"South Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has been great. They've been amazing. The staff has been very helpful in this journey, and they've made her stay very pleasant. She does like the food there. The facility is very nice and comfortable. They are very well taken care of, I would say. She's not in a position where she can use those facilities at this time. The staff has been great from the admissions to the social worker, to the physician assistant, the physician, and the nurses, they're all great."

"I want to first start off by saying Thank You to Hopkins for doing what they do!! They exceeded all expectations!! From when you walk into the building everyone is amazing and super nice. The lobby is quite nice. The staff is wonderful. The recreation team always have programs and events going on keeping everyone busy and smiling. The rooms are tidy and neat - housekeeping does a fantastic job of keeping the building clean. If you ever have an issue with anything, the maintenance department has got you covered in a flash! Whenever we had a question about mom - her social worker was always able to help and get us in touch with the right person. Again Thank you thank you! We can't thank you enoughtfor taking care of our Mother!!!"

"I came to Dry Harbor to undergo rehabilitation after leg surgery. My first impression was that they are very careful about Covid. Though vaccinated, I was tested nonetheless for Covid upon my arrival. Masks are mandatory. For visitors too. Visitors are limited to a maximum of 30 minutes in isolated areas away from other patients. Staff is tested for Covid twice a week. The facility is clean. The food is very good, kosher and nutritionally balanced. The staff is attentive and helpful. Many of them have been employed here for many years. It is a tribute to the management who apparently treat their employees fairly. Best of all, whereas I could hardly stand upon my arrival, 5 weeks later, upon leaving, I can stand and walk (not normally yet) thanks to their physical therapy and occupational therapy staff. For all these reasons, Dry Harbor gets 5 stars out of 5."

"A few months ago, I went to the hospital for surgery and decided that Ditmas Park Care Center would be my choice for my post-procedure rehab. The rehab program that the therapists customized for me is enjoyable yet thorough. I'm always motivated to get to my sessions on time because all of the therapists make my day! While we are working together, I always feel ambitious about meeting my personal rehab goals designed for me by my therapists. I am looking forward to walking unassisted again so I can continue doing the things that I love most such as visiting the local senior center, walking my Pomeranian named ”Sugar", and even visiting my favorite casino! I have recently progressed to using a walker, and I am getting closer and closer to achieving my objective. Thank you very much to everyone at Ditmas Park Rehab & Care Center for all of your kindness and diligence! Keep up the good work!! "

"I toured the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. On every floor we were taken to, I didn't see any discrepancies. We were taken to the memory care division. It looked like it was a clean place, so I have no complaints. The staff member who gave the tour was not knowledgeable, but the person they claimed we were supposed to see had something else to do, so they put another person on to take us around. He was OK. If we had another person who normally does it, we'd get more information on him, but it wasn't bad. It was OK. It looked like a clean area. I didn't see anything wrong with the rooms they showed us and that we passed through, but I peeked, and they looked well-kept. They showed us different rooms. They showed us one-on-one, and then we saw two-on-two. I mean two people in a room, and we saw one person in the room. So it was OK."

"My mother has been missing a lot of items at Lincoln Park Renaissance. She also feels like her needs aren't being provided as others are. They're not going out much. They only have stuff coming to them right now. Her room is two occupancy. The room is OK."

"My mother is in the Llanfair Care and Rehabilitation Center dementia ward. The nurses are caring. They're limited to one floor because the dementia patients are a flight risk, but they go down for physical therapy if they need it. They give them showers on a schedule, and they try to keep everything as normal as possible. They bring in a person to play the piano, which calms them, and they have movie days. They're very good and very caring. It's very challenging dealing with a population that can't regulate their own behavior, but they're patient. The food tastes good, they season it, and they're able to accommodate choking hazards. They keep their place and the patients clean, they clean the rooms, and they change the linens. The place is attractive and modernized."

"We visited the independent living at Cedar Crest. It's very lovely and very large. My mother-in-law is moving into what looks to be a lovely apartment. Everyone we met was very helpful and very kind. They seemed involved and concerned. So far we have nothing, but good things to say. It appeared to be very well kept. The apartment had been completely redone before she moved in, so that was nice. I dealt with the sales staff, and I thought some questions were a little evasive (part of that is sales). I had to ask some questions more than once to get an answer that I thought was what they were trying to tell me or not tell me. The dining room looked very pleasant, and the menus looked good. They had a beauty salon, a barbershop, a library, a chapel, a pool, a TV studio, and a game room. It's a huge, huge place. They had many organizations and clubs. She knew somebody who lived there and that was her reason for choosing it."

"I was at West Caldwell Care Center for rehab and the people were nice. They treated me very well and took care of me. They came in and cleaned my room including the bathroom. They would change my bedclothes and my linen as well. I liked the food. They gave me three hot meals a day. They'd give me a list and then I could choose from the list what I wanted to eat. It wasn't just getting what was for the day. I had three or four different choices and I put on weight there. It's beautiful outside because they had me walk around the outside of the building to see how I did my breathing and oxygen levels and things like that. Even during my physical therapy, every time I would do something, they would check my oxygen level."

"The place is clean. The lobby is very clean and the staff there is nice. the elevators could use some cleaning. The rooms are very clean. The nursing staff is friendly. The bathrooms are clean. I had a party in one of their rooms for a resident and it was a very cordial atmosphere. Parking facilities are great with a lot of spaces. My friend likes it there and says that she is being treated very well there by the staff of the facility. I would recommend this place to elderly people contemplating a nursing home. "
