Elant Inc was great and almost like the grounds of a nursing home where they make sure you get your meds and everything. They showed me one specific room, which was a studio.

I was very displeased with this facility. There is plaster on the walls showing, the lobby smells of urine. If you call the nursing desk you can call for hours and hours before someone picks up. They are extremely understaffed. The portions of the food is minimal. You can wait an extremely long time for help to come because they are so understaffed. When I came to pick up my family member no one came into the room to go over any information with me.

Elant at Goshen was adequate. The food was subpar. They need to improve on the food. It was more of an industrial run place. They didn't have quite as much to do. They had a community room with a piano, and arts and crafts were their main focal point. They didn't really go out and do more than that. Their staff was pretty good though.

My impression of Elant in Goshen was very positive. My grandfather-in-law has been treated very kindly. He is a member of the bell choir and regularly performs. He has been given small jobs such as news paper delivery person which has contributed to his self esteem. The staff knows him by name and have a great deal of respect for him a person. Lately he has fallen ill, but the staff is still engaged and helpful as they ever were. Elant is very welcoming of visitors and are flexible with visiting hours. It has always been easy to take grandpa George out for Easter, Thanksgiving, graduations etc. The facility is clean, well lit, and provides a ton of activities for the residents. The only negative feedback I have is lately since Grandpa George has gotten weaker he needs help getting to the bathroom. Sometimes it will take a half an hour for a staff member to be available. It's sad for me to think of him having to wait that long and I know it's upsetting to him as well.

Elant is top of the line among all of the facilities I visited. I would say that this place suits my brother's needs. If there's an opening, I would definitely take it in a minute. They have nurses, they have doctors and their facility is very clean. They have staff there all the time. They seemed very helpful. There are a lot, or shall I say enough staff there. It's more like a nursing home only that they have more staff yet the residents still have their freedom and independence. They get to have 3 meals a day and get help with help with their medicine too. I also looked at one of their rooms. It was very nice. This facility would be my first choice for my brother.
