The Director of this facility went above and beyond in assisting with getting my sister as a resident. She was available even on a Sunday when I sent her an email expecting to hear back from her on Monday, but got it on Sunday. My sister is so happy to be there. The staff is so helpful and cooperative. All needs are met immediately. Having dealt with family members at other facilities, I can truly say this is the best I have ever dealt with.

I began following The Sentinel of Port Jervis as soon as I saw the sign go up. I’ve seen pictures & adored the smiles. I took my daughter to their Halloween event & was immediately greeted with smiles, candy & directions to the goodies. I inquired about housing for a loved one & within minutes we were greeted & she was taken for screening immediately! Thank everyone involved for an amazing party & a sense of security.

When I visited this facility it was like walking into a whole different world. How beautiful and clean. There was someone from each department there not like other nursing homes where you had to leave a message because that dept is closed . It’s a 24hr facility always help and always someone there to answer your questions.

Visited last week and was blown away by how beautiful everything was. Walking in felt like I was transported to a cruise or something with how nice they kept the place. The lady that showed us around was really excited and answered all our questions. The rest of the staff were real nice too, all smiles. They got a nice dining area and a movie theater you can use. There's a lounge with plenty of games and activities too. As of right now I think they only have a few residents, but I met some and they all seem nice and happy with where they are. Looking forward to coming back.

I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience at The Sentinel of Port Jervis. I have been looking for quite some time for the perfect place for my grandmother. Sadly, not one facility I visited was even close to being qualified, prepared or motivated to care for others... until I visited The Sentinel of Port Jervis. I was greeted with welcoming smiles, caring hearts and a true passion for wanting to help my grandmother. To my great surprise, I was given a tour by the Executive Director Lisa. I have never been to any facility that the actual Executive Director gives a tour. This Director was I’m sure so busy and preoccupied with executive duties and she didn’t blink for a second about giving me my very own tour with her. My tour with Lisa was beyond all of my expectations. The facility was immaculate. The staff was warm and embracing. Just being there gave me a sense of calm knowing my grandma would receive the very best of care. There is no other place I would ever recommend to bring your loved ones to other than The Sentinel of Port Jervis. It is here that those closest to you will receive the most loving, attentive and devoted care. In the hands of the staff at this facility, all of my worries have disappeared and my heart is filled with joy that my grandma is in the right hands. Thank you Lisa and your staff for making this the most positive, happy experience!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and offered a tour. The facility is gorgeous, the dining room is elegant, the activities looked fun, and the rooms are inviting. The staff were both welcoming and knowledgeable. All of our questions were answered and we left confident knowing our loved one would be in great hands.
