"I toured Daylesford Crossing. It's a wonderful place, with wonderful people and very modern-looking rooms. The staff knows every resident by name, so everybody is on a first-name basis. They took me to their physical therapy room and event room. They were doing some events when I got there. They were having a magic show. They didn't have the level of care that my parents needed, but it was one of the top ones that we liked. They had a very small library. They had someone come once a week to do hair and nails. The gym was the physical therapy room, so it was a smaller room. It was more like an apartment building."

"I toured Sunrise of Paoli. I've met with Lee, the director of the facility. I was greeted when I first came in. There was a big sign welcoming me. The front desk receptionist was very warm and welcoming. Lee walked me through every possible scenario: the different rooms, the different options, and how the building is laid out. She then walked me through the dining hall and explained the menu and how the daily choices are made. They invited me to play bingo with them, which was fun, and to have a snack. I met the cleaning staff, nursing staff, and other admins. They were all very, very helpful and informative. We took a tour of the different wings of the building to show me different styles of rooms and explain a little bit about each one."

"Echo Lake had a very small group of people, because it's so new, and they were all very lovely. We had lunch in one of the restaurant areas and there were a lot of people down there eating lunch. My husband and I were all by ourselves and everybody was very gracious. One by one, as they all finished lunch and left, they all came over and said hi. Some of them sat down to talk to us for 20 minutes. It was just a very friendly, very family feeling community. The people that took us through were very patient and very encouraging, but not at all pushy."

"This facility seemed very nice. The residents were happy and the staff seemed to enjoy working there. It felt more homey than I expected and was very clean. The residents seemed to have a lot of things to do and the food seemed pretty good! The amenities were nice. This facility is in a very nice area as well and the residents had a lot of access to the community through shuttle services. "

"My parents enjoy this community, just because it change companies, the quality of care and amenities have continued from when it was Martins Run into Wesley Enhanced Living. The CEO Linda has help us if we had any problems that would arise. I would recommend this retirement community. It is more affordable retirement community. "

"My mom is already on the list at Sunrise of Haverford. We chose them because it was nice, and the people were nice as well. The rooms were great, and the place itself is in great shape. I was impressed with their memory section because they had patients who were reminiscing on their business, and that idea was really a brilliant idea to me. He would feel like he could do some of the things that he used to do. The guy who toured us around was very warm and really understood us. "

"Once too often, we had found my Grandmother unresponsive in her own regular apartment and decided it was time for a change of environment! After searching the internet for local places, we had accrued a very short list of facilities that had passed our initial requirements. Together with my Mother, we devised a laundry list of questions that we planned on asking at our visit. The staff was GREAT! Not only did they entertain our 70+ question test (within an hour of us emailing it to them), but they dedicated the time to make sure we knew everything necessary and still answered more emails afterwards!!! Since moving my Grandmother in, she seems to be very well taken care of. She no longer naps all day long, getting her days and nights confused. The activities keep her busy most of the time and we've even been invited to participate along with her. The staff is very friendly. The facility is clean and doesn't wreak of urine. The tenants are a joy to be around and seem pleased with their accommodations. I wish they would be able to work with the health insurance, but am pleased with everything else. I would definitely recommend it as a place to look into for anyone else facing this stage in life!!!"

"My childhood best friend is suffering from Alzheimer’s. After researching many senior care facilities, Rosetree definitely stood out. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly, but most of all, the residents there all looked very happy. Met with Mike and Janice in their sales department. They could not have been more willing to answer all of my questions Mike gave me a tour of the facility. I was extremely impressed, he knew every residents name. My friend is very happy there. She rarely wants to go out anywhere with me. She loves the food and has met many new friends. With the covid19 virus causing havoc everywhere. They are very good with keeping me informed with any updates, and what they are doing to keep the residents safe Putting my friend in a facility was the hardest thing I had to do. Rosetree has definitely made me feel as if I made the right decision by choosing their facility. "

"My father is a resident at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. The rooms and the whole place are beautiful. I don't have any problem there so far. The food is good; he has a tremendous appetite. They do a lot of activities like memory games, bowling, and singing. I just wish that they could be a little more forceful where his cleanliness is concerned. Of course, they can encourage him to wash, but they cannot force him. "

"We liked Spring Mill Assisted Living. The facility is basically new. My grandmother liked it and she wanted to go to Spring Mill Assisted Living. The staff are helpful. Her apartment has a little kitchen, but it does not have a stove because they make dinner for everybody. It got a fridge and a microwave. The residents go down to the main dining hall. I haven't eaten there but I heard that it's good. They also do a lot of activities. "

"Springfield Crossings was OK. It was a way to walk from the parking lot to the building. The rooms to me were kind of small and it was under construction, so I didn't understand that one, but the person that gave the tour was pretty nice. He's a very knowledgeable young guy. Next door to the facility was a nursing home that was available for the residents. If something were to happen to your loved one, they can be taken there, which I thought was pretty good since it was convenient. The dining area was nice and clean as well. Then they have a private room if you have family members that stopped by."

"Merrill Gardens at West Chester was nice, but it wasn't what we were looking for. The room was very nice and very well done. It looks like there's a refrigerator, a stove, and stuff like that. They offer three meals a day. The person who took me around was very knowledgeable, very caring, and very nice. The place itself was very nice, very clean, and very well done. They have areas that you can use outside when the weather is nice. It wasn't that old, but it was very well-kept. It was a little too far for us and it just wasn't what we were looking for. Otherwise, I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like it."

"We chose Columbia Cottage Collegeville for mom because it's a small community, and the caregiver to resident ratio is favorable. They offer a variety of activities and services, and the location was also beneficial. They had 10 levels of care from independent living all the way through to skilled nursing. It is great because she can age in place, and the staff has been amazing. They have three different sized rooms. My mom is in a 312 square foot room (which doesn't sound like much), but it is perfect for a single person. There's a full bathroom with a walk-In shower and pull cords by the bed and in the bathroom for assistance. There are three different sized rooms. They're generally on a wait list, but we happen to call them at a good time. They have one available. It's really like a big home. They have a living room, a TV area, dining room, and kitchen (which is all open for the residents to use as they like). They also have a hair salon onsite, as well as a physical therapy area. They have therapists that come in several times a week and a hairdresser that's there two days a week. They also have a nurse on-staff 24 hours a day, and they're great. If there's any medical assistance needed, they're there. They have various activities like arts and crafts, games, bingo, and movie night. They also have a vehicle, so they can do scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments. There are two courtyards inside the building, so residents can go outside and enjoy them without the risk of anybody wandering off. She likes the food so far."

"My mother had PSP. This is a rare brain disease that only very recently is being treated differently than Parkinson's. I say this because the people at Glen Riddle listened to our family's concerns as we navigated this disease through its various forms. They were able to handle the awful challenges that PSP presented. The staff really cared about my mom. The administrative team, the nurses, the kitchen and housekeeping all were instrumental in making sure her needs were met. I imagine working in an assisted living facility is one of the hardest jobs on the planet. The staff at Glen Riddle Residence showed a compassion and connection with my mom that I will forever be grateful for. "
