"Glen Arden was good and very nice. The staff member who showed us around was very nice and the food was very good. The dining area looked like a restaurant. They have an indoor pool, exercise room, salon, and a woodworking room. The rooms are nice sized, clean, and modern."

"We visited a year ago, so everything was under COVID regulations. We only got to visit the rooms and dining room, but no one was being taken out to the dining room or going in activities because of COVID. The place was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were lovely. The staff members were very friendly. Overall, it seemed to be a very comfortable environment. The girl who gave us the tour was very helpful. She followed up with me occasionally to see if we were interested in any of the accommodations for my mother."

"Braemar Living at Wallkill was clean, pleasant, and very professional. The people who took me on the tour were very knowledgeable of all of the services that it provided. They were reassuring and answered questions intelligently. It was a place that I might be comfortable placing my mother in. I saw a shared apartment, but I was a little bit disappointed."

"My friend is a resident of Bentley Assisted Living at Branchville, and that's a wonderful place. My friend's room is wonderful. The staff there is great. They have a lot of activities for the residents. The food there is wonderful. I haven't seen anything bad about it. The facility is very nice and clean. There is parking available for residents who have cars. It looks like a great place. They have bingo, exercise, and they take them out shopping at least once a week."

"My wife was in Barn Hill, and I would say it was a nice place. I thought the care was very good. They even greeted me like an old friend. I liked it. She was in the Alzheimer's section, and they take care of them great. They had a movie almost every day, and when they didn't have a movie, they played games, they had a little activity going on, and we know that most Alzheimer's patients can't do everything. I thought it was a section that was specialized for Alzheimer's or people like that, and it was very good. They don't let them walk alone; the staff there was excellent. It seemed like an older facility. I think it was a nice clean place even as the older section. Anything that was dropped on the floor was quickly picked up; it was clean. Everything seemed to be in order, great. It was good. "

"My dad loved living at Merriam Manor, he was there for 2 years. The staff is caring, concerned, and helps with all duties of daily living. The food is good, home made meals, vegetables, fruit, puddings, roasts, mashed potatoes.The activity includes bingo, karaoke, cards, bouncing a ball. The rooms are very clean, some have stained glass, marble fireplace, high ceilings, wood floors. The family room is nice with large furniture and a large flat screen TV, book shelves. You feel like living at home, not a facility."

"I was treated very nicely at United Methodist Communities at Bristol Glen and I had a very nice time there. The apartment was immaculate. Everything was how one would like it. Everything was up-to-date. The place was clean, it didn't smell, it was bright and cheerful, and it wasn't like a nursing home. The residents seemed to have their freedom and they looked happy and content."

"The staff is great at Westwind Manor. They take very good care of my mother. She says the food is okay although sometimes the food is not hot by the time it's served to her. "

"Toured the facility and it was beautiful! Rooms were clean. Staff was everywhere assisting people with smiles and laughs painted across their faces. Marsha was so nice to us and Jennifer is a wealth of knowledge. We had so many questions and these ladies were so patient and kind. We will be ready by summer to make the move with our mom! Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful facility, very well kept, very clean, hardworking overly kind staff, top of the like management, very involved nurses. Residents are kept clean, as are their rooms. Residents seem very happy, laughing and smiling. Many activities, in-house therapy, variety of meals, facility doctor, hair salon, exceptional all around great care to all residents. Staff go above and beyond. Very home like facility, the second you walk in. The tour we received sold us. Very in depth, she is very compassionate, knows every detail of her facility to explain in depth. Visit your loved one anytime with no heads up, and you will see for yourself residents and facility immaculate. The manager is more involved than any manager I’ve met with at any facility, business, etc. "

"Forest Manor Healthcare Center is an excellent facility. They specializes in long-term dementia and Alzheimer's. They also have a wing for rehabilitation if a person had fallen. The facility was really, really nice. The staff were very attentive, they make sure the patients are cared for. The place is clean, organized, there was enough staff available to take care of the patients. They have a wing dedicated for dementia where people are allowed to walk around. But if they went any further, alarms would go off. And then another wing for severe Alzheimer's patients that was securely locked down so they couldn't get out and wander. They just spent millions of dollars on a renovation. So it's fairly new. "

"My Grandmother is currently at Twin Cedar, The facility is clean, the team is great and super receptive to her. My Grandmother says the food is great and that everything is peaceful! I am just so happy to know that they take COVID-19 seriously as they were not affected at all from the virus and took the necessary precautions in making sure that all their Residents including my dear Grandmother were safe and secure while being able to enjoy their time and retirement . Definitely a 5 star +"

"I went to The Carlucci Home - Assisted Living for Ladies. It was a really wonderful tour. The nurses on-staff and the woman who runs the organization were incredibly friendly and informative. I felt like I learned a lot about what a high level of care that my grandma deserves, and I just felt very supported. I think it's about 20 bedrooms. It's incredibly clean and well set up. There's a lot of nurses on-staff. They seemed really kind and caring. They had both semiprivate and private rooms. They had a number of activities that they do, like a number of crafting activities (and I know there's more than that). The food looked really good. We were there when they were eating lunch, and it looked delicious."

"I toured the house of the good shepherd this past week and was extremely surprised such a good place for the elderly existed. I couldn't find one thing wrong. It appears there is everything there-p.o., bank, atm, beauty facility, chapel, exercise room, beautiful dining room and excellent service and food. everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and there to assist. there were many more amenities but I think you get the gist. I will gladly go there when my time comes--which will probably be soon. "
