"The Pines at Poughkeepsie seems to be on top of things. They helped hook me up with additional services, my Medicaid application, and a program that works with the patients aside from the service provided by the nursing home. They have a common room where they do activities, people who come in and play guitar, and movies from time to time. If a resident has to go to their doctor's appointment, they have a service to take them. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive to their patients. There are times that the common room is a bit too quiet, so maybe they could have some background music to help keep the atmosphere engaging."

"My uncle is staying at Highland Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. I like them. They're reasonable people. I don't see anybody with an attitude, looking down at the patients, avoiding them, or such things. A lot of food is wasted because some people depend on their disposition that day. They may not eat, or they'll pick out a little bit. The facility is modern but not brand new or in good shape. I did not see messes or evidence of disregard for the facility by those responsible for maintaining it. It's not like every floor shined to a complete mirror finish every day, but it's clean. They potentially have some activities. I saw a crafts activity in a recreation area for a group, but at this point in their lives, they're not participating. We chose Highland Rehabilitation & Nursing Center because they have beds available, they would accept my uncle, and they could address his needs."

"The appearance of Middletown Park Rehab and Health Care Center was OK. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean. They had different areas for rehabilitation and therapies. They had a nice area for guests. "

"Mom had stayed at Elant for short-term rehab. The place was nice and clean. Everything was fine and I liked it a lot. The staff was fine, hardworking, nice, helpful and friendly. They did a very good job getting her up on her feet and walking again. She had a smaller private room with a private bath, which was spacious enough for her. The food was fine and it only cost me $2 dollar if I ate with her. However, they didn't have enough activities to keep her busy so she got bored and she kept trying to escape from there. They needed to have more activities. "

"Elant Inc was great and almost like the grounds of a nursing home where they make sure you get your meds and everything. They showed me one specific room, which was a studio."

"I had to put my mom in nursing home when I lost her caregiver unexpectedly. Within 1 weeks time I was able to get her in long term care. She has dementia which made it difficult to care for her as I worked full time. Heather was very professional and compassionate. This was very difficult for me and emotional. The staff met my mom at the door very welcoming. My mom was happy which made me happy. Everything went so smoothly. I realize now this was the only place for her. My mom is getting along well and is even helpful to other patients. All of this was conveyed to me by Heather and Randi. The whole staff has been in touch with me trying to get me to feel comfortable and asking what makes my mom happy. Thank you also Nicole, Clarissa, Sam, Sharda and Dr. Weissman. This isn't a nursing home it is a community that care about their patients and family members as well. I highly recommend Valley View. Do not hesitate to put your family member here. Thank you."

"My mom was a resident of Montgomery Nursing Home. The care was very attentive. It was much older, but they were very hands on and supportive. I think that the level of care was very good. However, they could probably use some modernization like fresh paint. They did some nice activities. They were attentive, and it was everything you want in terms of attention. They had different things for them to socialize, but that was before Covid. I can't speak to anything else. She was there for a rehabilitative program and was there for about four or five months. They had a nice dining hall. They had people come in and do activities with them. They had an outdoor courtyard. I know they had a separate recreation room that they use for things. They did singing, games, and hangman with them. They had people come in and sing with a guitar, and that kind of stuff. Ninety percent of the staff was accommodating and helpful. There were one or two that were a little abrupt, short, and didn't follow up with things. There was a time when she was having an X-ray done or something. I don't know if it was for her heart, and we were waiting on that. I don't remember exactly, but I just know we had one or two difficult people. For the most part, they were wonderful, but I think you get that anywhere."

"My husband is in Schervier Pavilion. The nursing care is excellent. The doctor is very caring. Generally speaking, it's a pleasure to be there. I've spent days there myself keeping him company and they're very kind. He's a difficult patient, and they never lose their temper. He's difficult in that he's not eating, so they try to coax him into eating and try to please him in any way they can. They like him, and he enjoys them as well. He likes his physical therapist, so he's giving him full cooperation. Generally speaking, we're very, very pleased, me and the family. I tasted the food for my husband because he won't eat it, so I tasted it, and it's quite delicious. I tried to coax him into eating it, that's why I tasted it. I tell him, 'The queen has a taster, so she doesn't get poisoned, so I will taste your food so I could tell you how good or bad it is.' It's usually 99% of the time quite good. He doesn't go to any activities because he doesn't want to be there, so he's being very adamant about doing anything. He does go to physical therapy, he likes the therapists, but he doesn't go to any programs. They do have quite a number of programs every week, but he doesn't go to anything. It's all covered by Medicare and AARP."

"My mom was in rehab at St Josephs Place for a few weeks. They were helpful. I thought they were good and tried to stay on top of things. My mom shared a room with another person. The room is one of our problems. The roommate was lovely. She had the window side, and my mom had the inside bed. It was very squished. She sat in a chair in the corner which was very depressing. It was a nursing home and rehab. They had the patients mixed together, so my mom was in with a lady who was a permanent resident of the nursing home. I think they should separate them. The lady was lovely, but she couldn't hear, and my mother couldn't hear, so they couldn't converse. They both have hearing problems. The curtain was always closed over because the other person was 101 years old, and she slept most of the day. The curtain is always drawn, and my mother was in the dark corner of the room, so it was very depressing. They had bingo, and they have some crafty things. They have some activities for her to go to, but my mother is the uncooperative one. She didn’t want to do to anything. They have a dining room which was kind of dreary. They have a lot of patients who were definitely nursing home patients sitting in wheelchairs who were kind of out of it. My mom's brain is very intact, so she had a lot of problems there. The place was depressing to be in, but they did take good care of her. "

"My wife is at Delaware Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I like the facility. They have excellent nurses, and they take care of her very well. I'm very happy with the service that they are providing. I have tried the food, too, and she is very happy with the meals there. She doesn't like cornbread but I do, so I ate that because I was there at lunchtime, and it was very good. It's a brand new place, it is only one year old, so everything is in excellent condition. She has been to rehab. They have sort of like a gym. It's not a gym, but it has recovery equipment there that you can use. This place is excellent. I'm very happy with it. Insurance has been taking care of things."

"I would rate Elant at Meadow Hill a five for the nurses and the aides. The staff has been wonderful to my friend. The place is spotless, and there is no smell. They could improve their parking space. There are around twelve parking spots in the front for a facility with 300 people. The management we don't care about, but as far as the nursing staff goes and the aides and all of them, they are absolutely wonderful. "

"My Mother was placed in Elant Beacon after medication management in another Facility Senior Behavioral in Sharon CT. My Mom had been diagnosed with Dementia at age 69.I was concerned about the diagnosis at such a young age as well as the level of care she would receive. I found Elant to be a wonderful and safe environment where my Mom was treated with respect and dignity. The staff was pleasant. and very willing to address my questions and concerns. The Social workers returned phone calls and made themselves accessible. I was impressed with the CNAs and there dedication to the residents as well as the short term rehabilitation patients. My Mother who has always been somewhat shy and anxious was put at ease by the nurses and staff. I know that unfortunately my Mom will eventually will not be able to remain home, however it's good to know that she will have a place to go that is close to home and a safe and comfortable environment for my her. I highly recommend Elant of Beacon. "

"My grandmother has been at this facility for the past 5 years. She was diagnosed with alzheimer's and we were unable to take care of her. The facility is very clean and the people there are courteous and kind to my grandmother. I dont see any problems with the facility and really appreciate all the hard work the staff does. "

"I was a patient here for almost one month and the staff and care was exceptional! I went to rehab 6 days a week and the therapists made my rehab lots of fun. The nurses and aides were professional and caring. The social workers helped to get me home and arranged for rehabilitation services in my home. The social workers have enormous patience! I can't say enough good things about my experience there, especially at a time in my life when I needed a lot of help."

"Avoid this place if possible. Very understaffed and patients must wait up to 45 minutes to use the bathroom. Staff hide from the request bells and seem to disappear. Many of the CNAs have bad attitudes. The food is not good. Each room has a TV per patient. The floors are not swept everyday. Many activities for patients to participate in."

"My Grandmother was here for rehabilitation and then went to Long term. There was no way that I could afford to quit my job so I had to put her in a Nursing home, something no one wants to be in a position to do. The Mountain view was my first choice why? No change over in staff or very little. Happy workers make happy caregivers. The kindness that was bestowed upon her was beyond words from the staff all the way up to the Administrator. I could not say enough about how wonderful this Nursing Home is. The staff make the patients life what it is not the other patients who will sometimes yell or curse as most have some form of dementia. I have seen some unreasonable family members carry on and yell and scream at the nurses and Doctors in front of patients and others stemming from frustration that their family member is either sick or dieing and I guess feeling helpless. I have watched the Nurses here when they thought no one was looking being caring and loving toward the patients. The room, hallways and general areas were clean, no smell of urine and the housekeeping staff take great pride in their work as some have been there for over 20 years, this to me speaks volumes! The patients are all clean, well fed and dressed and washed everyday. My Grandmother was changed and never was wet or unkept. The food was great with optional menus if you wanted something different plus anytime I asked for snacks or drinks they were provided as well. My Grandmother passed away before I could get there in time and the staff stayed with her so she was not alone. I could not ask for more. I give this place 5 stars all the way! "

"Complete Care at Milford Manor is a clean place. It isn't the best, but it is OK. Some of the staff are very nice. Some of them are not and unhelpful. My father's room is spacious and clean. They have bingo, people that put on shows, and music. The dining area is clean and good. They also have an activities room and a library. Probably one thing they could improve on is to get more staff. I think they're short staffed."
