My mom lives in Keystone Villa at Douglassville. That place is great. They've taken care of her. They've got great food. They've got activities all the time. They don't let you just sit. They come and get you and take you to the activities. They know her by name. When I walk into the building, they can tell me exactly where she is. If she's in a room, if she's in an activity, if she's walking the halls, they know where she is at all times. One time we were missing each other in the elevators. I was going up one and she came down one. They get on their radio and they go, "Who's got eyes on her?" One person had her. They kept her there and then I got to her. She was in independent living, but they moved her to assisted living. It's beautiful. She had shrimp for lunch yesterday, and she loves that. The food is great. I've actually eaten there and the food is restaurant worthy. They keep her active all the time. They don't let them just sit around and do nothing. They've got therapists that come in. The activities aren't just done by random staff person. There was a young man that walked in in front of me and I go, "You visiting?" He goes, "No, I'm a physical therapist. I'm doing one of the activities today." It's worth it, but it still is expensive.

Keystone Villa at Douglassville is too far from me. They would be charging me $40 just to take me to the doctor, because my doctors are in Reading Hospital. I'm 81, and I have a lot of doctors' appointments. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. The facility itself was very nice, clean, and neat. They were very friendly, and the food was good too. The rooms were very clean, neat, and very nice. The sizes were very good. I liked the place. I saw the garden, but it's the time of year that the garden isn't the best of quality because of the weather, but it was very nice. Their dining area was nice, too. It's like a buffet where you have a buffet every day, and it's very nice.

I toured Keystone Villa at Douglassville. I looked at the facility and talked with a couple people there, but I knew once we were talking price point it wasn't going to work. The rooms were very nice. The facility overall was very well kept and very neat. I think that facility is not real, real old, and that's probably one of the reasons it looked very nice. The staff was very, very nice. The administrator stayed in touch. They emailed different things that were going on at the facility, and if I wanted to come back and partake in any of those. They were very helpful and very nice.

My brother moved into Keystone Villa at Douglassville. I like that he's getting the care that he needs. Everyone is very pleasant and very thorough. They seem very knowledgeable and very friendly. It seems like they take an interest in everyone. They stop in to see how he's doing any time of the day. The building is very clean. It looks good. My brother has not really participated in anything yet, but I see music, bingo, and games going on. I feel that it's a very friendly, warm, personal environment.

My mom was a resident of Keystone Villa at Douglassville. She got very good care and she enjoyed it there. The staff was very nice. It has a very nice dining area. They had multiple activities, I don't know offhand what all they were, but they kept them active. It was a very nice room and that was kept clean. And mom had her private shower.

I went to Keystone Villa at Douglassville. I go there once or twice a week to see a lot of people because I live by Walmart, and if they need anything, I take it to them. The staff is wonderful. They do anything for you. They show you around and they have an activity paper up saying what they're going to be doing for the day. If the people need to go out of the building, they have to sign a screen that you take them out and bring them back in. They secure the building. They have a little area for the kitchen and a little space for a table, and then it's all open. Then there's the living room, and then off to the left, they have like a one-bedroom room that they could put their stuff in and a nice-sized bathroom with a walk-in shower and big bay windows. They do have a wide variety of food. They have a salad bar with fruit and vegetables and a big area to get drinks. They have two parakeets that sit there and talk to you while you eat. They're in a cage, kept, and they can't get any germs anywhere. It's the second floor that has a gym and the other end has a salon. Then they have a room where you could sit and do puzzles, play cards, and watch TV. It's all beautiful.

My father will be moving into Keystone Villa at Douglassville. What I like best is the responsiveness and the attention they've already given him, and it looks like it's a normal kind of attention for what they do. They've been very responsive to his needs. The room is spacious. There is a kitchenette and lots of wall space. He can do all of his own decorating. Because they're putting in a new rug, he could pick what kind of rug he wanted. It's very much like a blank canvas ready for him to make it his own home. It's a very friendly atmosphere. It's almost like when you go on a friendly cruise. Everything seems to be there for you, and you can pick and choose all the stuff you want to go. It's almost like going on a vacation. They have twice-a-week shuttles that go to a couple of different shopping areas. Some things are very convenient. It would be difficult to walk just because of the highway, but very close enough that you could walk if it wasn't a highway. I did not taste the food, but my father has a few times and he really enjoyed the meals. I saw the dining room. It's like a restaurant feel. It's not a cafeteria feel. It's a nice eating location. They also have a private dining room that can be used if you're having your family come in or something like that. There's an atrium where they bring in a lot of entertainment. There's an area for watching movies. There's a little library area and a community center kind of set up where you'd have longer tables to do those kinds of activities. It just seemed like there was an awful lot. This is my father's choice. They made him feel the most comfortable. He's happy.

My mother is a relatively new resident at Keystone Villa Douglassville. After living in the same house for 54+ years making this move was very emotional for her. When I shared with the staff that she was struggling, I was assured that it's very common for new residents to feel this way. They have really stepped up to make sure my mom is getting assistance and encouragement she needs to help ease her transition. They really want her to feel comfortable getting to know everyone and getting involved in any and all activities that interest her. All of the staff are very friendly to her (and her family) - and it's clear that they truly care about all of the residents. Even though it's independent living, they go above and beyond to make sure the residents are living their best lives. There are lots of activities, entertainment, and places to go on the bus. Mom says the food is very good (and the desserts are fantastic). Her apartment is really nice - high ceilings and good size rooms and lots of closet space. The whole place is very clean, attractive and inviting. We love that it's pet friendly. Although my mother doesn't have a pet, we are always welcome to bring ours to visit her. There's always something fun going on - we recently attended the casino night with her and it was really fun! We feel good knowing that our mother is in a safe, caring, and comfortable place where the staff really cares and treats the residents like family.

My sister-in-law and her husband moved into Keystone Villa at Douglassville. The people are very welcoming. The place is clean, and the food is edible in that kind of situation. They have very little adjustment difficulty. Their one-bedroom apartment is spacious. They have activities and they plan trips. I think the thing that's been most helpful is that they have doctors coming to the facility. They had been there a few weeks and we went to the wrong building to visit them. The woman at that building knew their name and where to find them, and I was pretty impressed by that. The dining area is nice. It's hard when you're cooking for that many people, but what I had was fine when I ate there.

The staff and caretakers at the Keystone Villa took such great care of my grandma. They truly made us feel at ease, knowing that in her last days, she was well cared for. They were quick to help and answer any questions we had. We will forever be grateful that we chose the Villa.

The idea of having a parent move to a senior living center is a stressful and difficult decision to make. Thankfully, our family found Keystone Villa at Douglassville. After our initial visit, we knew this place would be a perfect fit. ALL staff members are so friendly and caring to residents and family members. My mother immediately felt welcomed and special because every staff member she encountered acknowledged her in a friendly manner using her given name. This beautiful facility is always clean and well cared for. Carefully thought out and appropriate daily activities are available for residents. Our family has seen our mother make a complete transformation into a happy, smiling, social butterfly who gladly participates in all the various activities and bus trips. My mom stated” you no longer need to worry about me. I really like my new home. The food is very good, and there are so many activities to keep me busy all day. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. “ Thank you Keystone Villa at Douglassvile!!!

My mother has been at Keystone Villa Douglassville for about 3 years. Her apartment is lovely and the (weekly) housekeeping staff does a great job keeping it clean. The activities director orchestrates a very full and diverse monthly schedule of opportunities for the residents. A variety of medical appointments (e.g. podiatrist, dermotologist, hearing specialists, etc) can be arranged on site. Importantly, I can’t say enough good things about the kindness and responsiveness of the staff whenever I have had a question or concern — from the receptionists at the front desk up to the upper level administrators. I have great peace of mind with my mom being at Keystone.

I like Keystone Villa at Douglassville very much. It's just a little too expensive. I like what they have to offer. I like the community itself. I like the clientele, and there's a lot of stuff. I like that they have continuous care. They have doctors and nurses on call, they have home care, they have rehab onsite, and they have nurses through the night, which I like. They have different games, different activities, and they take trips and stuff like that. I liked that. The apartment has a kitchenette. Their kitchens are small, but all they have are microwaves. It would be like you were going on a mini-vacation, and I needed something a little bit more. They have an area with games and a pool, Outside the rooms, they have kitchens there so you could cook or have your family there. We saw the dining room, too.

My father recently became a resident in the independent living section at KVD. The Sales manager and general manager were able to put together a really nice apartment for my dad under unique circumstances. You will notice 2 things when you walk in. First, the place is spotless. The custodial staff does an excellent job. Second you will see a warmness from EVERYONE, staff and residents alike. The food service, front desk and office staff knew my dad's name immediately. Having a loved one move from their residence of many years to anew place can be difficult but KVD really goes out of their way to make the transition easier. The food is really good and there are a multitude of activities every single day of the week. I highly recommend checking out the villa.

I love living at Keystone Villa Independent living in Douglassville. I have made many friends. I was shy at first, was unsure of leaving my home. I am so glad I made the move. Staff is very good to me. Someone is always here in case something happens. I love my large one bedroom apartment. I have my dog, Buddy here. Everything is so close to me. I do not have to struggle at home alone anymore. My family is so happy. They know I am safe.

My mother-in-law was a resident at Keystone Villa at Douglassville. It was a great place. It was very welcoming, very efficient, and very comfortable. They tried the transportation and bus trips, and they did a really good job with weekly entertainment. They always had musicians come in and educational presentations and live games. The studio room was large and had a nice open floor plan. There were really large windows on the ground floor. She liked her room and we made it nice.

My mom is currently living at Keystone Villa at Douglassville. We're very happy with them. The facility is very clean. They are caring and have open communication. The only thing that my mom complains about is the food. At times, it is not always the best variety or the best quality. The facility is very open. Esthetically, it's pretty. The staff is very nice. Lunch and dinner are included, but not breakfast. They do not have many activities. They have a van-type thing for them to take them places. They have a movie room. They play bridge and cards. They make some trips to the store here and there. They have some music folks that come in.

I toured Keystone Villa at Douglassville. I like that they have a full list of activities that they do there. They transport them to different places, they have weekly trips where they take whoever wants to go to the store. They go to Lancaster to see plays, and I thought that's kinda neat. They held different events in the facility themselves for them to get involved. I like the idea that they had a hair salon right there, it's just a nice place. They were fantastic. The person who gave the tour was wonderful, she explained everything. All the people that work there, were caring and they were feeding people. everybody introduced themselves, they're nice as can be, very friendly staff. They gave us a whole menu for us to look at, which was neat. They have everything laid out, it was nice.

No matter which facility you choose, let's face it, they are expensive. I also think my mother was not going to embrace any facility because she wanted to be at home. I feel like this place was really a great fit for my mother even though it was a little farther from home for us. The staff was great to her and helped her acclimate and get involved. The facility itself is beautiful, I could see myself living there one day.

We visited the assisted living part of Keystone Villa at Douglassville. Sue was awesome. She was very accommodating and worked well with us. We almost got my mother-in-law there, but she got better so she went back to the independent living situation that she was in. Sue helped us and was awesome with it. It's a beautiful facility. The rooms were nice, not huge, but nice and with a lot of different styles. I did not get to see the independent living room, but the assisted living ones were nice. It's not as big as some of the others, but the facility is just beautiful and happy. When you go in, even me as just a person walking in, it makes me happy. There was a lot of activity and lots of stuff going on. Everybody in there was active and having fun. Most of the time I went in there, there was somebody entertaining them. They were having happy hour. They were mostly together playing games in the library, or whatever that room is, and there was music. They were going out on a bus trip. People were mingling, chit-chatting, and laughing in the lobby, getting ready to get on their buses. It's just very happy and positive. Everybody seemed to be very friendly, and the residents seemed to enjoy the staff like they were all friends. It was nice. The place is kind of right off the main road, so they can't walk anywhere. If they're able to walk, there's no store to walk to. You have to cross over a busy street to get to the stores across the street, so nobody would be walking anywhere. It's the only drawback I have. The inside of the place is gorgeous though. It's just beautiful, very pleasant, very homey, but not old-fashioned. As far as the decor goes, it's not ultra-modern like some of these nursing homes you go in that look like an airport or something because it's so modernized all of a sudden. I don't like those. I'm thinking those old people don't really appreciate that either. They like something that reminds them of home, and this place is like if you had a beautiful fancy home of your own. It's very enjoyable to be there. The air about the place was very nice.

After a hospital stay and 3 weeks of rehab, my fathers insurance no longer covered a rehab stay. Keystone Villa was able to quickly and promptly provide him with a room for a 30 day (60 days if needed) respite stay. All staff at the Villa had been more than accommodating to both my father and myself. He says he had enjoyed his short term stay there and that they had treated him very well. The staff is very willing to help with any and all things needed and communicates very well. It was great to know he was happy where he was staying and the precise communication between the staff and myself was equally as important and helped relieve a lot of stress that comes along with a situation like this. The therapists contracted to Keystone Villa were also wonderful. I saw more improvement in my father within 3 days of working with them than I did in 3 weeks at the rehab facility in which he was originally placed. The staff is caring and compassionate and strive to provide the most welcoming and accommodating stay for short and long term residents. Although my father was only in for a 30 day respite stay, he was always treated as if he was a long term resident and not just a short term guest. While comparing prices for similar facilities in the area, I was also pleasantly surprised to find that Keystone Villa was one of the more affordable locations in the area while also having higher ratings. They’re the “best bang for your buck.”

We cannot begin to properly express our gratitude to all the staff at Keystone Villa Douglassville who provided care and support to both of our parents From the moment they moved into Keystone Personal Care in 2017, everyone , including admissions ,nursing,CNAs, PT and OT, Activities, dietary, maintenance and the staff at the front desk , treated them kindly and with dignity. When my father was placed on Hospice in 2019, everyone responded so quickly to provide them with a new apartment so that he could receive the care and comfort he needed. In 2020, when COVID changed our world, the staff at Keystone continued to bravely care for all of our loved ones. My mother will be transferred from Keystone Villa this week to a local nursing home . We will be forever grateful for everything everyone has done for her , and in turn ,our family . We know she will miss all of you ; as will we.

Keystone Villa at Douglassville has the best combination of quality, cost, and favorable location for the family. My mom is there and they've been extremely helpful with the move-in. The activities have been excellent and they have more amenities compared to other facilities that we're familiar with, like a salon, activity rooms, and dining rooms.

I was very pleased with Keystone Villa at Douglassville. I was happy with it. It was great. I liked it overall. Everything was nice. The staff during the tour was great, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They offered food, but we did not have lunch there. The menu was very impressive. They were all having lunch, so I did not get to see them interact, but the activity calendar was nice. I was very happy with the whole layout. The rooms were very bright and clean.

I have visited Keystone Villa at Douglassville. They're much older-looking than other places, but they're adequate. They're not so much money, and the people are very nice. Their apartment was very nice, not upscale, but very nice, and had plenty of closet space. They have an outdoor area, though I wish they had a pool. They always have entertainment, they have a smoking area, which is very satisfactory to me, as well as other areas that I went to see. You can even have your dog and a cat. They look older and don't look so sparkling, but you could tell that it was clean. They have a cleaning service service once a week instead of every two weeks. The staff was very nice.

My mother was a resident for over 7 years. I visited her three times a week. This gave me an opportunity to observe day to day facility management. I only saw good things; love and care shown to residents, positive attitude among staff which transferred to contentment among residents. Since her death in October of 2018 I have returned as a volunteer to assist with activities. Before COVID the activities were many and varied. I considered this a real plus for my mother, making her days interesting and fun.

My mother moved to Keystone Villa at Douglassville 2 weeks ago now. The staff there seems very caring and helpful. I don't see any negatives with the facility or the staff, all of them are awesome. They can only do so much when someone is having health and mental issues. I would recommend them to other people. She's in a private suite, it's one big room with a bathroom. It looks awesome from what we saw. They don't allow people in rooms right now so we can only see the lobby and they have separate visiting rooms where they're allowing visitors. It's a clean room that they disinfect when the visiting party leaves which is a better idea than no visit at all. Everything that we've seen was perfectly clean and sanitary. We've brought in a few things and we may move some more things there when she gets into the new room at the memory care. They're also recommending that she get a roommate just for the fact that she cannot stand to be alone. I'd rate them pretty high on just the facility, the building, the architecture, the cleanliness, and it's well-lit. The people there seem to be happy, they have loads of activities for the residents. They try to make them busy, most of the time. They can choose whether they want to do them or not and my mother's getting involved in everything even though she may not be of sound enough mind to participate. She's definitely doing them and enjoying them which is better than sitting there and doing nothing. There are definitely places that are cheaper than this one but they don't even look nice on the outside and I don't get good reports on some of them. One of the reasons why we decided on this place is because it has a high rating and we knew of some people from family and friends that gave high reviews.

Two of my family members have lived at Keystone Villa Douglassville; a brother for a number of years until his passing, a sister currently in assisted living. Their personal care was and remains first rate. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting; the staff, very receptive, and the social activities a plus. It has given my family peace of mind knowing we can rely on the professionalism of the villa community.

I went to the Keystone Villa at Douglassville. It was a very nice place. I brought a friend there to check it out for her mother. We had a lovely lunch. We spoke to the activities director; she was very active. They had Zumba, yoga, bingo, cards, and crafts. They had a really nice craft shop. The rooms were average, and the facility was not as nice. We went to the lunch room, which was fabulous, and then we talked to the activities director. They had a library, they had crafts, and they had day trips. The Keystone Villa was nice. The staff was nice and the food was good. The lobby was very spacious. It wasn't big, but it was very cozy.

My parents are in Keystone Villa. It is a very nice establishment and a very caring community. My mother has memory issues and my father is on hospice. Their room is kept clean. The staff seems conscientious and caring. My mother would like more activities, but they try to keep them engaged. They have a library, a small movie theater, a big room with couches where sometimes somebody will come in and sing, and an activity room. I think it is a good community for those who are in need of assisted living.

Keystone Villa at Douglassville was very nice, but it was too large. They have a lot of activities like van trips, crafts, and mental activities. It was clean, didn't smell, and had a very nice feel to it. The amenities were very nice, like the dining room and physical therapy room.

Keystone Villa at Douglassville is fairly close to family out of all the ones I looked at. The staff is very informative and very willing to listen to my needs. I’ve eaten there twice, and the food is very good. I like the rooms. I like the price. They’ll do my linens. I like the fact that it was continual care if I needed it. They had the camaraderie. I just like the feel and the whole atmosphere of the place.

My Mother recently passed away. She was a resident of the Memory Care unit for about three years. The staff is caring and treat residents with dignity and respect. The rooms are nice, the common areas clean and bright. Activities are conducted with the resident level of ability taken into consideration. Family and friends are encouraged to visit anytime.

We did check Keystone Villa in Douglassville and it's a very nice place. It's strictly for rental and it doesn't have the things that we would like e.g. a pool, a spa, and a good exercise facility. If you want to avail yourself of anything like that you got to take the transport to the YMCA and I don't think that's too good. It's a beautiful place but it's for people who really aren't very active and don't require a lot of activities although they do have functions going on all the time for the people that live there.

We chose this place because the atmosphere fit my dad. The rooms are a little larger. The food was fine. The activity was bonded in most places and they had trips and card games. I would recommend this to others.

We visited Keystone Villa, and the first thing I noticed was the friendliness of everyone there. They have a beautiful gazebo outside, with a small pond. Perfect for sunny days and just hanging out. The rooms were great --- very spacious, with an area for a living room and of course, a bath. Plenty of space for stuff and even furniture, and privacy for entertaining guests if you don't wanna do it outside in the gazebo or living room. The dining room was quite large, and we tried the food and it tasted great. They also have an activity room and library, which is very good. The facility is wonderful, and we just visited so I can't say much about the services, but the staff were really friendly and helpful when we were there.
