"I went to The Carlucci Home - Assisted Living for Ladies. The staff is absolutely lovely. I was there for about an hour. They are very, very competent people. The food is excellent. I would eat the food. The place is very clean. They have tons of activities. I saw pictures with different groups from the neighborhood, like Girl Scouts come in, Boy Scouts come in, other groups during holidays, they have a lot. They have a full agenda that is clearly visible. The room settings, I guess you could get a studio or a separate room, but the room that I was trying to get for my friend is two bedrooms, and so you have a roommate. You don't have to have a roommate. I thought it was super good, very good, and to add to that, they have advanced skilled care, like say if you need for whatever reason more help than assisted living. Assisted living is basically they're providing you meals, helping you with what you need, but if you get a little stick or something like that, or maybe can't do what you normally do, then they are qualified to help to do that. They have a nurse on staff. They have a social worker right there. Everything is right there. I thought that was ideal, but she didn't want to pay that much money, which I thought was fair. But she didn't want to pay that amount of money, but it was like I thought that was the best place that I visited."

"My friend is a resident of Bentley Assisted Living at Branchville, and that's a wonderful place. My friend's room is wonderful. The staff there is great. They have a lot of activities for the residents. The food there is wonderful. I haven't seen anything bad about it. The facility is very nice and clean. There is parking available for residents who have cars. It looks like a great place. They have bingo, exercise, and they take them out shopping at least once a week."

"my mother was a resident for 9 months. she has dementia and recieved excellent care with great attention to safety concerns. the nurses are on top of everything and quickly picked up that she was in heart failure and got her the care she needed and saved her life. i was always called immediately if there was any change in her condition. she and i were alwAYS treated with caring, courtesy and respect.the facility is very clean and well maintained.Unfortunately she had a stroke and had to move a higher level of care but I will always be greatful for the wonderful care she received here. "My dad loved living at Merriam Manor, he was there for 2 years. The staff is caring, concerned, and helps with all duties of daily living. The food is good, home made meals, vegetables, fruit, puddings, roasts, mashed potatoes.The activity includes bingo, karaoke, cards, bouncing a ball. The rooms are very clean, some have stained glass, marble fireplace, high ceilings, wood floors. The family room is nice with large furniture and a large flat screen TV, book shelves. You feel like living at home, not a facility."

"My wife was in Barn Hill, and I would say it was a nice place. I thought the care was very good. They even greeted me like an old friend. I liked it. She was in the Alzheimer's section, and they take care of them great. They had a movie almost every day, and when they didn't have a movie, they played games, they had a little activity going on, and we know that most Alzheimer's patients can't do everything. I thought it was a section that was specialized for Alzheimer's or people like that, and it was very good. They don't let them walk alone; the staff there was excellent. It seemed like an older facility. I think it was a nice clean place even as the older section. Anything that was dropped on the floor was quickly picked up; it was clean. Everything seemed to be in order, great. It was good. "

"I placed my mother at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab because she needed therapy for her fractured hip. the nursing staff are excellent. They always attended to my mom's needs and I often saw they treat all the patients there like family. "

"My friend is a resident of Arcadia Residence, and almost everybody is bunked down with two people two beds in a room, and a TV in there. Fortunately, she's been in there by herself, mostly for the last three or four months, because when she's not in there by herself and when there is a roommate, then she has no place to go to have a little peace. I see that they give her food every day, three meals, but it's not much. The food could be upgraded. There's not enough staff. There are a lot of people there, and there's only so much room in the place, and people are practically bumping into each other. The bathroom facilities are not enough. They've got too many people and too few of everything."
