"Amity Place took very good care of my father. He never complained about the place and the food. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were very nice. They were just the right size and they always kept cleaning. The staff always took care of him. Even when he was bedridden, they made sure he was shaved and made sure that he was cleaned. They just did a very good job. We took him on Valentine's Day and when we got there, they were having a little Valentine's Day party in the community area. They also had a St. Patty's Day party, and a Mother's day tea, and on Fridays, they have a church service in the community area that everybody can take part in. So, something is going on almost all the time."

"I’ve been helping my in-laws explore senior living options, and Keystone Villa at Douglassville IL has really stood out. Their sales person has gone above and beyond—personally stopping by my in-laws' home, answering every question (even the ones we didn’t know to ask), and providing incredibly helpful resources along the way. The community itself is impressive—well-maintained, welcoming, and full of life. The events and concerts are truly top-notch and give a great glimpse into the active lifestyle residents enjoy. It’s clear they care not just about filling apartments, but about making sure families feel supported and informed. We’ve been very impressed. This is our first choice for my in-laws when they are ready to make the move. And I appreciate that we've never felt pressured. Their team realizes it can be a long decision-making process."

"I visited the independent living community of Holiday Walnut Woods in Boyertown. What I like best about it is that it was very clean. The thing I liked least was that they didn't have stoves in the independent living quarters. Other than that, the staff was great, and the place was pet-friendly, which I loved. It is very clean and very lovely. If I were to be ready to go into an independent living center, I would choose this one."

"My husband's sister has resided in Assisted Living for 3=years. The rooms and facility is clean and well maintained. The food, according to her, is very good. The entire staff, well, I cannot say enough good things about the staff, their attentiveness, their friendliness, and the activities and socialization they provide for residents"

"We chose Columbia Cottage Collegeville for mom because it's a small community, and the caregiver to resident ratio is favorable. They offer a variety of activities and services, and the location was also beneficial. They had 10 levels of care from independent living all the way through to skilled nursing. It is great because she can age in place, and the staff has been amazing. They have three different sized rooms. My mom is in a 312 square foot room (which doesn't sound like much), but it is perfect for a single person. There's a full bathroom with a walk-In shower and pull cords by the bed and in the bathroom for assistance. There are three different sized rooms. They're generally on a wait list, but we happen to call them at a good time. They have one available. It's really like a big home. They have a living room, a TV area, dining room, and kitchen (which is all open for the residents to use as they like). They also have a hair salon onsite, as well as a physical therapy area. They have therapists that come in several times a week and a hairdresser that's there two days a week. They also have a nurse on-staff 24 hours a day, and they're great. If there's any medical assistance needed, they're there. They have various activities like arts and crafts, games, bingo, and movie night. They also have a vehicle, so they can do scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments. There are two courtyards inside the building, so residents can go outside and enjoy them without the risk of anybody wandering off. She likes the food so far."

"The rooms are beautiful and well cared for. Kept so very well. We’re proud to show our friends and family. The food is very much like home. Not gourmet, but love most of chef’s preparations. The soups are positively delicious. Dining staff is well trained and helpful. The staff is without a doubt the very most friendly and caring group of people. Our observation is that comes from the top! Greeted from the beginning with our personal names from all. This atmosphere is noticed from the residents also. Couldn’t be happier in this environment. Good times are had by all."

"My friend moved into Penn Assisted Care. It was a good match for him. It wasn't a hard process at all. The staff members are very helpful. They take the time to address any situations that need to be addressed. They're very professional. My friend likes the food. They have day rooms and people interact with each other. It's a pleasant setting and very personal."

"My husband has been a resident at Eagleview Landing since June of 2023. We (all of our family and even our friends) are so pleased with the care, compassion, knowledge and friendliness of everyone at this facility. They made his adjustment a breeze. Even his neurologist commented on how well he adjusted (and I feel it because of the care he gets everyday!) Michele G. is your initial contact. Michele does an outstanding job explaining what to expect but, most importantly once you are there she still follows up to make sure your expectations are being met. You will find everyone from General Manager, Business Office, Front Desk Team, Nurses, Caregivers, Therapy team , Kitchen, Activities Coordinators, Cleaning Crew, and Maintenance Crew are always accessible and willing to help if you need anything! The Bayada Therapy team does an outstanding job. Seniority Health also takes great care of the residents. The "amenities" are great. No need to take your love one or yourself out for hairdresser, nail, Dr. Dentist and Podiatry. The food service is amazing. Great selection of meals for residents and each plate is made to order. Impressive!! Along with the great care. The facility itself is beautiful and well maintained. Very clean and does NOT smell. I have had family and friends tell me they have never seen a Long Term Care Facility so nice with so many pleasant and friendly employees. THANK YOU to everyone at Eagleview Landing for all you do!!"

"I toured Echo Lake. The staff was attentive and willing to talk about my friend's needs and discuss some changes that we recommended. It was a lovely place. It was very open and welcoming. They did provide the chopped diet that she needed. It's a beautiful facility. They have exercise plans and physical therapy."

"The manager at Celebration Villa of Exeter was wonderful. She took me around and showed me everything. She sent me a little video of what we had seen that day. My husband had a chance to see the place and we looked at two different types of rooms that were wonderful. It was a clean place. It was friendly. There was a nursing staff 24/7 and that was important to me. It was also in a nice setting where there was some greenery around. It wasn't just like a brick-and-mortar type thing. Every room had a nice view of something that was green and there was a walking spot to go all the way around the buildings so that you could get some exercise, too. The facility was very nice. It reminded me of a New England inn. It had a central fireplace with rooms radiating from it that were kind of glassed-in so you could see in. There was a TV room, a library, a cafeteria area, and a dining hall."

"I toured Sunrise of Paoli. I've met with Lee, the director of the facility. I was greeted when I first came in. There was a big sign welcoming me. The front desk receptionist was very warm and welcoming. Lee walked me through every possible scenario: the different rooms, the different options, and how the building is laid out. She then walked me through the dining hall and explained the menu and how the daily choices are made. They invited me to play bingo with them, which was fun, and to have a snack. I met the cleaning staff, nursing staff, and other admins. They were all very, very helpful and informative. We took a tour of the different wings of the building to show me different styles of rooms and explain a little bit about each one."

"My mother-in-law will be moving into Arden Courts of King of Prussia. We chose them because they specialize in behavioral dementia. They are very good at what they do. Few places specialize in frontal lobe dementia, and they are very trained in handling the behaviors, de-escalating, and redirecting. The rooms are smaller for a purpose because they try to encourage all residents to be out among all of the other residents. It's in a circle, so they can kind of walk in any direction, and get where they need to be. They have full access to the outside courts, which was very important to my mother-in-law. They've got activities almost like every other hour just to keep them up and moving and interactive. You can tell that it's a little dated. It's an older community. It's not a modernized, community but it's fit for dementia care."

"The place is beautiful, very nice amenities. The woman at the front desk is so nice and helpful, if you ask her where do you think my loved one she pretty much knows exactly where she is. Food is excellent and friendly staff waiters. If you have a loved one looking for assisted living/ memory care this is the place your looking for."

"I toured Daylesford Crossing. It's a wonderful place, with wonderful people and very modern-looking rooms. The staff knows every resident by name, so everybody is on a first-name basis. They took me to their physical therapy room and event room. They were doing some events when I got there. They were having a magic show. They didn't have the level of care that my parents needed, but it was one of the top ones that we liked. They had a very small library. They had someone come once a week to do hair and nails. The gym was the physical therapy room, so it was a smaller room. It was more like an apartment building."

"The Heritage of Green Hills was so active. It was Halloween and they were having a Halloween party. They were really busy. It's a busy place. But you have to buy into that, and I didn't want to do that. It was nice though. The rooms were very clean and very neat. The size of the room was perfect. They had a buffet for dining, but I don't know if it's always a buffet. They have a huge indoor pool and a beauty salon. They have everything there, and the place is huge."

"I like the size of the apartments at Wellington at Hershey's Mill, both the one-bedroom apartment and the studio. They were spacious compared to the others. It looked pleasant. The woman that did the tour was excellent and very knowledgeable. I liked the restaurants and the activities they have for the residents. I also liked the proximity of the nurses to the areas that were in charge. They have a gym, a gathering area, and recreations."

"What I liked best about Paradise Manor was it wasn't crowded. I like that they have their own rooms and that they don't share with anyone else. The staff was very friendly. It's easy to get around in that facility. There's nothing that I saw that will cause any red flags for me as far as mom being in her wheelchair. There's plenty of room for her to go around. I spoke with the director there, and he was great. He was very upfront and honest and cares for his staff. A lot of his staff members have been working for him for over 15 years, so that says a lot about him. I only interacted with a few members of the staff, but the little that I did, they were really good. When I was walking in, there was staff cleaning the bathroom. Everything was clean. There were no strange smells or any obstacles in the way that could cause someone to trip. Everything was good. I liked it. The size of the rooms was pretty modest. I've seen three different rooms, and they're pretty good-sized and roomy. The rooms downstairs have their own bathrooms. Some of the rooms upstairs have to share a bathroom, and some have individual private bathrooms. There's a shared shower."
