They've been efficient all the way through. I have two caregivers, one person on the weekend and one person during the week, and they're both excellent. They're very caring. They pitch in where they're needed, and I don't even have to ask, so it has been a very good experience. When someone is very, very ill, you need that kind of support. Because my spouse is incontinent, they make sure he is clean. They shave him, and they make sure his hair is cut. Some are chatty, others more businesslike, but without exception they are kind, understanding, and comfortable with old people like us. An aide gets my wife up in the morning and prepares her for the day, including transferring her by wheelchair from her bedroom to our living room. In the evening, an aide does the same in reverse. I've made a couple schedule changes since we started working with the agency and they've accommodated them without a problem.
