"My father has been in the Dumont center for 2, years.  I appreciate the care and attention the staff provides him. Everyone assist him with all his needs. My family and feel that he’s in a safe place. I would recommend this facility to everyone, we know that he is safe there. 5 star staff in our eyes. Thank you for all that you do. "

"Other than parking, Hopkins Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare was very nice. The lobby was pleasant. When they took me up to see the floors, the facility was pretty clean. The residents that I met there were pleasant. Sometimes, you tour a nursing home and they look miserable, and they didn't seem that way there. The staff was pleasant. They have an activity calendar for the month and they had several things to do daily. Usually in the summertime because it's warm, they have a barbecue every Wednesday. They have a backyard where the residents can go and that was nice, very peaceful, and very green. The dining area was clean, pretty new, and good-sized, and they had a menu. It impressed me. The staff was very helpful and informative. I felt comfortable. I didn't get a bad vibe."

"My mom is a resident of Lakeland Health Care Center. It's very clean and friendly. It seems like a warm place. It's not as big as some other places are. It's more personal. The people I've dealt with have been nice. When you ask them questions, they respond. I've called certain times and sometimes they aren't able to pick up because they're busy, but they do call back. They make an effort. They'll call somebody and they'll page people. They will talk to you and they'll answer your questions. So the staff is friendly, and it seems that they care about the people. She's in a room with another patient, which is fine. I have relatives that have been there when she's been given her food and for the most part, she eats it. It seems like she's fine with it. Sometimes there are certain things she doesn't like, but I go over the menu and she has certain food restrictions that we follow, but overall it's good. They're giving her some physical therapy while she's there. She's not as involved as other people might be in activities because she's 94 and she has dementia. I haven't been there for them to see the activities, but I know they do have a calendar of activities of what they do and everything."

"My Uncle has been at The Wanaque Center for a while and the care is so great. This is my uncles 2nd facility and this facility is way better than the first one. The nurses and the aids are always ready to help when I needed them to help me with my uncle. When you walk through the halls or when I visit in the day room the other residents are all happy, During holidays and events the building has home cooked meals so my husband and I can eat with my uncle. Last thanksgiving they even carved a big turkey in the dayroom. This spring its been nice to see that they take my uncle and his roommate on their new outdoor patio area that has bright, colorful plants, and new canopy. I am happy knowing hes in a safe place like this where people really seem to care. I recommend this facility to anyone who needs to place their loved ones. "

"As the prospective patient, I did my homework. After visiting a number of in-network facilities covered by my insurance carrier, I was confident that The Health Center at Bloomingdale was the place for me. I am an outgoing friendly person, and I wanted to feel comfortable in my new surroundings. Everyone – the front desk, the cleaning crew, the nurses and aides – greeted residents by name and with true concern for their comfort. The focal point of rehab for me was to re-enter the workplace and continue my life being physically fit to enjoy kayaking and chasing after my granddaughter. The PT room and work stations at Bloomingdale were immaculate. On one of my visits, a therapist was working one-on-one with an elderly patient. Two things were immediately clear to me: (1) The patient – though tentative about her ability to move from the wheelchair to the walker – was at ease with the therapist. (2) The patient had the PT’s total attention, despite the unannounced visitors in the doorway. Bloomingdale’s OT offerings included a full working kitchen and bathroom facilities with a tub. Every part of this designated area was clean, with all weights, bands, balls, putties, etc. neatly stored at the beginning of the work day, as well as after hours. My intake visit with the Physical Therapist on my first day confirmed my initial impressions of The Health Center at Bloomingdale. My PT wanted to know all about me before I blew out my knee, and more importantly, he wanted to know what my expectations were post rehab. There was absolutely nothing cookie-cutter about my physical rehab at The Health Center at Bloomingdale! Rehab was tailored to meet my specific immediate medical needs and end-result expectations. Daily PT and OT included “homework” I was willing and able to do in my room on my own. Seven days each week we worked as a well-oiled team to achieve mutually identified needs and wants. As I prepare to re-join my family and colleagues at work, I do so knowing that I selected the most appropriate rehab facility for me. I did my homework; I worked diligently within the confines of a rigorous, demanding rehab protocol; I collaborated with a supportive team of professionals. The Health Center at Bloomingdale was everything I needed – and more! "

"We were able to put my father in Oak Ridge for a couple of weeks before he passed away. The facility was close. They were very accommodating. The facility was quiet. It wasn't loud, and it was very calm there. I felt that they took good care of my father. "

"Lake view has been the best experience for my loved one . My fiancés grandfather was treated with moral respect throughout the facility. My loved one had a knee replacement and was admitted to lake view and this was the best choice we could have ever made . From the caseworkers visiting us at the hospital to the admissions director Zelmy giving us the opportunity to be a part of the lake view family . The nurses , aides, social workers and everyone were always happy to be at work . Not a day goes by that I regret bringing my loved one to this facility. As per my loved one food was beyond great felt like a home cooked meal every night . The food was always warm and and delivered in a timely manner . Call bells are retrieved in a timely manner . If it wasn't a nurse that came into the room to help, it was another employee from the facility that entered the room to make sure everything was okay . There wasn't a day that the call bell was on and someone passed by without asking if my loved one was okay . Facility was kept well maintained and cleaned at all times. The administrator Brian , would randomly come in and ask if we were okay and if anything was needed . The rehab director Kerry was phenomenal and had my loved one up and going within a few weeks. When oxygen was needed Yvonne did not hesitate to come into the room and assist . When being discharged come , there was no problems with medications and orders . Nicole the social worker made sure that everything was in order and accessible before the discharge . The discharge process was easier than any other facility we have been to . Overall , I would definitely recommend lake view to other families, friends . There wasn't any disappointments . "

"We recently brought mom for sub acute rehab at Oakland. We choose Oakland due to its CNS 5 star rating and also through referrals from our family and friends. This place is extremely neat and clean. The staff is top notch. They really take care of people with integrity, honesty and warm hearts. They understand mom’s condition and are very creative in administering therapy. We have seen some results in just 3 days. We give this place a 5 star ourselves and would recommend this place to anyone who demands the best for their loved one."

"In general, my visit in Cedar Crest was fine. Some of the people working there were helpful. The living quarters looked fine but walking down through those long halls was not a good thing for my wife. I needed a place that was a little bit smaller. The food was good but I did not like the fact that I had to eat in their restaurant at least once a day. They seemed to have a lot of amenities and a lot of things to do as far as I could tell. Everything was good in the community. I just didn't want the hotel-like feeling from those infinitely long hall ways. "

"My mother is in the Llanfair Care and Rehabilitation Center dementia ward. The nurses are caring. They're limited to one floor because the dementia patients are a flight risk, but they go down for physical therapy if they need it. They give them showers on a schedule, and they try to keep everything as normal as possible. They bring in a person to play the piano, which calms them, and they have movie days. They're very good and very caring. It's very challenging dealing with a population that can't regulate their own behavior, but they're patient. The food tastes good, they season it, and they're able to accommodate choking hazards. They keep their place and the patients clean, they clean the rooms, and they change the linens. The place is attractive and modernized."

"My mother is undergoing rehab at CareOne at Wayne. It's perfect for her needs, and it's total care. What made it a really good place was the activities coordinator. Mother gets depressive episodes once in a while, and whenever she goes through that, she was able to be calmed down by just the facility personnel without the use of any medication, and that's what makes it really good for us. I haven't had any complaints. The food in the dining area is very adequate; they don't have a lot of selections, but it's good. Services provided are basically rehab, healthcare, evaluation assessments, 24/7 nursing care, monitoring by nursing staff, and medications. Nurse practitioners are monitoring them, too, with doctor coverages. The staff is great. Her room is clean, and she's got a single room right now, which is good."

"My Uncle was a patient in Sub Acute. The staff were very attentive and caring. The rooms/building are clean and beautifully decorated. "

"Complete Care at Milford Manor is a clean place. It isn't the best, but it is OK. Some of the staff are very nice. Some of them are not and unhelpful. My father's room is spacious and clean. They have bingo, people that put on shows, and music. The dining area is clean and good. They also have an activities room and a library. Probably one thing they could improve on is to get more staff. I think they're short staffed."

"The Atrium of Wayne was a nice place to stay. My grandmother had been a resident for 2 years before her passing. When first walking into the facility it was very comfomfortable, It almost seemed like a hotel. The staff was friendly in greeting visitors and were very helpful when people didnt know where to go. The Atrium also had a pet friendly policy which I loved because my grandmother always wanted to be visited by my dog. They also had a nurse with a therapy dog that would visit on occasion. The Atrium had a nice hair salon for residents which made my grandmother very happy because she also loved looking her best! They have a nice outdoor patio where residents can sit and play games or visit with family and friends. The only reason I give The Atrium 4 out of 5 stars is because it was very very expensive and although there was lots of things to do, my grandmother was often lonely. I wish they had extra staff to visit with the residents more often than they did, for the money paid. Other than that I would suggest the Atrium to a friend. "
