Five Stars For Twin Cedars! Before coming to Twin Cedars, we dealt with a number of nursing homes in the area. We had bad experience after bad experience...rude staff, dirty facilities, and a lack of activities. Twin Cedars was like a breath of fresh air. From the start, we had nothing but good experiences with the staff (we had an especially nice interaction with Tara) and the administration. We couldn't believe how attentive and professional the CNAs were toward the residents, taking the time to know them as people and not just duties. I witnessed one young lady remember an older gentleman's birthday and it absolutely made his day. Twin Cedars is staffed with people that truly love their jobs and truly care about the people in their care. Its a tough job but they do it with grace and competence. We are extremely grateful for all they do.

Provider Response

We strive to provide optimum care , and resident specific care. We will continue to achieve nothing but the highest resident, family, and guest satisfaction. Thank you again for taking the time to recognize us !

My sister was the first to visit this facility after finding it through and it sounded so good I was skeptical but when we brought my mom to stay, just days after New Years 2020, it was every bit as good as my sister described. The staff, led by Bayard and Tara, and all the others, the happiness of the residents, the spotless beautiful facilities, were all completely accommodating. My mom adapted to her new home so quickly I was amazed. At first, she wanted to go home but, while I did the paperwork in the office, the staff had her enjoying tea in the dining room and she was amazingly ready for our goodbyes. She is so happy there and I am so relieved and can’t thank the staff enough. If you feel like you’re alone and overwhelmed with your loved one’s care, check out Twin Cedar. You won’t be disappointed.

Provider Response

Thank you so much for your kind words Skye ! We greatly appreciate all your support, and for entrusting your mom in our care at Twin Cedar Senior Living ! We are so happy to be able to provide care for your mom.

I visited this facility

Twin Cedars Senior Living was very nice. It was a smaller facility, but the distance involved was a little bit too great for utilization. The staff was very nice, the residents seemed to enjoy the staff, and the staff seemed to enjoy the residents as well. I walked through the dining area and it was very homelike. They had singalongs, outings, and it seemed to be a very social outings for the residents. They would go to 1 or 2 places every month for dining and general museum type atmospheres.

We're happy with Twin Cedars Senior Living. Mom shares a very clean room with somebody else. They have a bunch of activities going on. Mom seems happy with the food, and she can have whatever she wants as long as she tells them in advance. There are books that they can read and a patio with some benches. The staff seems competent.

I am a friend or relative of resident

My mother was a resident of Twin Cedars for 3 years and every time I went to visit her she was content and happy. The place was always clean, food excellent and well balanced. The residents were taken on little outings to site see or maybe go out for lunch and of course The Creamery which is a local ice cream parlor. Every week there were events for them to enjoy and a beauty parlor in house so they could get their hair done right there. I would recommend this facility to anyone and one day maybe I will be there also.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I placed my mother here a little more than a year ago and am very happy with my decision. The nurses and care givers are very patient and attentive. It has a "home" environment as opposed to a hospital feel. The food is good and they do their best to make sure the residents have daily activities.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Twin Cedars is small, it is quiet, and my mom likes it. They do small activities for her, so she is comfortable there. She is in a single room, and it is very nice. Around the place, they have a little porch that they sit on. It is not in the middle of the city or anything, so it is nice. She is older, so she doesn't really like doing a lot of the bigger activities. She does some of the smaller ones like art and stuff like that. The food is pretty good, and she likes it.

I chose Twin Cedars Senior Living because it was almost like a big home. It doesn't look like a hospital or an office building. This is similar to the kind of lifestyle that my father-in-law was accustomed to. It looks like a big ranch. It's really a nice setting. Basically, when you walk in there, there is a big main area and then there's three wings that go off of that. Each wing has different rooms, single occupancy or double occupancy, depending on what you want. They also have a dining room. The food is excellent. They post meals for the week and they're good balanced meals. They've got activities everyday for the residents. They also offer transportation for residents to go places. The staff do a real nice job of keeping in touch with us. If something changes, they'll call you. We have not been unhappy at all with this place.
