"Sunrise of Bridgewater was a brand-new place. They were still working on the building, and they were still trying to get residents. We got to see one of the showrooms and part of the place because the rest of it wasn't complete yet. The showroom was nice, but my mom did not like it because the ceilings were very high. She thought it was too hotel-like. The staff members did a good job. They were able to answer all of our questions."

"I can't say enough about the warmth and support of the staff, from the director on down. They went out of their way to accept my father for what turned out to be a short hospice stay, unfortunately. Throughout, they did everything possible to support us and give us a peaceful place to be."

"The staff at Sunrise of Madison was very welcoming and professional, but my father wasn't impressed because he thought that the rooms there were very small. They had a lot of activities and everybody was very nice. The place was clean and well maintained."

"It was very nice. The staff was very cordial and very engaging. We went during their happy hour. They had a gentleman that was singing and serenading the guests. He had some sing-a-longs. Afterwards, they served cheese, crackers, and fruit beverages. He sat and talked with the some of the residents during that time. I think my mom enjoyed the conversations there. It had a home-based atmosphere with formal dining. It was really nice. We didn't get a chance to partake in a meal or anything. They stated they had menus, where you could order from when you are seated. You have a choice of whatever is on the menu. They catered to your differences of nutritional limitations, so that was good. They had bingo and happy hour. They had scheduled activities that were posted. There were monthly trips to the mall and trips to various events around town. They said they have movie night with popcorn. The staff that gave us the tour was very helpful. What we saw was very nice. The rooms were very nice and very clean. They showed us the various options of a larger room versus smaller room. Also, there were different views from different rooms, like a nice park view from one side and then the parking lot. It was roomy, though. The rooms were very nice and had plenty of closet space to put your personal things in. You have access to a laundry room and any other things that are needed for hair care. They had a little store on the premises, if you want to buy something."

"My parents moved into Brookdale Senior Living (Brookdale Florham Park) in March. I found it because it was near my house. It’s a nice place with very nice nurses and workers. The best part for me is the location. The community is very clean. It is an adjustment for my parents, but the management is very accommodating try to do what they can to make you happy. They were actually one of the more flexible ones as far as working with you on negotiating the price. The nurses are very hands-on. The one thing negative is that the nurses are not there all of the time. There’s people all of the time, but you don’t have 24-hour nursing, RN or LPN staff. After 7 p.m. until the morning, I think the person in charge is a medtech, not a nurse. So far, we haven’t had any issues. It is a nice community. There are all kinds of different doctors that come to the facility. My parents are in a nice studio room that's in perfect shape. The kitchen is really modern and decently sized, the bathroom is big with a walk-in shower. The room might be a little on the smaller side, but it is very clean and the carpet is brand new. The room looks new, but the place itself is a little dated. The carpet and some of the furniture in the common room are a little dated, too. "

"I really liked it. When I first walked in, there was a bunch of people exercising in one of the rooms which was really nice. Tanya, the woman who showed me around, was wonderful, very informative, and she introduced me to other residents. She's very helpful in telling me about the whole process. Everything was very clean, and the place was relatively new, about only a year old."

"The staff at Spring Hills was nice. They have bunch of activities to offer. Their rooms were big. The price was good and acceptable. Some places were almost $7000 to $8000 a month. Aside from that, they want us to have over two years' worth of money there, which is a lot of money. Then at the end, if we run out of money, and mom is still alive, they can't guarantee that they'll have a place for her. To me, that's crazy. Spring Hills, on the other hand, said that they would find a place for her. So I thought overall, they were pretty good. "

"The Sunrise Assisted Living Facility of Westfield, New Jersey is a welcoming home for its members and the like. The architecture and the bright landscape that envelops the home secures a sense of safeness and camaraderie between the employees and those living there. Not only does the facility feature up-to-date activities to occupy the time, such as lavish pool tables and flat screen televisions, but the home regularly invites those from the Girl Scout Troop to have conversations with the elderly. The entire atmosphere of Sunrise promotes a sense of love and caring, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of an assisted living facility. "

"While looking for options of senior citizens assistance for my parents I got to Livia. Customer agent via web chat was kind and helpful in providing answers to my queries. As son of senior/ederly parents I want to provide them a wonderful and more enjoyable life for the rest of the time that GOD may have planned for them. Customer agent was very attentive, so I hope the rest of the personnel is as good as him or even better. That would provide a sense of trust and confidence that your love ones will be in good hands."

"I enjoyed the time I spent at the assisted living home.The staff was friendly and it was very clean. Everything was always tidy and in order. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a place to put a loved one. Everyone there is just so friendly and it makes visiting the place much more enjoyable. When you walk in for the first time, you are comforted with the clean smell and the pleasant decor. The rooms are nicely sized so that everyone has a good place to live. They also hold activities such as bingo which really gets the people going. They play to win little tickets or points that they can use to spend on things they like. "

"Spring Hills has exceptional activities staff. Speaking as a family member of a resident in the memory care section, known as Spring Cottage, I can say that the activities staff are incredible. They provide physical activity such as chair yoga and group exercise, as well as involve the Spring Cottage residents in events, BBQs, and other activities held in the community. They are really incredible at keeping them engaged! Well done."

"Approaching almost 5 years as a resident with my wife in the Independent Floor has been a wonderful experience. Apartment was very clean, freshly painted, new carpeting, spacious rooms. The cleaning dept was there vacuuming and mopping the common areas every day. Overall the Manager, Jyll B. and Christine A. have very professionally addressed this Corona Virus outbreak with care and concern beyond words. Also the staff including dietary do their utmost to help wherever they can to keep all the residents safe and cared for on a personal level. Everyone there should be given a medal for outstanding care! Anyone considering to have their loved ones live there will be truly happy with their decision "
