
