"The facilities were very nice and updated. The outside was also nice, but more parking is definitely needed. The staff were generally nice, but some were not as knowledgable as they should have been about my grandma's condition. The amenities were nice, there was even a hair salon on the 2nd floor where residents can get their hair done. The eating area was also updated and bright and cheery. Overall, a very nice facility! "

"My mother has been at this facility for the past month and a half, and its great. I visit her every weekend, and everyone is so delightful. My mom's had attitude has done a complete 180! She had no desire to go to a facility, but she loves it there now. I know Ms. Charles has been a big part of that and keeping her happy! Its also very nice that it is in a beautiful area and close to home about a 15 minute walk away in Park Slope. Keep up the great work Hopkins!"

"Ditmas Park Rehab or as the people here say "Ditmas", is a great facility. My family member was here over the last few months and we are all very happy. Rehab: The rehab downstairs is unbelievable. The therapists are patient and understanding. The progress my loved one made was honestly not in our slightest dreams. Nurses: The nursing staff are top - notch. Medications are given on time and with a smile. Meals: The food here is actually quite good. We are always offered complimentary guest trays when we come visit. As much as people think that all rehab center/hospital food tastes the same, this doesn't. Administration/Social Workers: Very accessible. The administrator and his assistant do daily rounds and have a good grip over what goes on on every floor. There is a lot of construction going on because they are expanding into a brand new facility with other services. Don't let that turn you away. We are really happy with the care here and would recommend this to everyone!!"

"Dry Harbor is so much better than the other facilities we saw in the research stage. First of all, they are not a chain - they actually focus on the care of their patients / clients. Despite having 360 beds, they have get processes in place to make sure every resident gets their fair share of attention. I think the thing that shocked me the most is that the food served there was actually good! That was a very pleasant surprise. The only downside is the elevator which could use replacing. "

"I had intense pain from 4 fractured ribs and 2 CNA's and a man from housekeeping figured out which mattress to get me! THAT is how my experience at Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset began - and it only got better from there. In every department, my experiences have been much more than I ever hoped they would be. The people who helped me, the skills, warmth and commitment to me - all the patient interactions I saw - where what helped me learn more, feel better faster, and feel empowered. I can't imagine care more individualized, programs being more appropriate - I can take this home with me! The food I had here was delicious as well. "I have to share how I feel about the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation. The place is beautiful and comfortable to visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful with all our needs. Starting with Executive Administrator all the way to the hospitality staff, they’re 5 star. My mother has been a resident for five months, on the third floor unit, and the improvement in her is night & day. She was unsure about staying, but now she is one of the staff as she walks around making others feel at home. I can go on forever with my gratitude, but I’ll stop. I just have to thank you, Dumont Center, for giving my family and I the confidence to place our loving mother in your care. For ever grateful!"

"Crane’s Mill had a VERY nice and well organized group of people. They were very friendly too, and it seems it had happy people there. They have quite a bit of activities. They have exercise and religious programs, and they take you out to other communities. The young man who assisted us was great. "

"My only negative is not the fault of the facility, but logistics, I wanted a home nearer to our home so we could continue to visit with her 2o 3 times a week. This did not happen, so we ended up at West Caldwell Care. I must say that knowing she is being well taken care of when we are not there is a blessing. The recreation staff is keeping her "entertained" and the nursing staff is seeing to it that she is well cared for. Whenever we go to she her she is dressed, and clean. as is her room and bedding. "Canterbury in Cedar Grove, New Jersey is a phenomenal nursing home. My grandfather was there for 2 weeks to 1 month. The place is very clean and the lobby is very trendy. The nurses take amazing care of their patients and are very friendly. The nurses were professional but grew to have relationships with their patients. They kept the patients and the facilities safe and clean. One of the perks to the nursing home was the location, it is off a main road and very private. The best part was the events and activates they offered to their patients. They had weekend events that included a Circus Day with petting zoo. The facility really took the time to protect, take care of their patients, and to make sure they had a good time. The physical therapy aspect was very good as well; nurses pushed their patients but not too far. "

"My mother-in-law was at Arbor Glen for rehabilitation for almost a month after a fall, the care that she received from the nurses, aides, and the therapist was extraordinary. the staff was helpful and caring."

"Its a Nice place. A nursing home cannot watch your loved one constantly. I'm told its one of the better Nursing homes in the area. This is my first experience with ANY nursing home. I have things I'm not happy about, however when you cannot care for someone at home any longer, you have no choice unfortunately. Over all I think its a good place "

"My grandfather stays at Waterview Center. He had a bed, a blanket, and a pillow. They would clean his room every morning and every night before he went to sleep. Everybody is kind to him, and they treat him really good and nicely. The only problem is we ask them several times to bathe him because he would spit up a lot. We went everyday, and they told us that they do it, but he would always be dirty when we went to see him. "

"I visited this facility and i loved everything about it. Staff were so friendly and kind. Everyone was welcoming to me. I ate lunch with my loved one, everything was delicious. The therapy staff was great. My loved one was up and walking very shortly after arriving at the facility. They have a beautiful patio were residents and families can sit outside. Rooms are clean and smell great. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone! "
