My mother is in the Llanfair Care and Rehabilitation Center dementia ward. The nurses are caring. They're limited to one floor because the dementia patients are a flight risk, but they go down for physical therapy if they need it. They give them showers on a schedule, and they try to keep everything as normal as possible. They bring in a person to play the piano, which calms them, and they have movie days. They're very good and very caring. It's very challenging dealing with a population that can't regulate their own behavior, but they're patient. The food tastes good, they season it, and they're able to accommodate choking hazards. They keep their place and the patients clean, they clean the rooms, and they change the linens. The place is attractive and modernized.
