My mother thrived at Riverwalk Village. The staff was so caring, becoming like family to my mom, sister and me. The facility itself is beautiful such a lovely setting along the river. My mother took pride in her Riverwalk Village home. I will be back to visit the staff and residents when in NJ this summer.

I would like to thank the Dining Services Manager and staff at House of the Good Shepherd –for creating a wonderful luncheon for our family recently. My Mother is a resident of HOTGS and we wanted to get her together with her cousins (both over 90 years of age and mobility restricted) Dining Services set up a beautiful private area in the Lodge (Dining Room), overlooking the River Walk, where our family enjoyed a delicious stress free luncheon buffet. There was plenty of room to maneuver the walkers and wheel chairs around the table, and the entire family had a very relaxing, happy afternoon….. along with plenty of rave reviews from our guests !

My mom was here. It is an excellent facility. Unfortunately, the administration changed direction as far as being able to service residents who were on Medicaid. And that's why my mom had to leave. So that was not a happy experience on her part, but I have nothing but good things to say. The staff is wonderful there, and it's a very clean and well taken care of facility. It's just that the Administration has decided they're not going to accept any Medicaid. They had their little happy hour social activities. They had the usual things, bingo and arts and crafts. They did offer trips into the community, but she wasn't too interested in that. The food was okay, it's fine but not as good as it used to be.
