"My mom was in temporary rehab at Regency Nursing and Rehab. She was there for physical therapy and the physical therapists were terrific. They actually had her out of the facility a week earlier than they anticipated due to the progress they made. The management was well orchestrated. There was a presence of the management everyday checking in and making sure that my mother was happy. If we had any concerns, it was dealt with immediately. I would recommend them to others. "

"A close family member had two extended stays in Ditmas Park, after a stroke and a follow-on seizure. I and he were very pleased with the staff and facilities, including the administrative personnel, the nursing staff and doctors, as well as the physical rehab professionals. They combined to make a difficult experience as positive as possible. The facility itself is well maintained and soothing. I highly recommend Ditmas Park!"

"The rooms are very nice,Laurel Bay is a wonderful place to live it is very homey. I,ve been living here since 1998 and if you have to live in a nursing home Laurel Bay is where you should stay whether it’s short term or long term it’s all just like one big happy family. Everybody is a part of the family. We do all kinds of activities including great parties and wonderful live entertainment. It’s one big family we all take care of each other. Administration and staff are always there for you. Laurel Bay is a very welcoming place. M. "I was transferred here at Morris Hills Center from the hospital. The food has its drawbacks. The room is spacious and clean. They could paint the walls inside because there were a lot of chips, and that affects the overall look of the room. "

"My mother is in a subacute rehab facility at Care One At Madison Avenue. We toured a few of the nursing homes, but this one seemed to be the best and the location was good. That's why we chose it. The feel and the look are excellent. So far, the staff has been good. Medicare is paying for it. The dining area is not completed yet, but it will be soon. My mother has been eating in her room and the food seems to be OK. It's pureed because she is having trouble swallowing. There are activities, but she hasn't taken part in any of them yet. They have people come in and do little musical performances, there are also church services, massages, manicures, trivia, arts and crafts, and spelling bees."

"My father is in The Villa at Florham. The staff who were working seemed to be happy working there, but they seemed to be a little bit desensitized. There's a chapel downstairs, and they have mass every day. He's in the memory care ward, and they don't have many activities, but they have a lot of activities in the assisted living facility."

"I visited my friend at Morris view and she had a great experience. The place is beautiful. The nurses and aides on the day shift were exceptional. Night shift was interesting cause she likes to go to bed later and the aides tend to want the resident to go to bed too early. The food wasn't the best so, she would order out all the time."

"The staff at CareOne was great. The property was great and well maintained. The care and rehabilitation was wonderful. I can't say anything bad about it. They have bingo and other activities, but my mother-in-law didn't participate in any of it. She had a private room. It's clean, and comfortable. She was there for about 50 days."

"I am very pleased with Pine Acres Convalescent Center, and the care they've been giving my brother. He's getting 24-hour nursing care in a shared room, which is extremely clean and comfortable. It's not a fancy place and older but kept beautifully. What I've been most impressed by is the caring and friendliness of the staff. There is not a single person that does not greet me when I'm there. All of the administrative staff knew my name at my second visit. They are very amenable to keeping in touch with me either by phone or by email. They do whatever I ask them to do and they've taken wonderful care of my brother. Their food looks really delicious, too. Their menu always looks very appealing to me. "

"My friend was at Chatham Hills. He was only in rehab there. For the first two weeks, he was in isolation. Every room has an outdoor window, and they numbered the windows so you could go to the window and visit them. The room was like a regular hospital room, but the nurses always made sure that they pulled them to the window to see us. He saw us there even though he was on the opposite side of the room. They seemed to be much more friendly and helpful. However, there were a lot of a lot of miscommunications. My friend was very picky and he didn't like the food."

"Holly Manor was a great nursing facility. The staff, along with all the other guests were phenominal. The minute we entered the place, we knew they would treat my grandmother right. The R/N's new exactly what to do with each problem that came up. Also, the physical therapists tried their hardest to get my grandmother to walk again, although they were unsuccessful. The only problem we had was with the N/A's. They took to long to help my grandmother, along with all the other patients. They would all be sitting in the hallway talking about their lives. The patients would be screaming for help and the N/A's would pretend not to hear. The food didnt taste as good as it could've, but the kitchen staff and the support staff was really great. We would have to bring my grandmothers dinners and lunches because she just wouldnt eat the food. Overall, even with the flaws, it was a great experience. "

"My dad raves about the food at Troy Hills Center. He loves the food, which is great. When you walk in, you have a feeling that you are in a hospital, but the staff makes it a lot better. They are really nice. They sort of distract you from the sight. It is an older building, but they do what they can. They need to modernize it a little bit. "
