My dad moved to Twin Cedar Senior Living. The place is small. It's not very big. It may have 30 people in it. It's out in the country, and it's a nice place. Their nurses are nice. Their staff is nice. He shares a room with someone, but all they do is sleep in there. They have a big spot where they all go to watch TV. They have an indoor bird sanctuary thing. They have a movie room. They have a patio where they can go out and sit. It's nice and it's close to my house, so I could go there and take him out for dinner if I want, or I could take him for the weekend and then bring him back. My dad says the food is good. They serve him food, dinner, and then they serve him dessert and everything like that. The facility is very clean. The bathrooms could be a little bit nicer and a little bit cleaner. Their sink and stuff are older, and their showers are older, but it seems okay. They're not expensive.

My grandmother moved to Twin Cedar Senior Living. She's fitting perfectly, and it's been a smooth transition. So far we're happy with the care she's receiving there. Her apartment, it's a shared room with another resident with a private bathroom. They also offer private rooms and suites. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have games, bingo, and birdwatching.

My grandfather has been a resident for the past year. I am extremely happy with the staff as they treat my grandfather as family. The facility is clean and has a cozy home like setting. I can see the difference in my grandfather as he is participating with others and joins in activities daily.

Our family has been blessed to find such an outstanding senior living facility for our grandfather. He's actively involved in their gardening club, and the joy it brings him is immeasurable.

My brother has been doing all the research from afar and saw all the positive reviews on this place. Very nice people. Property is beautiful and inside if very nice and homey. Saw some activities going on, having their residents moving and all seemed happy. They had a few different room options which I liked . Place was clean and smelled good. I don't know how the food tastes but I did see one resident that was eating what looked to be very appetizing and healthy. Was no comparison with the other places in the area. If we decide to keep mom in pike county, we foresure will pick twin cedar.

Twin Cedar Senior Living was nice. The rooms were really small. We liked it, but they don't take Medicare, so we didn't go with them. My parents could be asked to be moved out of this facility. They wouldn't be able to care for them at a higher level of care. If they would have been able to keep my parents until their ending days, I think I would have thought of them as a possibility, but we would have to transfer them out, and they are very far away from everything. The staff was great. The amenities were very basic. There's nothing spectacular. They had ice cream socials every night, which I thought was fun. They had the hair salon and the podiatrist coming in. They have a lovely outside area. The location is wonderful. The sides of the drive-up were like beautiful blooming mountain laurels. It was just so lovely. It was like you were going to a resort. The backyard is filled with wild blueberries and they have children that come and take the wild blueberries from the surrounding school. That's kind of nice for the seniors to see the little kids picking blueberries in the backyard.

I recently visited my father in law and words can’t explain how impressed I was with the facility!! Not only was the facility clean, but the staff clearly loved their jobs and went above and beyond for all the residents there. My father in laws needs are met, and I’ve never seen him happier, I highly recommend it!

My uncle is getting up in age and with his recent medical diagnosis is just to much for me to handle on my own. I have to say after much deliberation this was the best decision I made for him. The staff is amazing very attentive and they treat him well. In the month he’s been there he’s called me daily to tell me about the activities he gets to enjoy. I’m so glad he’s safe and well cared for.

My Dad has been living at Twin Cedars for 3 yrs now. The staff has always been great with my Dad and helping me when needed. When Covid 19 hit this past year it was very stressful having him in a senior home but Twin Cedars did an excellent job in keeping everyone safe and healthy. It is always fun to see the activity they do with their resident's as they love to take pictures and put them on Facebook and with not being able to see your love one as much as your used to it is a nice surprise to see how much fun they are having.

My grandma Betty was a resident at Twin Cedar. She had a beautiful private room, with plenty of space. The grounds at Twin Cedar were always so well kept. One of mine and my Grandma's favorite things to do was to go out and walk the paved paths. We got to enjoy the clean air and the scenic outside. The staff was attentive and so caring with every resident. They treat everyone there like family. Grandma made lots of great friends during her stay, and she was always off to some activity. Grandma loved to go to the beauty parlor and get her nails done without even having to leave home. Everything was made accessible to her. Her favorite night always was Movie Night. Grandma was a big movie lady. Grandma Betty is gone now for a month and we miss her tons. But we are so grateful to Twin Cedar for the great care of our Grandma until the end.

Twin Cedars Senior Living was fine. The only thing that my wife didn't like is that her mom is only 72, and she kinda felt like everybody there was in their 80s. She felt like that place kinda looked too old for her mom. We didn't have a problem with the place. We liked the structure of the place and how they kept the elderly people on a schedule for the bathrooms and all that. The rooms were fine, clean and neat. They were all courteous, polite and informative. I personally thought the place was good. We didn't cross them off the list, but my wife just felt that the residents were too old. Her mom still got her wits about her even though she's physically troubled. They were good about the activities, and they showed all the different stuff that they did. I believe it was like a 30-minute visit. The facilities were all great.

My Grandmother is currently at Twin Cedar, The facility is clean, the team is great and super receptive to her. My Grandmother says the food is great and that everything is peaceful! I am just so happy to know that they take COVID-19 seriously as they were not affected at all from the virus and took the necessary precautions in making sure that all their Residents including my dear Grandmother were safe and secure while being able to enjoy their time and retirement . Definitely a 5 star +

Dad has been a resident for three years. Since his time there his health has deteriorated and the staff have been excellent with his change of care. When dad first moved in he participated in activities that consisted of music. His greatest joy in life. Now because he chooses to not participate the staff puts on his music in his room so he can still enjoy what he loves. The residence is well maintained and every staff member that has been involved with dad’s care treat him as if he were their dad. He is treated with respect and love. He has his own room with his private bathroom. His room is just the right size for his needs. The outside grounds are nicely kept with an area for the residents to be outside to sit or walk for exercise. As dad’s condition declines the staff has always been up to challenge and meeting those needs. Knowing he is getting such excellent care makes our life less stressful, which gives us piece of mind especially at these challenging times.

Twin Cedars Senior Living was very nice. It was a smaller facility, but the distance involved was a little bit too great for utilization. The staff was very nice, the residents seemed to enjoy the staff, and the staff seemed to enjoy the residents as well. I walked through the dining area and it was very homelike. They had singalongs, outings, and it seemed to be a very social outings for the residents. They would go to 1 or 2 places every month for dining and general museum type atmospheres.

We're happy with Twin Cedars Senior Living. Mom shares a very clean room with somebody else. They have a bunch of activities going on. Mom seems happy with the food, and she can have whatever she wants as long as she tells them in advance. There are books that they can read and a patio with some benches. The staff seems competent.

My mother was a resident of Twin Cedars for 3 years and every time I went to visit her she was content and happy. The place was always clean, food excellent and well balanced. The residents were taken on little outings to site see or maybe go out for lunch and of course The Creamery which is a local ice cream parlor. Every week there were events for them to enjoy and a beauty parlor in house so they could get their hair done right there. I would recommend this facility to anyone and one day maybe I will be there also.

I placed my mother here a little more than a year ago and am very happy with my decision. The nurses and care givers are very patient and attentive. It has a "home" environment as opposed to a hospital feel. The food is good and they do their best to make sure the residents have daily activities.

Twin Cedars is small, it is quiet, and my mom likes it. They do small activities for her, so she is comfortable there. She is in a single room, and it is very nice. Around the place, they have a little porch that they sit on. It is not in the middle of the city or anything, so it is nice. She is older, so she doesn't really like doing a lot of the bigger activities. She does some of the smaller ones like art and stuff like that. The food is pretty good, and she likes it.

I chose Twin Cedars Senior Living because it was almost like a big home. It doesn't look like a hospital or an office building. This is similar to the kind of lifestyle that my father-in-law was accustomed to. It looks like a big ranch. It's really a nice setting. Basically, when you walk in there, there is a big main area and then there's three wings that go off of that. Each wing has different rooms, single occupancy or double occupancy, depending on what you want. They also have a dining room. The food is excellent. They post meals for the week and they're good balanced meals. They've got activities everyday for the residents. They also offer transportation for residents to go places. The staff do a real nice job of keeping in touch with us. If something changes, they'll call you. We have not been unhappy at all with this place.
