"For the price that Bethlehem Manor is offering, everything is fine. The dining area is cheerful and very nice. The rooms are clean and spacious. We didn't see any activities going on at the time, but the staff members are good and pleasant."

"I toured Riverton Enhanced Senior Livington. The staff was nice, and I liked the way they showed me around. The place and dining area were nice, but if you go to work out at the gym there, the gym is too small."

"Renaissance Home Northampton was nice and homey. There were some outdated rooms, but they were in the process of updating them. The lady who assisted me was very nice and friendly. We went there at night, so most of the residents we saw were sitting outside, doing crossword puzzles, or just hanging out in their rooms."

"Whitehall Manor was OK. It was not quite as nice as the other places, but the other places are a lot more expensive. Selena took us around and she was great. She answered all our questions and gave us booklets and stuff. They had a nice second floor patio and an outside seating area around the pond. They had a fence on it, so the residents cannot just walk up and fall in. Those two areas are really, really nice features of the facility. Their apartments are set up differently. It is one long room where you have your bed, furniture, television, and a kitchenette with a microwave. It is a little dated, but everything is clean. They also had won the People's Choice awards for several years, so that is something to look at. It's in a residential neighborhood, so there are sidewalks for the residents to walk. The location is pretty good. It is just fifteen minutes away from our house. They have bus rides to doctor's appointments and certain trips as well. With the virus restrictions being lifted, they are going back to pretty much what they did before, like the casino trips, restaurant trips, and that kind of stuff."

"The only thing I didn't like was the shared part of the apartments. I don't think it would work out for my mother. They had a calendar of activities, but I didn't see any activities going on while I was there. They had a therapy room, but that was basically it. The staff members were pretty nice."

"We went to tour. I live in the area, so I’ve driven by it many times. I thought the place was immaculate; very clean. I thought it was a place that had elegance and sophistication. I did not get the feeling that it was a nursing home. I found it to be a very quiet place and that’s what I was looking for specifically for my father-in-law. The person who took us around -- her name was Melanie -- was very helpful. The apartments that we saw were lovely. I thought the rooms were spacious. They had very high ceilings. I saw the dining area. It seemed very nice. I did see the daily menu. It seemed fine. We saw the big calendar of activities, but that wasn’t really our main issue. My father-in-law is not a "joiner," so that’s not our concern. It certainly would have been the place I would have liked my father-in-law to go to if he decided to do this, but he decided not to. I thought the entire place had a really nice atmosphere; quiet and calm. I would recommend that others go and see it."

"My sister moved up to Phoebe Richland Community. It was very welcoming. They gave her all the physical therapy she could handle, which was great. She had physical therapy almost every day and occupational therapy almost every day when she got there. She still gets it quite frequently. The staff is very nice. She enjoys the other residents there. She says she has a wonderful time getting to know them and they're very caring also. I was there one Saturday when the director himself was helping someone move into their memory care area. He was moving the clothing and stuff in himself on a Saturday. They're just delightful. There's an exercise class of some kind every morning, wheelchair volleyball, chair, or tai-chi. There's at least one activity every morning and one or two activities every afternoon. Every day I call or when I talk to my sister, she'll say, "Oh yes, we had an exercise this morning." It's a smaller place, so they can't offer the diversity of activities that a larger facility might offer. The assisted living has a beautiful lounge area when you walk in. The dining room is lovely. You couldn't ask for anything better. I get no complaints from my sister except there's no salt, but she can bring some herself. That's for health reasons. I saw two small library reading areas, a game room, a big lounge, and a dining room. She's in a temporary room right now because there were no rooms available, so it's a little small but very nice and furnished. It has a dresser, a wardrobe, a chair, a bed, a little kitchenette, and a beautiful bathroom that's handicapped accessible. It is less expensive than others for definitely something better. Their staff is especially caring. This place is much more consistent with their staffing, which means the staff gets to know their people better."

"Phoebe Home is very nice. We saw the apartments, which were also very nice. We had a very nice lunch there, and the gentleman was absolutely wonderful, informative, and very friendly. They have a barber shop, beauty salon, and all sorts of activities, like bus trips to go shopping."

"My mother-in-law is a resident here. The office staff and wellness staff (in particular the woman on day shift at the front desk) are excellent and know me/us and who I am related to---they are very helpful, accomodating and caring and really work with us to provide the best possible care for her. The aides do a good job of personally caring for her too. "

"My mother is here. The staff are very caring with their patients. They make sure that they are taking care of the residents. It’s a nice and cozy facility with a fireplace with chairs. The place is also very clean. The food is all right. "

"Colonial Manor was fine. The staff was great. Everyone seemed very nice. The place was clean, and we liked it. We looked at the independent living cottages. They were new, spacious, well laid out, and nice. I saw a movie room, and there was a movie going on at that moment. They had game nights. They had something like senior prom dances and a lot of different events. It seemed like you could be as independent or dependent as you needed, and they would help you with that. As your needs changed, they seemed like they would accommodate you. "

"The hospital brought my mom to Heath Village for a rehabilitation service. The staff as well as the administration are all great. The facility seemed very nice. I can see that my mom is well taken care of. "

"Forest Manor Healthcare Center is an excellent facility. They specializes in long-term dementia and Alzheimer's. They also have a wing for rehabilitation if a person had fallen. The facility was really, really nice. The staff were very attentive, they make sure the patients are cared for. The place is clean, organized, there was enough staff available to take care of the patients. They have a wing dedicated for dementia where people are allowed to walk around. But if they went any further, alarms would go off. And then another wing for severe Alzheimer's patients that was securely locked down so they couldn't get out and wander. They just spent millions of dollars on a renovation. So it's fairly new. "
