"I toured Riverton Enhanced Senior Livington. The staff was nice, and I liked the way they showed me around. The place and dining area were nice, but if you go to work out at the gym there, the gym is too small."

"Bethlehem Manor seemed very nice and well-staffed. I tried the food, and it seemed to be pretty nice. The rooms were spacious, and the community was very livable. I believe physical therapy was offered. The residents seemed to enjoy all the activities that they were doing and they seemed to look forward to doing them."

"We visited The Willow. It was very nice, but my father-in-law wanted to stay near his doctor. They were very nice and very friendly. The room was a one bedroom and it was very nice. They showed us everything. I remember the dining room and they had a library; it was very nice. They had a like a little garden that some of the residences could walk on, which was sweet. The outdoors had a very nice landscape."

"Renaissance Home Northampton was a nice place. When I got there, the staff was helping out the residents. They were having a game day or something like that. Everybody was out having a good time. You have to wear a mask though and I'm not into that. The staff was very helpful to me. They have a TV room, a game room, and an outdoor patio with gardens where they could plant flowers or vegetables."

"Atria Bethlehem personally looked good to me. It's a very nice place. I have no complaints. The people looked happy. We went early in the morning, so I'm not sure if everybody was up, but we saw two or three residents there, and they were pleasant. The staff was very helpful. A physical therapy person was there and did a mini-assessment. The rooms were very accommodating. It would serve the purpose. We didn't try their food, but it looked really nice. We went by the dining area and the rec room. The staff was very accommodating, answered questions, and was very welcoming. My cousins and the two aides that were with me were all impressed. It was very welcoming. I want to keep that in mind when I need something. They're very good with my uncle. It looked brand new."

"I could not have chosen a better place for my husband. Everything was always clean, the nurses and staff always caring and friendly, and all the residents seemed happy. I am very thankful that I chose Cornerstone and highly recommend."

"My sister moved up to Phoebe Richland Community. It was very welcoming. They gave her all the physical therapy she could handle, which was great. She had physical therapy almost every day and occupational therapy almost every day when she got there. She still gets it quite frequently. The staff is very nice. She enjoys the other residents there. She says she has a wonderful time getting to know them and they're very caring also. I was there one Saturday when the director himself was helping someone move into their memory care area. He was moving the clothing and stuff in himself on a Saturday. They're just delightful. There's an exercise class of some kind every morning, wheelchair volleyball, chair, or tai-chi. There's at least one activity every morning and one or two activities every afternoon. Every day I call or when I talk to my sister, she'll say, "Oh yes, we had an exercise this morning." It's a smaller place, so they can't offer the diversity of activities that a larger facility might offer. The assisted living has a beautiful lounge area when you walk in. The dining room is lovely. You couldn't ask for anything better. I get no complaints from my sister except there's no salt, but she can bring some herself. That's for health reasons. I saw two small library reading areas, a game room, a big lounge, and a dining room. She's in a temporary room right now because there were no rooms available, so it's a little small but very nice and furnished. It has a dresser, a wardrobe, a chair, a bed, a little kitchenette, and a beautiful bathroom that's handicapped accessible. It is less expensive than others for definitely something better. Their staff is especially caring. This place is much more consistent with their staffing, which means the staff gets to know their people better."

"Penn Assisted Care seemed very organized and well-staffed. The residents were very, very happy there, and everybody was very friendly. The staff who gave me the tour was really good. He was very patient and caring. He knew the residents and they knew him. He wasn't just the salesperson, he was involved with the residents there. The rooms were a nice size, and they were pretty much allowed to make it homey. I saw what they were eating and it looked like the normal home-cooked kind of food."

"We were at The Palmerton about two weeks ago. It was a very nice facility. We just didn't feel it was quite what we were looking for. It was very well laid out, seemed very clean, and orderly. Some of the residents were doing some puzzles, but no other physical activities were going on because it was pretty cold, so there wasn't much happening. The rooms were very nicely appointed. I guess there was a large and a small room. Some double rooms or rooms would have been shared. It seemed to me like they were set up very nicely. The staff members were very amenable, very informative, and very helpful."

"I toured Renaissance Home Forks, and there were only about 25 residents. They had everyone together: seniors and people who needed more care. I didn't feel that was the right fit for me. I would rather be in a more active senior place and a separate assisted living. It seemed like everything was together, and I wasn't happy with that situation. The facility was extremely clean. I met a few residents, and they seemed very friendly. It was a very nice place, except that it was small. The person who took me around was friendly and gave me a lot of information. I appreciated it but told them it wasn't what I was looking for."

"My mother is currently at Maidencreek Place. She has been there for a month now. She enjoys it. They're very attentive. It's very clean. It's accessible to me very easily. It's just the right place at the right time for my mother. She has a studio sort of apartment. I believe they're just about the same for everyone. "My wife and I would visit this facility to see my grandmother in law who suffered from alzheimer's disease. My wife and I both found the home to be appealing for many reasons. Upon arriving at he facilities front doors, it was always apparent that most of the clients appeared to be happy and content, sitting on the porch area or within the large living room area. The receptionists (there were a few of them) were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept clean, and as much as possible smelled that way as well. The meals were healthy and were above average for what you would expect at this type of facility. They also offered many activities and classes to keep active, healthy, and as mentally sharp as possible. There were adequate rooms, living and recreation areas, including outdoor areas to congregate. They also allowed the use of the reception hall for special occations for friends and family members. The family celebrated all of her birthdays there over the years. Overall, the experience was positive for her and the family. I would recommend the Manatawny Manor facility to future prospects in need of there services. I think our entire family would agree with this assessment. "

"We moved my mom to Saint Mary Manor. We choose it because it is closer to us, there seems to be some activities, and it is a Catholic community. People seem very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. She is in a shared room. The food has been good. They have mass every day, bingo, Pinochle, exercise class every day, and movies. They do take them out of the home once every couple of weeks to dinner or on a trip to Walmart or something like that. "
