"Manatawny Manor was a good, clean place, and the people seemed to be respectful and nice. The food and the staff were good. In the independent living, you can have a shared room or an independent room. It had everything you need, and it was well maintained. It was located close to a hospital and to the malls."

"It was a great place. The staff member was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. She answered all the questions I had. The dining area was nice, but I did not try the food. They had a library, and an arts and crafts room."

"My mother has moved into Eagleview Landing. She's in the memory care unit. She's got a large room and bathroom, and they did go through a switch with the director and staff. They had problems communicating with the family about certain things, but they took care of that. She's pretty well taken care of. My brother's only three minutes away and my sister-in-law and I go over quite often. She was falling out of bed when she first got there. My family's the one that went out and got her a safety bar. The family's done a lot to make sure that she's OK, but mom's content. Unfortunately, there are no levels of memory care, and she doesn't need the best kind because she's not completely there yet, so she complains about the companionship she has. It's not really at her level, but it's a beautiful facility. I've been there and she seems happy. I would recommend it. They let you decorate the room whatever way you want, and she's got a lot of familiar things in there. There's plenty of space for personal items. We have notes up for them and they adhere to the preferences of the family. My mom likes to pick her own clothes and they're pretty good about that. I know that they have lounge areas and they have TVs. There was a whole group that was wheeled up to a certain area to watch the Eagles game. She's in a locked facility. They have their own dining area. Eagle View also has assisted living and I've been able to wheel her to the lounge outside of the locked area and you could see another dining area. It looks nice for people who just might need assistance, just physical care as opposed to memory care. They have little apartments around there, too, that are part of the facility."

"My father moved to Arbour Square in West Chester. I think they're doing a very good job on trying to make him comfortable and ease into the community. The food is fine. They have lots of options in terms of activities, like cocktail hours. They have social talk (or coffee talk) and movies. His room is clean, and the amenities are very nice. They have a games area outside with a firepit. They have a patio and a second patio by the lunch area. They have many outside activities with a few options."

"My father is at BrandyWine Assisted Living. The place is very clean and well-organized. We like their staff. "

"I went to the Pinnacle at Plymouth Meeting. We went in to look at the rooms, they were very nice, and the two people that I met were very good, pleasant, and informative. The rooms were gorgeous. What I saw led to people feeling as if they were in their own home, which is hard to do when you're building a facility. The architecture and structure was very nice, it was spotless, the art that they used to color, it was like modern art, and I knew that my cousins would like it if they chose to go there. The corridors were wide, each floor had a different color, so it provided a difference, so that people weren't seeing the same thing all the time. If they would go from one floor to the other, there would be a variety. There was an opportunity for music, for socializing, as people get used to being there they would go on little groups and feel comfortable about visiting different areas. But with COVID, they can't do that right now."

"The residents at Blue Bell Place seemed more like minded to my fatherss. This place just seemed very similar with the other places we visited in terms of food and rooms. But my father just had a better feel for this place. "

"Villa Saint Martha is very good and very nice. The staff seems really nice and able to manage what is going on. There are no problems of any sort. They seem to be really on the ball. "

"I used Amity Place for my mother as a respite first, and then she moved in permanently. She was only there for three weeks, though. The place was clean. I was very pleased with the care and treatment of the staff and the nursing staff. The only downfall I would have would be communication with their administration. The room was very nice. It was spacious for one individual, and that's all she needed. All her needs were met. It was more like a studio. She participated minimally in their activities just because she was fairly new and so scared. However, for amenities, they had a courtyard with flowers and a garden where the residents can participate. They had an individual from a local high school or local college who came in and played piano in a common area for them. They had two other common areas. One was a TV/library area, and the other was just an open area. I had no issues with the nursing staff or the other staff. They were great. The meals were pretty good. I was very pleased with the food that they got there. They accommodated a lot. The facility was very clean. She was in a wheelchair, so it was very easy to get around mobility-wise in a wheelchair."

"Right now, Rose Tree Place seems to be working well for my mother in particular. It appears to be a clean place. I don't really have any criticisms yet but it seems to be suiting her needs at this point and she seems to be settling in well. It's worth going to. It may not suit everyone but it seems to suit my mother fine. "

"My mother is going to move into St. Mary Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare. I like the price. You can get the room furnished or unfurnished. They can provide it for you, or you can furnish it yourself. The one-bedroom was pretty spacious. There's a walk-in bathroom. We're trying to keep my mother on the first floor, so we had to wait a little bit. But the place was nice. It was not luxurious by no such imagination, but it was doable. The people were friendly. The director was very good and informative. It's close to family, which is why we picked it. They provide three meals a day, too. There's a courtyard and a meditation outside that is good for Catholic services."

"I visited Paradise Manor. They were very accommodating and very knowledgeable. The place was clean. It seemed to have everything there that was needed, and it's close to where I live. I believe it's like $1,500 a month. I didn't see many activities. I basically just saw the amenities. It's more of a studio-type environment."

"Springfield Crossings was new and updated, and they had a lot of amenities. The person who gave me the tour was nice. They seemed really caring and very interested in making the seniors active. They had a gym, a salon, a courtyard, a dining room like a cafe, and a garden."

"Springfield Senior Living was very clean, and the workers there were very professional. I liked how engaged they were with the residents. They showed me the activity room. I noticed that the residents were involved in activities. They were in the dining room, they were watching TV, and they were doing things. Then the apartment itself was very nice. The only criticism I can think of is maybe renovation of the apartments like with the cabinets or something like that, but other than that, everything was very nice. I like it a lot. The staff was very professional and informative. She gave me a folder with all the information in it. I didn't have to ask any questions because all the information was in the folder."
