My aunt moved in. It was beautiful. I got to see the entire building. I got to see the memory unit where my aunt would be at. I got a lot of information that day on the services, and what is required to kind of move in there. This is her third week there. This room is beautiful. It's very modern. It has a personal bathroom and a small kitchenette area. It has room for everything she needs. She has reported the food is good. I was happy to hear that. The dining area is set up like a restaurant. It is modern, bright, and inviting. It looks like a restaurant. It's very nice. I did get to see the activities. My aunt can't participate in those because she's in the memory unit. So they have their own activities. My aunt is in the memory unit which is a smaller unit, they call it the country cottage. I don't know why, but it's not exactly a cottage. It's part of their building. It's a unit, it's nice, it's set up nicely.

I liked Mira Vie at West Milford. The lady that showed us around was nice and good. I appreciated her. They showed me one and two-bedroom apartments, and the two-bedroom was what I was most interested in. The price was half of what the other places were for studios. The amenities were nice, too. They were great. It was a nice place, and they gave me a pie.

My mother will be moving in. The reason I chose them was because they had independent living. The other places I went to had said she could live there independently, but we would wind up paying for assisted living, and we wouldn't be using it. So, that was one of the factors. The place was very nice. They made sure when the resident likes bingo they go to bingo. They would cater to them a little bit and make sure that they're not just sitting in their apartments. The apartment had a full kitchen, a full-sized refrigerator, a four-burner stove, a microwave, countertops, and a sink. They would go to the dining room for dinner, which we thought would be good because it would get her out and get her social. Breakfast and lunch, you could make your own, or you could add it to the list. They had their own hairdressers that came in. They had doctors that come in. They bus them over to Shoprite to go food shopping. They would take them to doctors' appointments. They would take them out to dinner in groups. They had a lot of nice features there. She could transition from independent living to assisted living, which was all in the same building. Everyone there was very nice. I met the physical therapists and a lot of people that work there. I met the guy that drives the bus to take them around. They were very attentive, very nice, and just seemed like they would take care of my mom really well. They were very helpful and everybody was very pleasant. We did run into a few women that live there as we were walking around, and their interaction with my mom was really nice. I would feel comfortable with my mother there.

I like it to the point that I would definitely want my parents to move there. I was pleased with everything and everything was good. The person who showed me around was very helpful, pleasant, and friendly. They have several different activities which were applicable and appropriate for our different needs, like exercising in a chair, and art activities. I was sent home with some delicious scones.

The staff is fine. My apartment is very nice and the food is very good. We have a lot of activities here like comic nights, movies, Poker nights, and we have happy hour every day where we get to have beer. I think it is a very good community. We like each other, we get together and talk, and we have a lot of fun.

It is so much homier than some of the other places I've seen. They have lots of different things to do and take people to the doctors. The staff seems very nice. It is the only place where I can potentially bring my parents to live.

It was a nice facility, but their rooms were very small, like studio flats. They had an art room, a salon, and game room.

My mom is here, and she’s stable, calm and getting adjusted. The staff is very caring. It is very clean and very nice. It is a very pretty facility. The dining room is very nice, and she always liked the food; she thought it was very good. It always seemed the residents are very lively, sitting down and conversing. The dining room looked like a restaurant. Mother has a private room and when you have to share, you just share a bathroom.

What I liked is that the rooms were nice, big, and bright. The one room that we looked at in particular had a nice little outdoor patio. The staff seemed to know everybody by their first names and I liked that. They were also kind enough to spend time with me answering all my questions. They really seemed to respect the residents. They care for them a lot and they wanted the residents to have much stimulation within the day. There were a lot of things going on there. We did see various activities as they were happening. They also have a vegetable garden that the residents were working on which was also very nice.
