"My mother is in Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing. It's excellent. I'm very happy with them. It's very clean. The staff is awesome. They take very good care of my mother, who is hard to take care of. They're always friendly and always smiling. They have little concerts, they play games, they have art classes, and Zumba. It's very active. There are a few things every day. My mother said the food is very good. The choices are good, and it tastes good."

"If you are thinking of putting a loved one in the New Jersey Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater NJ, you may want to hear about my terrible experience. My father was transferred to that facility from the hospital. The facility was given time to look over his records and after that, accepted the transfer. When we arrived in his room, it was obvious that the room had not been cleaned. The toilet was filthy, there were no toiletries, the pillowcase was soiled, and the phone was also dirty. I showed it to the staff member in the room and there was very little reaction. This leads me to believe it is not unusual. That should have been a clue that this facility was not going to work out. The following day we receive a call that he was being discharged. They said he would not be eligible for services because he would not make any progress with rehab. They determined that in less than 12 hours. We wanted to know why they would not even give him a chance to improve and was given no reason. We asked to speak to someone clinical to ask why, but no one would speak with us. I left multiple messages for the rehab director to call me back, but she did not. I email her and the Administrator and neither called me, even though I said it was urgent. To this day, they still have not returned my calls or emails. Now we were faced with no time to investigate another facility. We should have been given three days noticed before they discharged him, but we were not. We had to scramble to find a facility that would take him. Based on this experience, I would not recommend that you put a loved one in this facility. If an urgent matter should arise, you cannot be sure that your issue will be addressed. This facility does not take urgent matters seriously."

"I see a lot of old reviews and some for the assisted living this is for the Skilled rehab here. My grandfather was here for 3 weeks. When he was admitted he could barley walk with his walker. The PT department was absolutely amazing with getting him involved and giving him therapy 7days every week. The nursing director were very involved not just sitting in their office. Any special request was heard and if they couldn't accommodate they would let us bring everything in. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for rehab. Couldn't thank them enough for getting grandpa home and walking again!"

"My mother is at River's Edge. The staff is helpful, but understaffed on the weekend. They’re very helpful people though, and they have activities. My mother is in a shared room. The housekeeping does a good job. They clean adequately. The rooms are spacious. There are small closets. "

"My aunt is at Rehab at River's Edge. They seemed to be OK with her, she's happy, and has no complaints with being there. We really have to have a lot of contact because we are not allowed to go there. The rehabilitation people have called a lot of times to let us know what her status is, and that kind of stuff, so there's no problems. She likes the food, she's happy with the food, and she has no complaints about anything. From what I've seen I've only been in the main lobby part of it, and it's in very good condition I have never been into the rooms. They don't allow the visits."

"Complete Care at Green Knoll is a very nice community. My father has been there for two months now and they're certainly top rated. The staff has been very pleasant and very relaxed. He's got a nice room and they have activities, but unfortunately, because of COVID, everything's suspended. The building is easy to access and easy to navigate too. They're a little pricey though."

"My father in law, who suffered with alzheimers disease, was a resident at Bridgeway for about three years, until his passing away 10 months ago. The nursing staff, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, treated him like he was their top patient! In fact, they treated ALL their patients with respect and dignity and care. For a nursing facility, they were/are by far, outstanding! "

"I went to Parker at Somerset. Part of it is a nursing home and the other part is an adult daycare center. It is 5 everywhere. That is our choice if we needed to place my mom. There was nothing wrong with that place. It was clean, friendly, modern, and safe. She's on a waitlist. I've been speaking and communicating with the staff over email. They're very knowledgeable and they care. That place is unbelievable. The dining area was perfect. The place was modern and safe and had every amenity, but because it's a nursing home, I was not able to go in and see too much of what the residents were doing. You had to have an appointment, but I spoke to some of the loved ones out there, and they had nothing but glowing reviews. When I went in, I didn't go too far, but everything that I had seen from when I went in was perfect."

"Mom settled at Fellowship Village Continuing Care Community in 2008, where she became a very active Independent Living resident . She enjoyed many social activities and served on committees and initiated activities. We are grateful that Mom was able to enjoy a life of elegance and comfort at Fellowship Village. Surrounded by friends, she remained socially active and engaged. She was well cared for in Assisted Living as her needs grew. We are deeply thankful for the community and the care she received there."

"My father-in-law was in Willow Creek Rehabilitation and Care Center. It was OK. It wasn’t as nice as the place we put them in and I don’t think that the staff was as professional, caring, and responsive. The nursing staff should probably pay attention to their patients more than they did. The cleanliness wasn’t fantastic. The food was OK."

"I had one woman whom I talked with at The Avalon at Hillsborough who was very informative. She sat down with me and talked over finances. I think it all went pretty smoothly. The place was laid out pretty nicely with a dining room set up like a nice restaurant. They seemed to have a lot of activities, a theater room, a pool table outside, and a little stand for popcorn or candies. "

"We liked Bridgeway Care and Rehab Center at Hillsborough very much. It was one of the newer and cleaner places. It had large windows and a high ceiling in the lobby, and it just felt very airy. The rooms were much larger than the place that my sister is in now. The bedrooms were shared and the bathroom was only shared by those 2 people. The bathroom was huge and it got a huge walk-in shower and they provided the shower chairs and the commodes to go over the toilet so that they have arms and they can stand easily. The showers have all kinds of rails in them for safety. The furniture was new and it looked very comfortable. They provided flat-screen TVs for all the residents. I've visited at times when most of the residents were in activities. So, I've seen them playing bingo and Family Feud. The schedule for the activities was extensive and they all looked so happy. They explained to us that they have a printed menu and the residents will have a choice, and it's also online. So, I can just go online and read the menu to her so she can have a choice. Their rehab facility was pretty large and it had a lot of machines."

"ProMedica Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation in Piscataway is great. It really is. I've been back and forth here like four times, and the people are good. They give me three meals today, physical therapy, my medicine, and if I need help getting dressed and washed up, they help me do that. They have all kinds of activities for the residents, like movies. There is something is going on every day."
